Thanks! Yes, I did look at mercure hotel as well, and it was pretty trashy as well (or I will say almost same as capitol hotel). Glad that I am not the only one feeling this. Any other suggestions from other folks EITHER close to czar or red square?

Thanks Rainman, in which case I think I may just book a week with Hyatt Regency. Did you book single or double occupancy and did they charge you extra for taking the girl upstairs? I remember they had charged me once for this, about 200 dirhams if I recall, (was the last time I ever stayed there).

I am trying to finalize my first trip to Dubai for later this month. I want to stay close to Czar or Red Square I. E. Within walking distance (as I will like to pull multiple girls in a day / night). Now, I know that both these clubs have associated hotels as Capitol Hotel and Moscow Hotel. I was able to grab a booking for Capitol hotel. But, feeling that these two hotels are somewhat trashy, rooms not clean / old etc. Is there a better hotel within walking distance of EITHER of these two clubs? Ofcourse, needs to be girl friendly as well. Thanks for helping out.

Does the Hyatt Regency (One with the Premier) still have a strange or inconsistent policy with regards to girls going up to your room? I stayed a long time ago (over 10 years ago) and then it was a cracking hotel and you could get into Premier free and take up girls no issue. Then it all changed I think due to some fracas with a local. Anyway, would like to know or a good decent 5 star hotel near the Premiere? Many years ago I used to stay at Radisson Blu and that went red also, and not so interested anymore as Kubu seems to have tanked. Appreciate any info or advice. Thanks in advance.

I've stayed there a few times now, never had an issue. At worst you need to register the girl (s) at reception but a few times I've not even had to do that.

The one exception maybe Taj, they were also one of the few dry hotels in Dubai. May have changed but historically that chain has actively discouraged certain behaviour, would be cautious on that one.

If you stick to the big US, European chains you should be fine.

I'm thinking of some hotels like Taj Exotica, Antasia. But always scared to book as what if it turns out to be Red (I'm ok with registering the Bird) But not a walk of shame when too many questions asked and getting unnecessary attention.

But looks like based on your experience it's promising! Good to know.

My recent trip I had booked a room for 2, checked in on my own and when I was asked about my guest just joked that would depend on how lucky I got! I was at the Hilton Habtoor which is becoming a firm favourite.

    LE Meridien

No issue. I simply checked the girl in at the reception desk and took her up as usual. This was just two days ago. Plain sailing.

After a long hiatus I'm back in Dubai for 2 weeks. Just arrived today and checked into my usual and always faithful LE Meridien as planning on going Jules tonight.

However, very disturbing to see they know have a security guy posted just before the lifts. I'm hoping it'll be no problem and will report back if it is. Have any of you guys been here recently and if so any issues?
