But looks like based on your experience it's promising! Good to know.

No issue. I simply checked the girl in at the reception desk and took her up as usual. This was just two days ago. Plain sailing.

Posts: 498I would suggest that a 5* / 'red' hotel in Dubai now is an exception. In almost 20 years I have yet to experience being turned away with a girl, it used to be the case you had to register the girl most occasions, even that is hardly asked now and especially so post-Covid.
My recent trip I had booked a room for 2, checked in on my own and when I was asked about my guest just joked that would depend on how lucky I got! I was at the Hilton Habtoor which is becoming a firm favourite.

Posts: 343I have a short trip coming up in 3. 5 weeks and it will be at Armani Hotel. Expensive, but apparently there will be WGs also in the lobby / bar at night or clubs nearby so maybe it will be easy pickings. I confirmed twice that they are green and I always wanted to try it anyway.
Previous Lodging:
Jumeirah Living World Trade Center was ok and big, but I need to try something different. It was nice to have a "personal butler" (a 24/7 assistant via whatsapp who will answer all your questions / needs). Stairs are a pain in the ass though. (I booked a duplex). ATM in the lobby so that was great. Green.
Double Tree Hilton M Square was also ok. But the furniture was awful (I booked an apartment) and I saw a few bugs in my room, very off-putting (housekeeping was fast, but the next day you might find another one). ATM right next door so that was good. Green.
The H dubai hotel:
Too far from the meatmarkets but it was green.
I don't know if I will ever find "my perfect go to Dubai hotel" as there are so many that fit my preference: green, 5 star, and downtown. But I will keep searching until I do.

For me, I just need to try something new. However, I did book them again for new years (my other favorite hotels were sold old during that time) which is a testament to how reliable they are even if booking at the last minute.

Hi Fellow Punters.
After a long hiatus I'm back in Dubai for 2 weeks. Just arrived today and checked into my usual and always faithful LE Meridien as planning on going Jules tonight.
However, very disturbing to see they know have a security guy posted just before the lifts. I'm hoping it'll be no problem and will report back if it is. Have any of you guys been here recently and if so any issues?

There is a bed bug problem in Europe currently. Has any heard of any recent bed bug issues in any of the hotels in Dubai?

Hi guys,
I have mongered in Dubai only a couple of times and that too just in Club Moscow. So you can tell that I have an inclination for CIS babes.
I would like to check out the green service apartments / villas for rent. I am seeing quite a few online but would be great if I can get some pointers. Is the experience different than the hotels? Can you guys suggest any discreet ones in the Bur Dubai area?
