Just got back from Linz, had some business in the area and just had to confirm that Peepshow Goethegasse is a terrible venue! I happened to have an opportunity to visit the new Goldentime today, en route to Vienna. It had opened just a few days ago. I was pretty impressed. This seems to me like a next step for FKK. Very elegant, very clever design. Somebody gave it a few thoughts before green lighting construction.

Had the chance to visit the GT Linz Leonding as well. Mixed feelings. I do not agree that this is a "next step for FKK". They seem to have copied the style of Andiamo and Wellcum which is not dumb as those are the 2 best FKKs in Austria. However nothing is a "revolution" there. They took the elements that they knew and put them all into the newly built place. It is nice, it is clean but it is nothing out of the ordinary.

The plus sides are the big rooms that all seem to have a shower in it, the whirlpool close to the sauna and wellness area which definitely is nothing that a copy of the Andiamo design. They have better light solution than in GT Wien. The stage is interesting with a very high dancing pole which could make for great acrobatic shows. The food was good but not to die for. The girls were ok but the real good ones came from Vienna to try it out or because they were forced to be there.

On the outside I saw a pool, it looked good all in all although not huge. The whole club is kinda small which surprised me since they built it from scratch or so I heard.

All in all it has great potential but so far it doesn't yet compare to GT Wien or some of the German FKKs.

I totally agree that the state of Upper Austria was in dire need of a good club and I am positive that they'll run a good and successful business there. It will boil down to the girls, though. The number and the looks and the performance of them. Let's keep an eye out on their progress. GT Linz is less than a 2-hour-drive away from Vienna.

Upper Austria is rich enough to sustain an upscale club like this one, but do its men have the culture for it? I truly hope so.

Got nothing to do with culture. People there have just the same needs as in Vienna. Question is if the GT can build the reputation and regular customer base to bring new people in and the regulars back. Linz and the surrounding area has nothing else to offer that is good in the sex department. People want something new. If the GT does not disappoint then it will be a super success. But outside big cities a reputation can be destroyed just as easily. People there are more habitual and they will not be treated badly more than once. If I was to rate the cultural level of Viennese people compared to the other states of Austria, this would make us (myself included) look pretty bad.

Looking at the Vienna Goldentime website it appears that the company is currently building a new FKK in the Leonding district of Linz. From what I can workout from other buildings in the photos it will be walkable from the Doblerholz tram stop which is currently the end of line 3. I can't see a proposed opening date but I'm guessing about another 3 months or so.
