Yeah, too dangerous IMHO. If you're not already in China, speak Chinese, or familiar with the scene (ie have contacts) , then it's probably better to stay home or look elsewhere.

IMHO these are very very early days.

Yes, KTV's are opening, most with no girls or even Dj's provided; some, mostly out of Chang Ping proper, doing so very very discretely and surreptitiously, and most of them then closing again. Whether because there is just not enough business or that it just got too hot to stay open.

Veggie KTV's and bars like 18 and Cali red are open. With the GA continually checking ID's and what not.

Footsies open but limited to just that, with all body to body contacts strictly verboten. And of course regular checks in-room or through the doors which must now be 70% see-through.

Bbs mommies are quite actively promoting home deliveries. But you are constantly wary knowing that there is an actual RMB 3-4k bounty for those reporting improprieties. And you're of course worried that you're going to be victim of the fake GA gangs sprouting like wild flowers these days. And that is if you don't actually get caught in your hotel room which genuine GA still doing sporadically.

And of course forget about saunas!

Somebody can confirm that this crackdown will take 3 months? We have plans to arrive to CP in March 21 and we already book Clipper Hotel via BSD but if this true we can still shift our presence to.

Guanghzou. I know it's not be the same but I will have almost 20 guys with me and some of them are newbies so I don't want for them memories from crackdown.

In my opinion, I don't see this crackdown ending anytime soon. Heard it might take a few months like in late May, but nobody is 100% sure unless you know some people higher up. Do you have a crystal ball for telling the future? The gov't can't say the crackdown is officially over. The News media will have another field day if that happens.

Remember prostitution is still against the law in China. Guys going to Canton Fair in March and looking for action, I would say very, very, hard to find.

Thank you for your invitations / opinion back up plan. I personally prefer to make a maiden trip to mainland China rather than to visit Macau and or HK. Just too much Westernized cities. That is my own opinion and nothing against Macau & HK. I can always go to Bangkok as a seasoned visitor in that city and feel totally comfy with the entertainments atmosphere.

I have rtff, but I still wonder what do you guys think about the situation a bit further ahead. I was planning a first time trip to Changping, Dongguan and Danshui, Huizhou and possible other places in South China for September. Should I call it off? I am seasoned mongerer in other Asian countries, but in China I have only been a regular tourist before. I am adventurous to try some new places, that's all.

I had plan to visit Changping in May 2014. However, I must call it off due to the big crack down in this situation. I have never been visited to China. My only hope is the adult entertainment will come back alive in Changping by the end of this year.
