Round trip airfare from Shenzhen (SZX) to Nanning (NNG) can be booked on CTRIP. COM for about 1, 200Y or $200 for most days.

However, since this is a new territory without info for locations, prices, quality and services, we need a few bros with good command of Mandarin to scout the locations and report details.

Is Dong Xing in Guang Xi? I went to Guiling and it was pretty westernized with a few coffee shops and university girls all over (or was I in another city?) Not sure.

Arrived Friday afternoon and met BSD, my usual Changping "fixer" who arranged the hotel room (2 nights at 320 renminbi including breakfast for one per day; I recommend this hotel, fair but not cheap by any means, as it is comfortable and convenient. Yes, the Swan Lake and a couple other places are closer to BBS joints, but the Peninsula is still walkable seasonally) ; two nights of KTV and two massage sessions (one a 100-minute body massage at Pozilim, not bad; the second day a two hour foot massage with six other partiers and Dave).

All in, I would say the weekend cost 4400 renminbi, including taxis (the black cabs are what you'll have to take much of the time, but what choice do you have?) , massages, the two KTV parties (roughly 600+ yuan per party, including Dave's fee) , and the 1000 yuan for one girl per night LT*

As the group was small (a young Singaporean fellow and a Chinese guy with a very Boston accent; you know who you are guys, hope all is well!) and Dave picked Tao Yuan, a smaller KTV. I happened to think the flower street, in my opinion, had girls as good looking as any, but I'm not particular and into the tall models like the ethnic Chinese seem to for, so all the better. i'm sure there are these places all over inner china. i can tell you that those 30 rmb st and 100 rmb overnight joints are not very clean and the girls are downright straight from the village.

what's unique about cp is that in the past, many of the wg came from real factories, tricked to be a wg by their deadbeat boyfriends. now all of these factories employed girls from all over china- hunan, hubei, guangxi, guizhou, sichuan, henan, jiangxi, shaanxi etc. as many of these factories are all over dongguan, many of them come to cp to work as wg. thus in cp you get a variety of girls from all over china. there is an advantage to this as you get to see different types of girls from all over. the sichuan girls with their big tits and white skin, the hubei girls with their taller nose bridge features, the shaanxi girls who have a more classical traditional chinese womanly look, henan / anhui with their taller height etc. (these are just stereotypes)

You are correct that perhaps we should migrate to new frontiers. But the problem is I've been to new frontiers and the quality of their girls are not THAT much better than CP. They may be a bit more innocent, but quality and price does not justify.

It would be best just to stick to CP and just pick and choose wisely. As I've stated before CP is trying to upsell big time. Whether or not this can continue is questionable. I have seen that flower streets have less mongers than before- even on Friday and saturdays. So unless KTV management tries to be more reasonable with prices either in their KTV room pricing or girls, it's going to be a downward spiral.

Especially with China's economy and the whole world slowing down in general, we may see a huge hit in CP business in general.
