Yeah, I remember the Village near WuZhong Lu. Those were good days. I'm just glad I could enjoy them as well as CP in it's heyday. It's pretty much over now, only skilled mongers with good language skills have a good chance to get the bargains. 150 is still around, but it a little dangerous. It may be that the best approach is for the tour guide operators, BSD, ISO, and others I don't know about, to band together and just tell the places who have exorbitantly raised the prices, that they are not going to bring their groups there. Then purposely take their groups to the more reasonable places. It just seems to me to get a bunch of horny mongers to act together would be almost impossible. Perhaps the majority of the customers of the establishments in question would not even be aware of a boycott? After all, how many of these even know about ISG, the forums, etc. They are just businessmen and tourists with money to spend on entertainment.

My suggestion is everyone banning together and boycott just ONE weekend. Pick a weekend to let everyone know NOT to go to CP. Spread the news on other forums and word of month. Just one weekend, the city as a together will lose a lot of money. The date should be a few months in advance. It will give people to prepare because many guys might have purchased their plane tickets already. It too late to cancel their trip if it's a short notice.

Bringing a friend is pretty SOP here in China for first dates. So if they say they are bringing a friend you can expect it to be pretty tame as the friend is really there to run interference and to provide a second set of eyes (really second opinion) on if the guy is dateable or not.

Here's some friendly advice. Learn some basic Chinese. The key to having good service is to be able to communicate with the girl, even at a very basic level. Those guys who come back after mastering a few phrases report having overall better service. The other option is to have BSD pick a girl for you who is known to give good service. Unfortunately, there is some skill involved in having a good time in China and there is a steep learning curve if you don't speak Chinese. That's my opinion, in any case good luck to you next time.

I can speak a few words and phases and manage to communicate on a very basic level. I also use the translator and find that really helps. If you can, outline the skill you are talking about and the, learning curve. Do you think they are used to more aggressive men? As an American we are unfortunately used to being somewhat controlled by our women and open doors, ask what they want and treat them mostly with respect as an equal.

I usually do the KTV thing and pick my girl, and while not hitting a home run every time, more often than not, very satisfactory! I have a regular KTV girl when necessary.
