I saw the peninsula hotel is offer room for 25 usd a night dirt cheap, back in the hay days there are over 700 hotel and hostel in this small town most of them is closed or for sales now for cheap now anyone want to gamble if they end the crack down.

The red rope is a novelty thing of the past Oldphart, although you may be lucky to find it in some more remote parts of China but I'll wouldn't bet on it. Unfortunately As for saunas in DG some of them are still open but lots, of these open are operating on low profiles and invitation or appointment mode only. You need a regular to bring you in.

I have just relocated to the PRC from Siam for the foreseeable future.

A Chinese acquaintance has told me that Dongguan used to be sin city but has been cleaned up. Some articles I Googled verify this. I quickly scanned some posts in this thread and didn't notice anything about it.

I live in the north, but I was hoping to make it south once during my stay.

So, forgive a stupid question, but are red rope shows and palatial saunas a thing of the past in Dongguan?

I will have a biztrip with my bosses to Hongkong in next week. I heard that Hongkong is so expensive, so I am intending take my bosses to Dongguan in 1 night. Due to the tight schedule, after the meeting, we only have 1 night and a half of next day for free before moving to next city.

Do you have any suggestions which is faster to go from Hongkong to Dongguan?

And I really need your advises about the place (the best place) I should bring my bosses. I heard that Sauna is great, and I also want to select girl directly, not via photo. Please recommend me some good sauna.

And also the price, how much it will cost? I heard that 600 RMB /120 m / mid-class girl and 900 RMB /120 m / high class girls. Are they right?

I concur with the RTFF. Even if Dongguan were not in the grip of Shitping's Era of Troubles you'd still need to run a cost-benefit analysis (got PRC visas? Train schedules, etc. -- and having only one day, etc.), it would not be great for a one-day deal. If you're in Hong Kong get thee to Macau. If you're a skinflint, troll Temple Street or the 141 knocking shops.

What year is this? RTFF. You may get the sack. The whole place is very low profile. If you do not know the scene, you may get yourself and your boss in trouble.

I miss it all too: the girls, all my old friends and fellow mongers to hang out with, the chicken runs at well stocked BBS, the massive flower streets at KTV, the lineups and 18 course menu at the saunas, the catacombs, "Pink Color! Etc.

As most of you know, I am now in CA paying $120 for half an hour FS and $80 for a he from 30+ yo milfs.
