Indeed, the pickup game here isn't too terribly difficult if you're relatively good looking and fun. For the 4-s, WeChat or TanTan works, but you usually need to put in several weeks. If they add you and keep talking for 2-3 days, that's a real good sign. I just wanted to give an update on what I'm seeing and am curious if there are any other long-time expats here in Hangzhou that'the be willing to share notes on places to go for some good old fashioned 4 p4.

Up until June of this year, Hangzhou was flush with opportunities. Though the classic pink / blue light shops have been in decline since 2015, there were plenty of nooks and crannies that hid full service shops from view. If you knew the neighborhoods and what cues to look for, they could certainly be found. That, however, has changed. The main stronghold (over by ZJUST "GongDa") housed hundreds of girls and was the HQ for nearly all the WeChat girls, massage parlor girls, and was a fantastic place to go before hours to catch the girls at a huge discount. But as said, that entire area (about 2 sq mile+/ was totally torn out, taking with it what seems to be the network that managed the city's P4P options. As it was closing down, I did attempt to get to know the girls and the mama sans a little better to see what was going to happen next, but from what I could gather, they were just shutting down for good or moving to another city in a hurry. They were all pretty tight lipped and in a rush. From the twenty or so places that I knew of, including that HQ neighborhood, only two low profile pink light places still exist.

As for the tamer services, yes a handful still do exist. Update (29.9.17)- Unfortunately, over recent weeks, there's been a police crackdown on Spas and MPs in Hangzhou, which has affected the establishment mentioned above, so much so, that they are not offering any sexual services for the next few months.
