Most KM hotels have saunas. The more expensive the basic room rate and number of stars on the hotel, the nicer the girls. Although service is hit or miss as most lurkers should know. Good signs are the concierge/greeter/hawker. Especially if he's male. Special massage services range from ¥268 up to over ¥800. Not including the two girl special. If you don't like the lineup. Don't hesitate to ask for another lineup. Just be as polite as you can.

If you don't speak any mandarin. Use translate. Google.com and type in your lurid requirements (but be BRIEF) like large breasts, shaved, unshaved, etc etc (where is sextranslate. Google.com?). Also. Make sure you bring the printout which says SPECIAL SERVICE. I suggest you go through the scenario and type up a script. The saunas offer many types of rooms (it's really like a hotel) so you can either start luxury or start cautious. But most saunas the room rate is determined by the service cost. Also beware the upsell. They'll chat with you and try to trick you into add-ons (like extra time, extra service, etc). Don't be fooled. Include that in your script. No upsells (use simple english though). And just in case. Be prepared for a double biller just in case. But most importantly. Enjoy yourself and the experience!

If you're a company guest on a BUYING trip. And you've got the guts. Mention to your host (privately and discreetly) you'd like to visit a sauna. They'll usually treat you and be relieved you're somewhat familiar with local sales processes. But only do this if you're seriously prepared to buy.

Also. If you're extraordinarily well equipped. Bring your own condoms as the local varieties may be a little snug. And as always. BE POLITE. Sugar gets more honey than a donkey hole with a credit card. Most of the girls you'll meet are from the minorities. So chat with them. If you can. Treat them like human beings. Include this in your script so the owner knows not to send in girls whom you'll split into pieces.

Yuxi is close to Kunming, only about an hour on the bus. There were bbs there last time I looked but I have not tried them.

Long LIng in Baoshan has an active BBS street. I have tried one. FS for 200

Dali Old Town has some BBS on the street parallel to Yangren Jie. I have not tried these.

Ruili has dozens of BBS and Massage places offering FS for 200 - 300.

I have seen street hookers in Jianshui but have not tried them.

I would like to hear from others.

If your going to travel outside Kunming try Qu Jing they have express trains running every 1.5 hours for a 3 hour round trip. I saw BBS located both sides of 50 - 100 Bei Lu. The girls in the BBS on the even numbered side of the street appeared to be younger and more attractive, with the ladies on the odd side older, but more enthusiastic.

There is plenty available in Kunming, but not the quality you may be used to in more populous areas of China. Just read through the old Kunming postings.

I hope to visit Dali and Lijiang in a couple months. Where can I find BBSes? Any in Old Dali or must I go to Xiaguan? I don't know Lijiang at all.

If you stay at a high end hotel, girls find out. BBSes are less common.

In general, areas with a high concentration of migrant laborers come with BBSes. They are afterall tacitly allowed by authorities to service migrant laborers.

As for working girls, money talks everywhere in china. Old town lijiang bars are full of WGs. And you get calls from girls when you are in your room in Dali and Lijiang !

Went to Sunshine Sauna about 2/3 years ago about 4:00pm in the afternoon.
Negotiated down to 400RMB. They showed me a line-up of about 5 girls. All
rated 8s and above.

VIP room had full size mirror on one wall by king size bed. Plus a large rubber ball, you see in gyms or work out rooms.

She gave me a good wash and started with BJ and then on to multiple positions. We used the large rubberball for doggystyle. The bounce back effect was excellent. She even relaxed with a cigarette afterwards. LOL

This is the business card and a photo showing the front entrance to the sunshine sauna in Beijinj lu, Kunming, Just up the road from the railway station. Ideal if you've come in to Kunming via rail from other parts of China. It's connected to an up market hotel if you want something flash or you can use one of the many cheaper hotels in the street and go into the sauna via the separate entrance without the need to enter the hotel lobby. If you look closely at the admittedly poor quality photo you'll see an elevator at the end of the short corridor which takes you up to the sauna proper. Unfortunately in my short stay in Kunming this time I didn't get a chance to sample the ladies on offer, it has the reputation for being the most expensive at 700rmb+ but may well be worth the cost.
