This is really just a report of a semi-failed experience and a confirmation for myself that you don't need to see this stuff on the street to get some action.

I was walking near dayanta at night after having one of those Tang period drinks on the main tourist walking strip. Still easily sober. He gets starts driving and I'm expecting some good stuff. He says there's been a crackdown lately, drops me off in front of this multi level shop and a guy guides me in. The problem is that they don't take foreigners. I'm already dressed in those one time shirts and shorts and they tell me to leave when the manager comes in to see me. I'm as foreign as one could look in China so I'm guessing that was the problem.

Regardless, this experience was the third time a taxi driver helped me out. You just have to hop into the right cab at night.

To make it easy:

The Miaopotou Lu (Rd) is a rather small road in Qujiang, about 1000 meters from the Great Wild Goose Paddle (south).

This road crosses the Yan Nan Si (4th) Lu.

For the taxi driver: 庙22369;22836;36335;21475;27839;21335;22235;36335;.

At this intersection, turn south into Miaopotou Lu (there is a road sign), it is the smaller of the two roads.

After about 100 meters you will see a few small street restaurants on the right and a larger hotel on the left. There is only one hotel there.

If the road goes up, you are going in the wrong direction.

Right next to the hotel is the Massage Shop.

Visiting, so I tried this place. Lady offered me a card for 1400 for 2 visits. Seems like there were only 2 girls available. One was fine enough, but I decided to see more and wait. 2nd was not good. Nothing came of it. First girl came back in. Went for it. Underwhelming with clothes off. Total damage was like "699" + some extras I didn't quite get. Total damage was 800 kuai. Big meh.

Also tried to find the "expensive place" talked about below on Zhongmao Lu / Nanguan Lu (this street doesn't exist near there unless I was at the wrong Ibis) . All I could find was a 2nd floor spa that didn't offer extras. Spent about an hour looking around. Even asked the attendants if they knew of this place. They didn't.

Also also went to the spot on Furong Xi Lu / Yan Nan 4th. Closed. Shame because it looks cool. Added the weixin of the # on the door, and got no response.

Total bust so far for me. Great good tho.

I don't know if this a real crackdown. I guess it depends on the region. In the old city center things are changing all the time.

I am a regular guest in 4 massage shops.

All offer massage with blow jobs, 3 fully nude, 1 including hydromassage.

The price is around 500, with 20-50% discount on a membership card.
These massage shops have rooms that resemble a better middle class hotel, sometimes even better than this.

The most expensive is the one with water massage. The girls have numbers and there are photos. I would rank them 6-8.

For 700 there are 2 hours, changing clothes (stockings), strip show, round waterbed, two shots, lick and finger at will.

If you are friendly to the girls in the other shops and come back, you get full service without extra charge, because that's what the sometimes girls want, who are mostly treated badly by their guests.

Of these 4 shops two are still in the same place, one shop has moved four streets away and 1 shop has been closed, but for other reasons.

You have to go inside and walk up the stairs.

One floor higher you are already awaited.

They are very friendly, but don't speak English.

In case of emergency they will translate there with the telephone.

Just sit down on one of the sofas and take off your shoes.

The shoes will be picked up and a key with number will be handed over.

You will not be asked what you want there.

A girl will lead you to one of the rooms, which all have a large double bed.

Next to the bed is the price list. They have really good massages!

But the specialities are not listed there.

Tell or show the girl 500 RMB (topless, hand job) or 600 RMB (blow job).

She will then understand.

She will probably offer you a customer card. It is available from 1000 RMB and has a value of 1300 RMB. So 2 x blowjobs and something else left.

So, I went to the famous Ibis Heping place. The hotel is no more, but the building is still there and easily recognizable. So is the spa.

Unfortunately, it seems completely veggie, at least in my case. Zero English spoken, not even an English menu. Was escorted to a room by a guy and quoted 188. Got actually very nice professional massage. That's all.

The girl did try to speak to me, but unfortunately my Mandarin is nonexistent.

I asked the taxi guy why that happened and he said it's because I am a foreigner and that foreigners have big dicks and stay to long in bed. I was shocked.

This is common, especially outside the foreigner heavy areas. I would say don't let it get you down. It's an objection that can be easily overcome.

1. keep a good vibe from the beginning, be sure to have a good smile, easy-going feeling.

2. address it directly by saying "it's not so big" or "we can do it slowly" or "I'll put half of it in" or whatever.

3. do actually avoid problems by being careful with positions and speed. Don't hit it too deep to fast. Start slow and let her set the pace.

4. they will sometimes say you have to pay extra. Don't agree to a laowai tax. I will say "if you don't like it then I'll pay extra afterwards" then make sure she likes it.

I get objections all the time but have not been straight-up denied for many years.
