I think it was Fenghuang hotel. Irregardless, there are alot of hotels along Chaoyang Lu so a reservation is hardly necessary.

That filthy alley, hmmm how do I describe its location? Ok, from Chaoyang Lu with the railway station ahead of you and the big river behind your back, you'll turn right at the major traffic juction where the bus terminal is.

1. Go along this road and it'll lead you to all the beauty parlors.
2. BUT right u walk past the bus terminal (on your left) until you get to an intersection without traffic lights, then turn LEFT.
3. More beauty parlors along this road too.
4. Now AFTER you turn LEFT, slow down and check for people walking in and out of an alley on the left side of the road.
5. This should be the place.

The brothels are very narrow but they go 3-4 stories high and if you're tall, stoop down and watch your head. I knocked myself silly twice on the way up to the 3rd floor.

i was in nanning recently and was booked into ming hua hotel for about 400rmb for a night. i got a danky room and checked out the next day. found me a very nice clean room along chaoyang rd by walking in one of the many hotels located near the train station for 145rmb a night.

the women in nanning were pretty ok looking with lots of 6s 7s and 8s, but few stunners. the sex was pretty ok and all hotels seem to have their own in-house health/beauty center. the going rate for full service including massage seemed to be like 300rmb

on the next road to chaoyang rd where the bus depot was, i found many 'beauty' parlors with nice girls mostly asking for 100 to 150rmb for a quickie on the premises. along this road there was a tiny no-name alley with 7 or 8 filthy brothels. had me a quickie there just for the experience for 80 rmb, never again. the smell of [CodeWord109] and soiled matress was unbearable.

Report from Nanning : The Yongjiang hotel area does not exist anymore. Don't bother.
Xinzhu Road is still in the business, plus 2 side streets, with half a douzen barbershops, all Sichuanese. Quality not too bad. Take away is no problem, althought they insisted to be paid first, which I usually refuse strongly. 150 Y to 200 Y for ST. If you want BJ, make it clear beforehand.
In the train station area, a lot of barbershops with quite pro-active girls, but 90 percent of them would performe only HJ in the premisses.

Anybody has ever been to Yulin, near Nanning ? Any info on the scene here ?
In south Guangxi, I recommand Beihai, where you can always find barbershops, even if you need to search a bit, depending on the period.
There used to be a huge brothel area in Fangchenggang, the large harbour area of Fangcheng, some time ago. I am not sure if it still exists. Definitly worth checking.
