Alright so I checked out chengnan road and the few alley ways around it on 2 seperate nights to see if it lives up to the hype. I do realize right now is a bad time due to the Chinese new year holidays.

I can confirm that chengnan middle road as of right now has absolutely nothing going on. Most of the action is on chengnan east road near chezhan (bus stop) south road.

Starting at the intersection on chezhan south road and chengnan east road, head west on chengnan east road. Within 200 meters, there are 6 bbs, each had 2-4 shaojie, looks range from 3ish – 8, age is probably 20ish – 50something LOL, those were the 3s. Picked one I liked, rate was $230, I didn't bother with trying to bargain. She was quite talkative, and very friendly. No BJ or massage, straight to business, service was a little rushed. However overall, I was quite satisfied due to the price as well as her personality and looks.

Continue walking west on chengnan east road, take the first possible left into a well lit alley way. I believe its called amiliang road. Not 100% sure. This alley way was very interesting. Along with bbs, if you look for it, there are pink lights coming from people's apartments (ground level) I just looked inside, didn't actually go in, the 3 that I saw all had only 1 lady in it. There were also 2 sex shops open with pink lights as well.

Walk all the way down the alley, there are about 4 bbs, each had around 6-7 shaojie, all looked about 7ish, age 19-mid 20s (or so I thought). Before we start, I am an americanized asian and I was able to get around just fine with a basic level of mandarin (very limited volcabulary) plus some help from google translate.

After reading Just Seven's Due Diligence part 2, I realized my hotel is just a 15min walk from xiangchun lu, so I decided to check it out. It was around 11:15pm when I got there. As Just Seven mentioned, the BBS did not have pink lights, but it's very obvious and hard to miss. About 7 BBS were open, each had between 3-7 girls. Looks (face) ranged between 6-8, there was a 9, but she seems to have a bitchy attitude. Age range from 19-27ish, but it's very hard to tell with these asians.

After speaking with them, they can easily tell that I was a foreigner, so I was quoted laowai prices, hard to bargain. Prices ranged from 150 for half hour to 400 for 3 hours, limited pops based on how much you pay. Unlike Just Seven's experience, all of these BBS had onsite rooms. Most of them were surprised that I wanted takeaway, I was concerned cause I saw 3 LE drive down this street.

The BBS on this street is def not non-asian friendly, all the girls I spoke to will not have sex with non-asians, and they were concerned that I was hired by a caucasian to do the negotiations when I asked about takeaway.

The girl that I picked was kind of shy in bed, unexperienced, no foreplay or BJ, just straight to business. Overall I was somewhat satisfied with the experience, but most likely will not repeat with the BBS on this street. I will check out chengnan lu on a future night and report here.

If you go to some of the hotels here, they will have name cards that are places that furnish girls.

Only Chinese is spoken on these lines. They also knew that I had a foreign accent, and was afraid that I would hurt the girls. I got out of it by telling them that I was a Korean and looked just like a Chinese men- and could be mistaken for one but for my accent. They had three tiers of service. University student. Older than university student. Younger than university student. I got her number and she said that she would meet me on her own time (and I have found that all three of the girls that I met were willing to give me their phone number and meet me under the mamasan's radar) , but she turned out to be flaky. When I wanted to meet at my apartment, she started asking for something like 700 for 2 shots (hahaha) and then whining about how it was too far away in a taxi (it was a 15 minute ride in the taxi and 32RMB going and another 32 coming). All in all, I would not recommend a repeat of this. (And it only took me 3 times to learn that.) It would work out cheaper to save your money and go to either Zhuzhou or Changde (Zhuzhou is about 15 minutes away by train) and Changde is 2 hours away- but it's a city that is far away enough that the prices / anonymity make up for it.

Ok, so I got here and immediately I started to feel weary, people didn't seem all that friendly but girls were smiling at about 50% ratio. Better than 20% in Shenzhen I guess. I got a good hotel room next to Xifu Road and Yueyang alley because there were a few BBS's there, But the quality is not the greatest.
