I have not found anything on my own in Beilun. I am often a guest at Karaoke and that is always fun and plenty of girls are thrown in as part of the evening's entertainment so I don't often have the urge to go looking locally. That is why I traveled to Ningbo when I had some free time. Of course, all the hotels in Beilun usually have room service although you have to sometimes search for the hidden beauty shop. I have also seen barber shops around but have never tired any. I am not too fond of the fast-food aspect.

I travel to Bailun frequently but never have the time to travel to the city of Ningbo. Well Friday I finally did so off I went with an insane taxi driver who, after telling him I wanted to get their quickly, drove like a mad man. It was kin o’ fun though!

So I arrived at the hotel, took a left in the lobby and found the elevators where the sign directed me to the sauna. The elevator had five other guys in it, all headed to five! I was whisked into the sauna area, relaxed, showered and hit the action center. I was met and led to a bedroom by one girl and she was to be my date. No line up and no opportunity. Now I could have asked for another girl but it was plain that I was not going to get a line up. This girl was a solid 6 but had a nice personality so I went with the flow. I had passed the girl’s waiting room and I could see a few of them sitting around and I had also passed a few during my movements from the elevator to the bedroom. Only one was very impressive in my eyes. No mamasan around, just the one who I was now getting the menu from. She wanted 1050 Yuan for the whole deal including the sauna. I got her down to 925 since I was a hotel guest (which of course I was not!) Not a great bargain compared to Shanghai saunas.

Her service was great however with no spot un-licked. Ifind it strange that they will often lick your arse and then put a condom on your cock for a blow-job. Anyway, all the usual fire and ice, vibrator, etc.

The sauna area was OK, not nearly as nice as some in Shanghai and the rooms were also so, so. I will go back I am sure but really this place from my one experience was nothing to write home about. Then again, if I ever did I’d be in real deep shit no matter how great the experience!

It was my first visit to Hangzhou, from where I travelled towards Ningbo. My supplier was located in Cixi City, I am sure many of businessmen somehow arrive this city, where soon the bridge connecting to Shanghai will land in.

I stayed in this five star hotel, Shenshi Bridge Hotel, said to be the best around, cannot complain.

I arrived late, reached KTV, asked the guy and mamasan to fix me a lady, as I am not fond of musical interval spent. He understood what I wanted, and lead me through a series of mysterious stairs and corridors to the sauna, but directly to private rooms, behind the Spa.

I made my choice out of a series of 5-6 ladies introduced, and started to screw here right away in the room. She then tried to get a shower and make some massage. But that would not be enough. After refuelling, I asked her to BBBJC, which took around half an hour.

Total damage 600+100, no tip, no room charge, lady 6-7, service 7-8. I cannot complain.

I suggest you take a chance, I am sure admittance via KTV gate, without staying in a room is possible.

I have just arrived at the Nanyuan and though of trying the local delicacies and I thought I would give a quick recount of my experiences. I haven't been to the 5th Floor sauna yet, but I found out they charge 1500RMB for room delivery and about 1200 for eat in, almost double what I have become used to in the rest of China.

There is a 'new' hotel called the Mirage which is very central and just opposite the Cathedral, which charges 700 'in' and 800 'delivered', but they refused to let me check the goods ahead of purchase, which I thought odd so I passed by.

I got a bit lazy and asked the doormen at the NY to find me some chicken and they were very enthusuastic about it and came up with a very pretty girl who was also described as sweet which I now realise means 'no good in bed'. She was indeed 'sweet' but not in the tasty way. I would advise giving the door men a miss although they were very nice, this episode flushed 800RMB down the toilet.

I am getting the feel that Ningbo is expensive and spoiled relative to other cities in China, if any of you more experienced guys have any tips I would be obliged.

Just back 2 weeks ago from NIngbo. THe massage on the 3rd floor is like other reports say, pretty good indeed. I got myself the NanYuan Vip card, which brings the price for the basic massage down to around 229 RMB, + 200 tip for the girls for special service.

Only problem is that the girl i had did not speak any English, but the result was as expected.

I will go back mid January and spend another week at the NanYuan.

There are two separate venues in the NanYuan but they can be tricky to find if you're tentaitve about exploring.

1. The first is the Massage Spa (honestly, I don;t remember what it's called.) It is on the third floor and is about 20 yards past the piano bar. If it makes it easier, it is exactly above the eating/lounge area where brreakfast is served. While sitting in that area, if you look up towards the very high ceilings, you'll see a walkway that leads right to the spa. Taking the elevator next to the dining area is easiest. This place offers a very good massage and hj for (90 min?) and you tip the girl 200. This was mentioned in a previous post.

2. The second and by far better venue is the Sauna on the 5th floor. This is the NanYuan "Sauna" that has been reviewed multiple times in this thread. To get there, you need to take the main elevators that are to the left side once you enter the front entrance of the hotel. Look for the cafe/restaurant that is in this direction and the elevators are right next to it. Take the elevators to the 5th floor and it opens up to the Sauna. The Sauna takes up the entire floor. Trust me, this place is a winner as noted in previous posts.

Massage is 280rmb , great massage but u will always also get a 'happy ending'. Need to tip the girl 200rmb for the pleasure.

I'm an regular to Ningbo and ofcourse checked every corner of the Nan Yuan
(KTV, massage, bars, etc.)

And I haven't seen anything like some posters say about this otherwise great hotel.

Can anybody tell me anything about this hotel's sauna etc.?

I had a bad experience at Nan Yuan earlier this year: No BBBJ, no rimming, ect.
