I was looking through some old folders on my hard drive and found a picture from the glory days of 150 RMB Yunhe Lu BBS with probably 30+ girls aged 19-34 who were mostly really hot available out in the open even on a Sunday afternoon. The very end of 2015 maybe. I have a feeling not, but still part of me hopes that police are just too busy with other things like maybe enforcing health codes and sanitation at markets / food service places. They might be focused on actually protecting us from disease and poor hygiene rather than from victimless activities between two or more consenting adults. More likely they'll just continue cracking down on both and it won't let up, but a man can dream.

I made friends with one of the bosses at the panli lu BBS area. They have decent veggie massage there for 100 rmb I stop in for once in a while because the girls available for other services are just too fat, old, and ugly. I have been refused entry to all Suzhou dance halls recently. Lanbao and Jinza already refused me early January but later also Tuanqiejiao wouldn't let me enter. I am not Asian looking although speak reasonable well Chinese.

I tried my luck in Wuxi, just 10 minutes away but high speed train. The Lianrong dance hall in Jiefang Xi Lu 12 is not so big but there are some nice women who will also join you to nearby hotels.

As there is so little about Changsu (not Changzhou), which is named as Changsu, Suzhou but is actually 60 km away from Suzhou and almost as big as the latter. Most long noses will stay in the Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza, which is a bit isolated, so grab a cap if you can find it and venture out. In case you try to use google or Apple maps to locate the hotel, forget it. It is in the northeast of the city besides the huge sport complex. No idea why the search function of both map apps is not able to locate this. Anyway now you know.

First do not try to find Dongmen Lu, it does not exist. Qhinhu Lu does, however action is limited to two open MPs and two or three shady KTV, one kicked me out, the other the owner claimed only sing and drink and offered to accompany me, which I friendly declined. I am pretty sure both are naughty KTV, but maybe not for foreigner and being alone I did not want to go are the risk..

Yep. I went to MeiMei a few days back and had a good experience. The place was much more packed than usual; middle aged / elderly chinese men have been yearning for their fix and girls have been out of work. The male: female ratio was considerably less favorable than in the past, which I think is probably because a lot of the dance hall girls already moved and found new work elsewhere. I remember about summer 2018 it was like 3 girls:1 guy in the afternoon at meimei. Now it was maybe 1.2 or 1. 5:1.

Prices may vary from place to place and from the time of the evening. But in the last 12 m bar fine was still 100 rmb, but the salaried portion can be from under one K to 2 k depending on the girls self-assessment and market condition.

I also believe that cameras are installed all around the dance areas. So free roaming isn't as open as it once was. Many of the girls have been out of work for months so a few are willing to do take outs. As for how much, it's as much as you are willing to pay. You will have to haggle considering there is no set price and every girl works for themselves.
