You actually do not need to go out of hotel to find what you want. In Suzhou, almost every hotel has its own beauty salon. Check the hotel phone directory to find the number to call. If you simple call in, they will send one to your room. Normally, the girls in the salon are in line. You can reject the one sent to your room and request another one. However, I would suggest you call them to ask for the location. Then you go there to pick up the one you like the most. The price should be flat, about 700 yuan for a full service, massage, hand/oral, and straight for about an hour. The girl need to turn in about 250 yuan to the owner of the salon. If you get along with a girl very well, you can make an apointment with the girl for a night. You have to make the appointment in advance, at least before 2:30PM, when they will report to work. If you make appointment before that time, the girl can get excuse for not report to work. Then she will not be required to submit 250 yuan per hour or 400 yuan per night to the owner. The girl is willing to pass the saving to you in most of the time if you get along with her well. So the first thine first is be respect the girl.

On a project here in Suzhou for a week, and I have the following to offer

Went to the Karaoke near the walking mall on Guan Qian and Lin Dun Lu. Kind of high class place. Was taken by my host, so not sure the cost, but likely expensive. Picked a nice fresh faced girl, and did the singing thing ( my speciality)! Girl was a not available type for post singing action, but was offered a girl with a great body but less attractive to me overall, so I agreed. It turned into an 'interesting' type event as I found out that she was 'a few bricks shy of a load', or we might say 'intelectually challenged' - basically kinda low IQ. Sex was OK but less fun than a lot of BBS girls I have done. Cost was picked up by my host, who handed me a wad of cash to give the girl when finished. One question, would it be safe in the area of BBS you mentioned? The last time my colleague went to ShangHai BBS to get full service, but unfortunately, the police raided the place and my friend got caught on the spot. Eventually, he paid the police and they let him go. (I doubt that's real.) but anyhow if it's real to me, what shall I do? And I always heard of the girls will ask for "extra" tips after the session ends, which is more than the price agreed before the session started. How to prevent it to be happened?

But if you are unlucky in both bars.. then the best place to head to is Point Zero bar. In there.. there are some nice young girls there...the last time I was there, it seems that the mamasan has changed her old fleet to new ones, but if it is past midnight...Negotiate the price... Generally, they will bring you upstairs in a small room... have not tried the new fleet.. the old fleet was quite good with BBBJCIM and finish off with full service. They would ask you for RMB 400. but negotiate to a lower rate. They will accept Rmb 300 the lowest with full service.

If you are more into BBS stuff. On Guangi Lu.. that is the road leading to the train station... there are quite a few there. Walking on the main road towards the train station , you would see them seating behind those sliding window. The going rate as I used a few is Rmb 200 with CBJ and full service. I used only one BBS as a regular customer there.. So I get some extras sometimes.

Omg..! This is totally crap! I argued with the guy saying that is this my bill? He started to explain what it was so expensive. The bill was included the tax of the government, snacks, beers and the facilities. The most ridiculous was the 1300Y included the tax of the street, WTH is this?

Well, no one to blame, I was a newbie and didn't ask for the price before the session actually started. So I paid the bill eventually. The chick, Lin Jie, sent me down and promised to wait for me at the motel nearby named Da fu hao. She didn't show up eventually. That's was really a bad experience for me. So I'm here to to advise fellow mongers out there take precaution when you visit to the karaoke. And I wish to get some advices from mongers out there. I will visit Kun Ming on next Wed until Sat. Oh, my poor friend.

This happened to me last year. The bill was 1400RMB plus. What we do is one of my frends make excuse (don't have enough money and need to go to the ATM) to get out of the place and call 110 (The policeman). After the police came, we only paid 200RMB. When you face this kind of thing, don't be afraid and call the police. The police is willing to help you. Bring a local go there is always a good solution.

Thanks guys for the info - I visited Suzhou recently and based on reports here decided to try Zero Point Bar. Wandered in and was treated very nicely by the girls and mamasan (whose name I forget - Lisa?- but who speaks pretty good English).

I was in Suzhou for an overnight trip a couple of weeks ago, my first visit in about a year. Last time I was there I stayed at the New City Garden Hotel and couldn’t find any action in house or even in town. Of course I could have gone to a nightclub and took a girl back to my room, but I wasn’t in the mood for that.

This time around I stayed at the Sheraton, a great hotel. Brother Lucky 888 wrote in June about the suspicious situation at the health centre, so I decided to investigate a little. At about 10pm I called up the health centre and asked for an in-room massage service, but was told by the guy at the other end of the line that their masseuses could not go to the guest rooms. I thought that was the end of the story, and called my wife at home to chat about our son and other things. Half way through our conversation someone rang the doorbell. I opened the door and there stood a young girl of about 22-24, medium built, good-looking but not exceptional, and she asked me if I wanted a massage. There was no way I could get her into my room, and so I just said no and shut the door. I went back to the phone and my wife asked what was going on. I had to lie that it was housekeeping checking if I needed to turn down my bed. She thought it was strange that housekeeping would come so late, but didn’t seem to be overly suspicious. After a while we hanged up, and I immediately called the health centre and asked for an in-room service, telling the same guy that a moment ago a girl came to knock on my door offering a massage service. So, what is going on here? I suspect the health centre only offers straight massage service. But someone will get information about guests who need in-room (and therefore extra) services, perhaps from the health centre guy, or from the operator who listens in? It appears that you only need to declare your need to the health centre, and somehow this will be fulfilled.

After the two-minute lecture by the health centre guy I waited in my room for about half an hour hoping that the girl would somehow get the message and come back. I was out of my luck, however, and so I decided to go out to cruise the bars, as suggested by SeattleMan and Michi, among others.

I took a cab to Shiquan Road and strolled down the street. Business was kind of slow, probably because it was Sunday night. I went into Point Zero, which was probably the busiest of the bars, but it was smoke-filled and everybody seemed very busy so I bowed out after standing at the door for about 20 seconds. I walked down the street to Milano and it was completely dead – no customer at all. The mamasan was very keen and took me upstairs to one of the three small rooms. She explained that there is a 50 yuan room charge that include a non-alcoholic drink and a 100 yuan charge for a girl to keep me company. I agreed and sat down, and in a while she brought me a glass of tea. (One thing I really hate about China – perhaps with the exception of Guangdong – is that they always serve you tea in a tall glass rather than a cup made of china. This is silly because the water is so hot you can hardly hold the glass). Presently a girl came in, but she was so ordinary looking and her questions/comments were so predictable that I quickly lost all interest in staying. I paid my due and left quickly. That’s 150 yuan down the drain.

On my way to the bar street I saw a big sauna sign and so I decided to try my luck there. I hopped on a cab and in a few minutes arrived at this two-storey building with a big parking lot in front of it. The place has a sauna and a foot massage centre on the ground floor, and a KTV on the second floor. I opted for the sauna, and was told to remove my shoes at the cashier’s counter. The receptionist gave me a pair of slippers, and instructed me to go down the hall into the sauna area. There I gave up my slippers and went into the locker room barefooted. After changing I went to take a quick shower and was then ushered to the lounge where I was served a tea. I told the waiter that I wanted a massage right away as it was already midnight.

A minute later a tall and slim girl approached me and told me to follow her to the massage room. As we walked up the staircase I kept my eyes fixed on her nice long legs only partially covered by a mini skirt. Very promising sign, I thought. We walked down several corridors on the second floor and came to a very quiet section with five or six massage rooms. Inside the dimly lit room was a double bed for Thai massage and a cupboard. My masseuse placed a large towel on the bed, removed my pajamas (but leaving my shorts on) and told me to get on bed. She then explained that she could offer me a body massage, an ice-fire and/or full service. The whole package was about 1,000 yuan. It was a bit high for a place decorated to the standard of a four-star hotel, but not unacceptable, so I agreed to a full service package. She then went out to get the hot and cold water and hot towels.

I can no longer remember her name or number. She was quite pretty and her body was excellent, with fairly substantial tits though not very big. The good thing about her is that she’s very co-operative and I managed to stripe her naked before she got on bed to do the massage for me. This was the first naked massage (before having sex) I’ve ever had at a sauna place. Her massage skill was good but not exceptional, though sex was great.

The next day as I left town I realised that this place was on the same street as the Sheraton. As you go out of the hotel you just turn right and the sauna place is two blocks away but on the other side of the street.
