East China - Suzhou

This is not about SuZhou but Wuxi which is close enough in my book. I had been there a few time so I knew where most of the places were. The main point of interest was the cat house next to the new district hospital. There are a row of BBSs behind a tall set of bushes across the side street next to an apartment complex. The last one on the right was the main one with quite a few girls, but definately not western friendly and I am quite sure I was the first long nose there. They kept trying to use hand signals for asking things and I would reply in pretty good Chinese what I wanted. It was pretty funny. They sent in a nice girl and had the pretty much expected service for 300 rmb. In fact it was 280 and I am sure I could have pushed for 250 but as a first time there, I find it best to go the extra couple of bucks as it makes the things much easier next time. The last 20 was the girl asking in a very cute way for the tip, as she was SO HAPPY about it, it made me LOL, and was worth 20 rmb.

There are also massage shops downtown near the Ramada, but can only get HJ there and costs 240 or more. There are a bunch of small BBS but they are bit too run down and the talent is only so so, so I would recommend going to the 'Xing chu yi yuen' and hunt around as that shop did have maybe 15 to 12 girls. If I go back I will do a bit more shopping there to see if there is any real good lookers.

Just an update and more details on the place mentioned below where I screwed the girl in the bar. The place in Meng Yuan on Shi Quan Jie. I've been back to screw the girl twice since first report below. She has gotten to calling me and texting me a bit too much. She has even wanted to come to my hotel at 4 or 5am or whatever awful hour she gets off work.

I have also tried a couple other bars on the north side of Shi Quan Jie but no success.

There is a bar at the "end" of Shi Quan Jie (end of the bar area anyway), on the street that connects SQJ down to the Bamboo Grove Hotel. Anyway, this place is call the "<something> Flower" bar, and it has a great setup inside with private rooms. When I was there on a Friday night, however, there was only 1 girl about the place, and the owner/manager/mama was pissed at my curiosity/nosy-ness, and said "this isn't a museum." So I left. Somebody should check it out though.

Suzhou success in a bar!

Finally had a great succes one night last week. Strolled down the north side of Shi Quan Jie, walking east from Feng-something-Lu (the N-S street that is one block east of Renmin Lu). The first bar is called Sui Yuan. I eventually ended up in the next one, called Meng-something-bar. Sorry I don't remember the names better.

So go into the bar with a cutie and get one beer and one soda and we start chatting. I ask to see what's upstairs and took a look. Facility looked possible for doing the deed. Small rooms with sliding door with some clear glass windows, but overall very dark place. Back downstairs, the girl asks if I want to go upstairs for a massage. Eventually clarified that she wasn't going to give anything other than HJ, so I told her I should probably pay and go. Just then, another girl approched me on the side, and I used one hand to start rubbing her legs and crotch while I continued to talk to the first girl (and loudly tell her I wanted more than a "massage" if I went upstairs). Finally I pay the bill (RMB20 for my beer and 10 for her soda) and when I get to the door, the mama and my girl both say "change girl."

Had I not gotten good response from the 2nd girl, I would have left, but hey....another RMB30 to see if the 2nd girl would put out? Sure! She quickly asked if I wanted to go upstairs, and she offered a BJ when i asked 'what kind of massage'? So we went upstairs and I went to work. To make a long and fun story short, I ended up putting on my condom and having her sit on my member. She didn't want to do it initially but once I started DATY, she nearly couldn't get my member inside her quick enough. No talk of money, but I gave her 150 to keep it strictly commercial--especially since she was saying "wo ai ni" even before she sat on the little man. She was a bit surprised to get the money.

The best part....get this: after finishing, she took the condom and wrapper and tossed it out the window of the place onto some neighboring house's roof or garden!

Went downstairs, paid my bill of 50 room + 20 drinks and left, with her mobile number in my phone. We'll see if she wants to go home with me next time I'm in Suzhou.

Suzhou--mixed bag of reports

Here are several observations and reports of varying levels of success in Suzhou over the past few days.

Location 1A: Just east of Renmin Lu at the North temple pagoda. There are several BBS along the south side of this road as well as a possible sex-bar. As you walk east from the pagoda on this street, the first BBS on the right (south side) does not offer FS. However, I got a very nice massage for 30RMB for an hour, with some 'outside the clothes' mutual touching.

Just past (east of) this first BBS is a bar with curtains and a dim entrance. Go in and there will be some girls downstairs. Pick and girl and go upstairs (or upstairs first, then choose girl). They have 3 or 4 rooms of various sizes upstairs (at least one is a KTV room). I couldn't get FS in the place with my girl; she only wanted to go out, and wanted 500 ST. I laughed and left, but not before the lauban wanted 100 for the room another 100 for the girl. Not recommended, but worth a try if you're in the area; YMMV depending on the girl, I'd guess. This place starts closing down anytime after 12:30am.

Further east of this bar are several BBS that are open late and have cute girls inside. I didn't try them, because I got sidetracked following a near-certain SW for 30-40 minutes one night, and when I found out she wasn't really interested, the shops had mostly closed or there weren't any cute girls left.

Location 1B. Diagaonally opposite the North Temple Pagoda (at the intersection of the above mentioned street and Remin Lu is a very pink-lit BBS on the west side of Renmin Lu that is open till about midnight. I got a very positive look from the girls when I walked by on my way to the bar mentioned above. When I came back after midnight it was closed. I'll try it next time. Also at this general intersection area I saw several cute girls in short skirts as it neared midnight. One pair appeared to get picked up by a local guy just lurking about.

Location 2: north side of Xin Shi Lu, almost one block west of Renmin Lu. There is a BBS here that is always open late, and has pink-lit "rooms" upstairs visible from the street. Taifei is 30RMB. I didn't get FS, but HJ was offered. I think I got the wrong girl, because I mistakenly said yes when they asked if I wanted "chao bei" I should have aksed for an mo. Might try it again.

Location 3: Across the street from the UBC coffee shop that is adjacent to the Sheraton hotel. Had a nice massage and HJ for 60RMB. Wanted more but couldn't get it. This was at the first of 3 BBS on your left as you walk south of Xin Shi Lu.

Suzhou area -- Kunshan

Was in Kunshan (between Suzhou and Shanghai along the expressway) the other night and got taken out by a supplier after dinner. We went to what I guess you would call a tea house of sorts. It was located on Yellow River Road, sorry, but I didn't get the number.

Here's the setup:
From the street, this place was dark except for the neon Chinese characters above the windows. Walk inside, and you see a small bar with lots of young girls idly waiting around on barstools. There was one KTV type room downstairs. You go upstairs to a tea room with a traditional tea setup on the table. You can order tea or just cut to the chase. The girls parade in like in a KTV and you pick one. You can drink tea with them and get to know them, or just say you're ready, and they'll go prepare an individual "tea room" which is actually a room with small foam mattress.

She brings in hot water and ice water, and condoms in her jeans' pockets. You both strip, and the fire and ice BBBJ begins. We then fucked in all positions. The girl I chose was a 20 yr old from Jiangxi with a nice big natural D rack; rest of her body rated an unfirm 6 with a 7 face. Damage was RMB400 all in; I didn't negotiate, but this is what my hosts told me in advance.

All in all, I didn't consider the experience to be a whole lot different or better than a barbershop experience in a nice clean barbershop.

If you've never been to Kunshan before, well, I call it Little Taipei, because Kunshan is full of Taiwanese who have set up factories there. As my supplier confirmed, Kunshan is a little like Taipei was back before Chen ShuiBien was city mayor....i.e. full of mongering establishments.

Suzhou area -- Wujiang

I was in Suzhou earlier this week for the electronics expo they had. Aparently the rest of the world was in Suzhou as well...there were no hotels available, so I ended up in the next town south, called Wujiang. Stayed in the Wujiang Bingguan. Wujiang is a pretty small city. But where there's a Bingguan, there has to be outlets for the horny gov't officials who stay there.

So, if you ever end up in Wujiang, there is a cluster of BBS very near to the Bingguan. Walk out of the Bingguan's gates, turn left, go not more than 100m, and take the first right. The road has small hill you go up and over a bridge. As you get over the bridge, the road narrows to an alley and you'll see the BBS's -- about 10 within a block. Quality varied a lot as did the facilites. Since I was feeling picky and didn't find the right combination of girl and facilities, I didn't quote prices. For sure the first place on the right has a room in back with a proper bed and a door on the room.

Other than that block, I couldn't find much else near the Bingguan. Late at night about midnight I met a couple western guys in the Bingguan's disco/bar/KTV place. These guys had an apartment in Wujiang and said the Bingguan bar was one of the better places to hang out and meet the girls. The girls show up starting at 8:30pm...and the one guy had about a 7.5 cutie on his arms.

The place slightly left of the Sheraton (as you walk out of the Sheraton) with the pink colors and the foot massage sign out front is basically legit; I've tried it.

When will you be in Suzhou? I'll be there in Oct as well. I have two areas I want to check out. But tonight was already called by a freebie that wants me (and was introduced by my KTV freebie that has left the country)....so not sure how much hunting time I'll have!

There is a well lit massage place across from the Sheraton, but didn't appear to offer any services. One girl spoke english so I think if they did, it would have been offered. I think the massage was something like 30 RMB or something like that. Nice foot and chair massage for 45 minutes. I will the there in October so any posts would be appreciated also. Hopefully my business partner who lived in Suzhou will be joining me so I will post if I find some places for picking up girls.

Was in Suzhou recently and about midnight, on the NW corner of Remin Lu and Shi Quan Jie, there is a Barbershop where I'm sure you can get action. There was a very tall (1.7m+) girl in a long red dress standing in the doorway. I was completely exhausted from drinking and dancing in a nearby bar on ShiQuan Jie, so I didn't even approach her, but she looked very nice.

The Gloria Plaza hotel has a sauna/massage with eat-in or take-out service available. I reported on this in greater detail earlier this year in the Shanghai section. Had in-room service for 600 all in (450 to girl, plus 150 house), but probably negotiated too hard, because service was poor.

There is no service in the Sheraton hotel massage. There are a few barbershops near it, as well as a happening disco called Casablanca on Xin Shi Lu east of Remin Lu. The disco gets going about 11 or 11:30pm.

There are several girlie bars (with "drink girls") along ShiQuanJie. That's the main bar street in town. Another bar called Tom's pub is next to the Friendship hotel and is supposed to be a good pick up joint.

Can anyone help me out? I will be in Suzhou for a few weeks for a job and would like a good rundown on the scene there, including what I should expect to pay to play. I speak some Mandarin. I know Shanghai is close and have been there before, but I won't be able to spend much time there this trip, so I need all the info on Suzhou. I heard Suzhou girls were the prettiest in China.

Well, looks like I'm the first on this section.

I just came back from Suzhou on 3 September 2003.

It is a very nice and clean city.

I went around my hotel (Bamboo Grove Hotel) on foot and came to a street called ä¨îïÖØ. There are many massage places, bars, a disco, a Korean KTV.
I did not get to go in this time, since I had company and they do not care for that kind of entertainment. However, we did go in the disco to have a few drinks. RMB150 for 7 Bud Ice, lots of pop corn and a plate of fresh fruits.

I could see a few ladies waiting to get approached by men. They looked quite professional to my eyes. They also have a few closed rooms. I saw the lady servers going in and out of those rooms with new supplies of beers and some other drinks. The dress they were wearing really made me gaze at them. I think the rooms are like KTV rooms, but I am not really sure.

We left the disco and walked down the street. I could see from the road that in the bars many foreigners were sitting with some Chinese girls. I think that most of the bars have ladies to chat with male customers.

Well, I did not get to know Suzhou much this time, but I will be returning there quite often for business I think, and I will not forget to post reports.
