Okay, tonight I had enough beer, I mean courage to check out the above referenced facility. Also, it started raining in the evening, so I know the tatooed guys wouldn't be sitting out front.

I went to Tong Jiang Jie, and as I was walking, about 3 guys walked out. I took shelter in a location where I could look in, and found that the 3 guys walked right into a police car that was sitting around the corner. I waited about 3 minutes, and it wasn"t leaving, so I decided to go down to Zhong Yang Da Jie to check out some bars I had noticed earlier in the week.

Nothing was going on in the bars, so I circled "in the rain" back to Jia Ri Xiang Zu. The police car was gone, so I went down the steps through the entrance. 3 guys were there, one of them, shirt off....full of tatoos. I asked in Chinese how much a massage was, he said 100 rmb, and showed me to a room when I agreed.

The girl who came in was a bit older than hoped for. Maybe mid-30s going towards 40. Face was about a 4 -5, body maybe 5 -6. She had me get on the bed and proceded right away to unbuckle my belt and pull down my shorts. She left my sneakers and socks on (wet from the rain and all). She started working BBBJ, and said for an additional 100 RMB, she'd bring in another younger beautiful girl. At that price I agreed. #2 came in, not a stunner, but, yes, younger and better looking. That is just so not true... Haerbin gals are also greater looking (might be subjective) and had great attitude. Although, the attitude part might not work out for you if you cant speak putonghua well enough to communicate with them.

And also, it would be wise not to compare Haerbin girls working in shenzhen bbs to the ones up north unless you had sampled enough of the samples. hehehe.

Seems posts on the Harbin board are few and far between. I decided that I owed a scouting trip as I haven't posted here for a while.

Went to see if Jia Ri Xiang Zu, as mentioned in earlier reports was still active. It is located just as reported on Tong Jiang St. near the intersection of Da An St. The entrance was dark, and the glass doors looked fairly grimy. However, sitting right out front were two guys, shirts off, fully covered with tattoos.

I didn't want to even interact with those two, but, their presence seems to confirm that Jia Ri Xiang Zu is still active in its reported form (the outside sign was fully lit).

Then went on to the Holiday Inn which is at the intersection of Jing Wei Jie and Zhong Yang Da Jie. This is one of the oldest international hotels in Harbin (at least 15 years old), and is in some need of upgrading.

Sauna/Massage is on the 4th floor. Went in, and both the sauna and the steam room were broken, and I don't think they have any plans of repairing it. The girl who met me at the door was quite pleasant looking, and suggested a massage in my room.

I went up to wait, and 5 minutes later she was at the door. Told me that price for FS was 800 rmb. No negotiation. She got 400 and the house took 400, and any discount she gave came out of her portion.

She stripped down to show me the goods, and she had a rockin' hard body. I love girls from the Northeast. She was about 5' 6", had about a 36C rack, and very slender waist with a little curve to her hip.

She went to clean herself up and came out ready for action. Started with fire and ice BBBJ, letting me finger her while she worked. Then I went DATY, I think she was trying to fake enjoying it at first, but then something snapped and she really got into it (almost suffocated me).

I spoke with a taxi driver who seemed to know a lot about Harbin and he said, as some posters here have also said, that most of the action is at bathhouses and saunas. I’ve never seen a BBS here with the telltale pink lights. This taxi driver said that BBS’s are more common in the south of China.

Here’s a report on a couple of places in Harbin:

Imperial Family Finland Baths:
Located behind the train station (address and directions follow). FS is 168 yuan, shower is 24, for a total of 192.

First you change into the usual slippers, go to the locker room and shower in the public showers. There are sinks along one wall for brushing your teeth and shaving (all supplies provided). If you want, there’s a big room next to the sinks with big bathtubs and fresh fruit and tea. I’m not sure if this is included in the 24 yuan shower ticket, my Chinese isn’t very good so I didn’t quite understand the pricing structure for the shower ticket. The shower tickets ranged from 18 to 38, I think, but the 24 yuan ticket seemed like the basic ticket.

After drying off you head back to the locker room and put on the usual pajama shorts and shirt and tell one of the attendants that you want “an4 mo2.” You’ll be led through a maze of corridors and stairs to a room with big shower stalls that close off with shower curtains. You’re told to wait inside for the “an4 mo2 yuan2.” When she arrives, I guess you can change to another anmoyuan if you don’t like the one who is sent. I didn’t, I’m not so picky. She strips down to her bra and panties and showers you on the shower table, which is the same as a massage table covered with a rubber pad. There’s some brief HJ action as she soaps down and rinses Mr. Happy.

Then she leads you through another maze of corridors and stairs and into a small bedroom, where the action takes place. Afterwards you go back to the public shower and locker room, get dressed and pay.

Overall, this place is very good. It’s clean, the staff is friendly and there’s a good selection of girls. I’ve been there several times. You can also get a comfortable private room with a TV, couch, shower and bed for 60 yuan for one hour. Then they add 38 for the shower with the anmoyuan, who will help wash you down. The FS is still 168, and add another 100 for BBBJ.

Directions: You can walk there from the train station in about 10 minutes. As you exit the train station, turn left and follow the road over the bridge that crosses the train tracks. Keep walking on the left-hand sidewalk, past a big bright red building and you’ll see it. There are no signs in English but it has a big picture of a king’s crown on it and revolving doors that lead into the lobby. Across the street from it is a small park that divides the traffic into two one-way streets. Name and address:

Qing Ze Baths

This is a bathhouse on Xuan Ching Jie. This street is known by the locals as “prostitution street.” The above-mentioned taxi driver said there are many KTV places and bathhouses here. I’ve been there only a couple of times and don’t remember many KTV places but did see a few bathhouses.

At Qing Ze Baths you put on the slippers, store your clothes in a locker and then shower. The lockers and showers are not the cleanest, I saw several cockroaches in both areas (the small kinds, not the big New York City kinds). Then tell one of the attendants that you want a massage and he’ll take you to a bedroom. The room is okay, at least I didn’t see any roaches in there. Wait for a minute and the girl will arrive. If you don’t like her looks you can send her back for another. The girls were not stunners (I saw only a couple) but you should be able to find a decent one. FS is only 108 yuan. The girl I met was pretty aggressive about upselling to BJ for, I think, another 100. FS was good but a little rushed. YMMV.

If you go there you might want to give your clothes a good shakedown after removing them from the locker and putting them back on. This will remove any roaches that may have stowed away on your clothes. Overall this place is okay, definitely for the bargain hunters.

Directions: Xuan Ching Jie is located just east of the Dragon Tower (the tall metal TV tower). It runs north-south, in case you’re searching for it on a map. It’s located along the middle of the street, below a restaurant called the 160 Restaurant.

The place that Mark Mason mentioned (post #22) on Tong Jiang Street is still there and open for business. It still has the characters for Jia Ri Xiang Zu above the door. BBBJ is still 100 yuan and as he said paid to the mamasan or papasan in the lobby. Thanks for the info on this place MM! Around the corner from this place, on Da An Jie, there are a few massage places but I haven’t been to them yet to see what’s on the menu.

Mas 147, sorry to hear about your bad experience. Do you remember where this place was? I’ve never had any problems here. The northeast is considered to be a little lawless compared to the other parts of the country so be a little careful while hunting. Still, Harbin’s great. Things are generally cheaper here than in other parts of China. And many of the women are beautiful, tall, thin and long-legged!

Most of the action in Harbin can be found in the bathhouses or saunas. Some posher ones do not offer FS. There is one at the intersection of Hongqi St. and Xianfeng Rd., offers FS for RMb300, for which you get cat bath, CBJ and AL as well. On top of that, you pay Rmb50 for a nice room and Rmb100 for the bath and a proper massage. The girls are mostly local Dongbei (northeastern) girls. If you like girls of larger build, Harbin is the place. Generally, they are over 20 but pleasant, very professional. Overall, a good relaxing experience.

To cut a long story short, a enforcer came in and made me pay. It was only 600, these are rough notherners so I just paid and then got out.
