So after mostly failing to find anything worth writing about on HieShan Jie, and after being pleasantly surprised by the girls yet still also kind of skeeved out by the shabby conditions of the rooms on YuanShi Jie south of TongDa, I kept seeing these business cards for a bath house with a picture of a cute girl and a WeChat QR Code scattered on the ground all over the place all winter. I picked one up, took it home, searched for the address on the card, and scanned the QR code. Turns out, it was right near my office, well within walking distance from my apartment. I went by a few times to try to figure out where it was and try to figure out the situation. The guy running the WeChat never posted pictures at first, just made these long droning voice messages that I didn't understand a word of because my Chinese is garbage. One day, walking to work, I saw two ladies try to enter to use the showers or whatever, and they were turned away, so I thought, "OK, this is a men's only kind of bath house, I need to check this out. " Shortly thereafter, the guy running the place's WeChat finally posted an ad showing the girls lined up, removing all doubt.

So I go, show the guy at the counter the ad on my phone and ask about the prices using Baidu Translate, just to make sure. I take off my shoes, they give me slippers, a small towel, and a magnetic key card, and they take to the side area. There's a sign that says 'men's showers' in Chinese and English, and further down the hallway a sign that says 'Women's Showers' in both languages. I put my things in the locker the magnetic key opens, take a shower, put on a cheap disposable massage shorts and shirts.

Then the guy showing me the way takes me out the Men's Shower door and he pulls a fake book from the fake bookcase and a door leading to a downstairs area opens up, fucking James Bond villain lair shit. Go downstairs, another guy opens the door after the first guy from upstairs shouts. Everything is bathed in red light, so you can see everyone but not too clearly, and about 12 really hot looking Chinese women in pushup bras and belly dancer gear (all the little metal things clink every time they take a step) line up on all sides of me. I look around, trying to gauge breast sizes through the push up bras and hip sizes through clinky metallic sashes, choose one girl who seems to be curvier..

Great post. Good to see other activity here. 1,200? Weird. Maybe you've had a similar experience to me, where the real boss was in for a day, and charges the flat "1000" for all foreigners. Fuck those places. Don't go.

I have not been back to the place on Hegou Jie I mentioned earlier, obviously since they seemingly quadrupled their rates. It is near my office, one of these days I will swing by there and see if the price they quoted me last time was a mistake, or because they were feeling heat from the police, or maybe they are going strictly high end.

In any event, that place and another place in Daoli District used to advertise together, share the same rotation of girls, which is how I heard of Red Rain Bath House, one of the girls added me on WeChat, said I should see her there. I have no idea what the relationship between the two bathhouses is now, because the one that regularly posts on WeChat no longer mentions the one on Hegou in Nangang.

Same basic set up, you go in, sit down, they bring you slippers, a small towel, a locker key, they lead you downstairs to the locker room. You put your things in the locker, shower, put on disposable shorts and shirt combo, they walk you past the showers to a locked door, the attendant yells out, someone on the other side opens the door, line up of several girls wearing push ups and jingly, clinky belly dancer waste wraps.

The women are generally pretty hot, prices are 300/600/900 depending on time. As soon as you're about to start, someone else knocks and tries to convince you to get 2 girls. So in Harbin, most of the ex-pat bars (and in a larger sense, most of the bars in general, as most Dongbei drinking culture revolves around getting shit faced at dinner or at KTV drinking warm beer or baijiu and not going to a bar and drinking cocktails) are on QiaoNan Jie, near the West Gate of HaGongDa or HIT. South of QiaoNan Jie, there are several massage places, A. K. A. Pink lights.

They are spread out in that area in more or less a four block by four block square, starting at SongMing Jie, near Xidaqiao Station on Line 1, the nearest block parallel to Xidazhi Jie, (though there are only a couple on SongMing). Most of the shops are on YuanHe Jie and YuanShi Jie, and there a few on HanGuang Jie (the street Fox Bar is on, and further up the road past the railroad tracks to the north is the West Gate of HIT). All these streets are, like SongMing, parallel to and to the east Xidazhi Jie. South of QiaoNan Jie and intersecting Xidazhi Jie are HanYang Jie, HanXiang Jie, and, south of TongDa Jie, QiZheng Jie: these are the east-west streets that complete the square. TongDa is busy commercial street with banks and hotels and the like, so there are no pink shops there, but there are several just north and a ton just south of it on YuanHe and YuanShi. I would say most of the shops are on YuanShi south of TongDa, between TongDa and XiZheng, or on XiZheng between YuanShi and HanGuang. Throughout that 4 block by 4 block square, there are little pockets where several pink light shops are clustered close together.

Like at HieShan Jie, your mileage may vary, some girls will shoo you away when they see you're a foreigner, some girls will just lie there and not want to take their clothes off, and the rooms and beds are shabby at best. Having said that, I had way better results on YuanShi than I ever did on HieShan. I found one really hot girl in a storefront all alone there who only charged 100 rmb, though most charge 200, and some will charge you 300. It usually takes me forever to nut, so I usually have to pay for more time, but whatever. As a result, sometimes I just pay for a blow job. There are a couple of working girls that have taken to me and I've seen more than once so they are really relaxed with me. Again, your mileage may vary.

I never really had luck with the Heishan Jie shops. Too many would beckon me to come in and then wave me away once they I was not Chinese. The ones who would offer me services were older MILF types with OK faces and not great bodies. Generally, they would want to keep their clothes on, which I found annoying, and wanted me to pay extra for them to get naked, and a few times I really regretted paying extra and wished they would have kept their clothes on. Thing Stick mentioned YMMV and most seem to open up and relax after repeat visits, but I never had a visit there I wanted to repeat. Basically the one good thing I got from going there is to know what to look from that point forward, because after going there a few times, I realized there were pink lights all over the city.

The funny thing is that this is happening in Dalian too: I came here to Harbin in hopes of some good vibes, but instead learned of the situation in China the hard way. The crackdown may not be permanent, but I was told could last at least 100 days. One of the most famous saunas in Dalian (and has been for years) is still closed since my last report, so it is very serious.

A man approached me in the street and directed me to the back door, and took me inside, where the lights were all off. I was too paranoid about the situation, so I took off. I'm used to "open-air" operations. Not underground operations. But either way, besides the BBS places that thing stick mentioned, this may very well be the only place in all of Harbin at the moment to go if you want to get your rocks off.

Thing stick: Are you sure I went to the right place? You said they had told you; to take a shower first when you; went, but they did not give me that option. They said there was another foreigner in there at the time, so maybe that was you!

Was this just a few days ago? If so, that was indeed me. Ha. My first visit back to that spot in a while.

Do not do Wechat or QQ stuff. Waste of time / scams. Never pay up front. Trust me.

Don't worry about it being dark. Upstairs is business as usual. That place did seem laughably shady downstairs, until you get upstairs. Biz as usual, with many customers.

One of my girls on Heishan Jie gives me the low-down. In Harbin, this type of shit only lasts like, a week tops. There are dozens of places you can go in Harbin, but honestly, I no longer recommend them, as many of them have been assholes to me.

There's another spot that has had a worsening line-up, but have recently beginning taking on super cute freelancers. It's a bit more pricey. Mine was 600. Up there for Harbin. If you can find a good normal girl, prices start at 300. The freelancers are special. Ask the price.

It's address is: FUSHUN JIE # 223. "Truth Longquan" or something is the translation. Red lettered sign. Usually off. I assume your Chinese is good. It's a very basic place, one couch. Sit, do the normal routine.

Anyway, do go back to the place you visited, the one in the photo below. That place is great. There are many good rotating lineups there, so wait 30 minutes to an hour if you don't have someone great you're eyeing.

A ten minute wait, when you were there, got me my best session yet.

Consider it.

Oh, one more thing. Heishan Jie shops, they would open their doors after 12, midnight, during the first few days of this type of shit. Now, it's 10 PM, so I suspect in a couple more days, it'll be back to business as usual.

Harbin is pretty relaxed. I wouldn't worry. I hunt around a lot, and find new stuff every day, and my language ability is not good at all. I can only imagine if my Mandarin was perfect, what I would find.

Anyway, I'm more interested in hotel saunas than anything else. Are there any hotel saunas in Harbin? If so, can you give me a little "nudge" on where to head out to find them? Bathhouse places are probably okay, as I heard there are many of them. I just don't want to keep going in every one to take a shower only to find out that there are no "special services". Talk about pain in the neck!

Been meaning to report. I've been going to the same places as the post in #150. Go there. Say Hello, sit down, get shoes on, shower, and go upstairs. First price is 300.600 / 800 are longer times.

Service is good.

As well as "Heishan Jie" (Go to Heishan Jie / Baling Jie, and make some circles on the back streets). You can also get there by "Guogeli (Gwo Guh Lee) / Gexing (Guh Shin) Jie (Jie means street). Get yourself to Heishan Jie, and walk the back streets. There are about 12 shops. One of the streets has 4 in a row. Not all will accept you. Don't pay more than 200.

This is "fast food" as they say. 20-30 minutes. YMMV on girl / what she will allow. A lot are cold until you see them a few times. Try a few.

Been back to the above spot a few times now. It's pretty awesome, for 300. Probably the best a foreigner can find. At least, the best I've found. And I've been hunting pretty hard. Kicker is though, I live near the river, so tack on another 60 round trip for taxi, and none of these jag off taxi drivers know how to find it without much hassle. Still, worth it. The sign is not lit. It doesn't even look like it's an open thing, really. I'd honestly never find half of this shit if I didn't have prepped info from people.

Anyway. Some new girls on Heishan Jie. 200. Fast food. One girl has an insanely great body. Saw her twice. Second time was more relaxed. Got her Wechat and told her to chill out after the first session being rigid. Will continue.

If you want to go there, just say "Heishan Jie / Ba Ling Jie" to any taxi, they will know.
