Sorry to burst your bubble, but most probably, the bellboy just sent you a massage girl from the hotel's sauna. You could have saved yourself 100rmb. And, was HE, BBBJ and FS available?

Shenyang is dead even before the crackdown. I recommend going to any other nearby area. I did my best to find anything (and normally, I am successful) and found nothing. Also the town is drab and ugly

Spent a few days here last months and must agree with others, this is cleaned up thoroughly. Could not find a single BBS or sauna offering FS. Even normal MPs are rather rare and all have transparent and non-lockable doors. In the few bars I spotted only not worthy SPs of over the deadline age.

Asked some locals and was told all has been driven underground and now works via incall with a serious price hike to around 1000. So unless you have local connections or live here it is not a hobby city anymore for occasional travellers.

Went to PureColor at around 10:30 pm on Saturday and it was packed. Upon looking at other establishments I would guess the nightclubs open around 9:30 pm (saw some places already open as I was walking just little before 10)

As to PureColor, I'd say it's still the place to be as a westerner. I saw two that I though would be WGs, sipping very slowly their beer and scanning around the bar with their eyes. I have lived her over a year and this is the worse place in China I have been to. I talk to the cab drivers and they tell me the sauna's were basically shut down a few years ago. Some say they know what places to go but I have gone on too many wild goose chases with cab drivers in Shenyang. Fortunately I have been able to make some private deals with women I have met here.
