for those staying in shenyang, the internet speed at kempinski is about 1.81 mbps download and 739 upload. but the connection is getting to be sporadic.

i was unable to test the trader hotel's speed but their website boot page states that their broadband speed was 512 kps.

i was able to test the grand century hotel, a block from the trader hotel and their speed was half of the upload and download speed of the kempinski.

on a side note, a bell boy at the trader hotel told my girlfriend that the "chickens" at the coffee shop are getting 3,000 rmb for lt. wow.

i'm at the kempinski hotel on sunday. will be here for about six days. like to meet if possible when girlfriend is not around. perhaps in the evening, after dinner at the hotel lobby. what's convenient for you?

not crazy about this hotel. any recommendation? like to stay in a more busy/tourist/local mall area. minimum 3 stars but perhap 4 stars.

my girl and i are shopping for a new hotel. so stay put for new hotel info. this area is dead. i'm looking for area near the main street shopping mall, near the other forbidden city. there's rose hotel but now it doesn't have internet. so off to see other hotels later today. checking on room size and internet speed.

Anyway, just further updates on the suana centres in Shenyang.

Found a branch of the Yu Lan Quan RC previously posted by Tony and updated by me.

Address: Shenyang City, Tie Xi Area, Zhong Gong Nan Jie No. 89

Entrance fee: RMB 28

Services: As per last update in other branch.

Cost: FS cheaper at RMB 205. (Did not try). Quality of FS ladies not as good and not as much variety than main branch.

Bath area (1st floor): Facilities and service also not as good. However, there is additional section for scrubbing where there will be ladies either bikini (cheaper) or naked (more expensive) to do scrubbing and additional things for you. Did not try this as just now when I went the quality of girls not very good. May be better but not having high hopes.

Massage area (2nd floor): FS ladies right at entrance to your right after you go up stairs. Straight in turn right is main resting lobby. Body Massage girls and Foot massage girls separate. IMHO foot massage girls generally younger and prettier. Foot massage RMB 60 waive entrance fee.

Show & KTV area (3rd floor): Before go into main resting lobby, there is a spiral stairs going up. Have show up till 11pm with last segment being erotic dance. Never see as after foot massage show finished. Show includes some dancing, acrobats by young girl (I mean very very young) and some talk show (in chinese) and also a 10 mins erotic dance.

Just found out a very convenient place for outcall massage.

Name: There is no name (Goes to show it is special:P)

Location: Shenyang Yuhong District Huanghai Road (Near Golden Coast Hotel)

How to get there:

Assume you reach Golden Coast Hotel. Your back towards it, go across the road. Walk along the small road after that (this road will have China Construction Bank as the first shop on your left). Once you reach a crossroad, turn left and walk about 30m. The shop will be on your right. For those who can read chinese, you will find it easily as it will be the only massage joint along that road.

For those who cannot understand chinese, no fret. The shop is lighted up with a sort of pink-orange light inside at night. Anyway, for regular mongers, you will be able tell by instinct:P

Operating Hours: 24 hrs daily

Best time:
Daily before 9pm for best selection (I was told about 15 girls)
Go after 2am at own risk as there may be no girls

The menu:

1. 1 shot on site - 100RMB (not recommended as the place is run down)
2. 2 shot or 5 hrs (Take-out) - 200RMB + Transport to and fro
3. BBBJ - additional 100RMB
4. Normal foot/ body massage - 20/ 30 RMB (not recommended as there are better place for this)

Anyway, I should be up in Shenyang with my GF during either the week of May 28th or June 4th for seven days. There after, I'm most likely headed south to ChangPing, Dongguan. But my plans are opened providing I stay at a hotel with Internet connection and love making is inexpensive in the area.
