Despite all the gloomy earlier reports, just arrived in town today and it seems fairly busy. AM staying in the xiang geli la fandian and went accross the road for dinner. Was assaulted by young ladies and blokes offering various services. Was with colleagues so politely declined said services.

Lost the colleagues and went for a walk after 2300. Went to a place called the "Healthy Recreation Centre" on the right as you exit the car entrance of the hotel and about 100 m on the RHS. Oily Massagey for RMB 138 for 1 hour.

Brought into the tiny freezing room and girl (ba hao) fires up the heaters and gets down to business. Finished me off with an oily HJ which was fine. Unlike many places where the girl turns her face away for the HJ she kept talking and never took her eyes off things. Gave me her card and said she does outcall. Have no time and am too tired to have another night at it (see Haerbin report of today). She has next to no English so you will need some Chinese but my knowledge is modest and we got on really well together.

Whether you are looking for karaoke or sauna / massage service, you shall find both at Ramada Optics Valley. It's been a few weeks but I recall it was either 4th or 5th floor. Karaoke on the right and sauna on the left of the same floor.

Went to explore the sauna service one evening. 3 level of services was offered. 680/1050/1250. 680 is your basic quicky, one pop and you are out, and room offers no shower according to mamasan. 1050 option offers full 90 minutes of service in room with shower, discount offered to hotel guest for in-room service for the same option at 800. Not sure about the 1250 choice but likely a fancier room.

Took #19 at mamasan's suggestion. Not a beauty but certainly not bad looking, and with an awesome body once the dress came off. Took a sensual shower together before moving to the bed. I have never experienced this before, but I was asked to be on my back and she did this tongue circle thing over each inch of my back from shoulder to back of the knee, and I do mean every inch. U need to climb up to 6th floor inthe second tower in the hotel. As usual person there tried to extract more than what I had read during RTFF, managed to depress price from 850 to 650 for 90 minutes. Requirement was clearly spelled out so that all the irrelevant in between steps starting from shoes getting replaced by their slippers was avoided. Direct to the room, followed by ramp walk of 7-8 average girls, one with bigger frame but non mom attracted my attention. Ritual bath was mandatory. I was in Xiangfan about a year and a half ago and seem to remember seeing some pink lights at night. However, your easiest option maybe to stay in a hotel. I believe we stayed in the Changhong Hotel and there was a card advertising for "massage" where you could call and the girl would come to your room. The hotel also had a KTV. Unfortunately I had my wife in tow so I couldn't sample the selection.

Well the Novotel sauna is still closed as of yesterday. The one across the street was what I settled for and it was a huge mistake. The place looks nice from the outside but it is absolutely filthy downstairs. It was too late though to turn back, the girl was nice enough but it was very rushed. 500 rmb and I would never repeat.

Well, long time lurker but not many contributions, so I thought I should give just a bit at least.

Was in Wuhan last week, and slept in Novotel Xin Hua.

Could try their sauna (easy to find, on the 6th floor). Actually, when I saw their opening hours (from 13:00 to 6 am!), I knew their would provided valuie added service, which proved to be true.

The Novotel sauna is closed for "refurbishment" (where have we heard that before?) but there seems to be no work going on...

The massage place straight across the road is in fact a sauna; 500 RMB for a nice young tighty, but grubby (the place) and no routine (the girl). Definitely better than nothing.
