This is the tail-end of our trip. I decided to spend ten days in BKK rather than scramble after another flight. We are in a serviced apt. in Saladaeng. I prefer this neighborhood over Suk or anywhere else I have been. Park, Skytrain, subway, boxing etc. Some thoughts to follow although most of U R 2 hip 4 me and may flame:

1. The air is better than in 2000;

2. The subways are outstanding;

3. A man (read 'I') could fry living in BKK without restraint; this time around I have a wife and a niece with me, truly fortunate;

4. However pathetic, even grotesque they get, I will always sympathise with the lonely souls who can't get enough of this scene. The White World is simply devoid of this kind of service. I got a foot massage (one gurl on each foot) and a face massage at some joint on Soi 3 yesterday. That would get me a lawsuit for sexism in my home town. We may run the world but man, the hetero scene is devoid.
