Hi there,

It's ok if you like the low-end girls, but the Constitucion area is not very safe, specially for US people. Not only security is an issue but also safe sex.

I'll think it twice before going there.

Maybe the safest thing is looking at the girls in the escorts site, choose one, check in the forums for any reference and go.

The currency I'm referring to is US. The prices in Argentine currency are approx. 3x that in pesos.

Street walkers: I go to the Constitution area, usually in the afternoon when its safer. (the subte takes me there) Ave Juan de Garay is the main drag, with girls also down the cross sts. like Salta and San Jose. Prices start at 20 pesos and go up or down from there plus room (5-10) pesos.

Also I go to the microcenter area at night. Theres girls on Florida, Maipu, Esmeralda and Saipacha and the cross sts. Prices are approx. 50-80 pesos.

Cafes: Orleans and Excedra are the main ones. I have a couple of other private cafes. PM me for those. Prices range from 100 to 200 pesos.

First of all. Is the currency you refer to ARS or USD?

I will make more long term visits so price is an issue for me.

I partially agree with BayBoy. But, a few other things keep the competition close.

On the RIO Ledger:

1. I find Brazilian girls a bit less refined and far wilder.
2. There is no atmosphere like Help. There just isn't.

4. Water, weather, femail attire and the beach.

On the BA Side:

2. As my ex-pat pointed out to me, in 2 1/2 years in BA, he hadn't had a bad meal. In my relatively limited sample space, I tend to agree with him.
3. The city is safe, and eons ahead culturally. I'm even going down on a vacation where I will have NO chance to monger.
4. There is no Rio equivalent to the reliable recommended escort websites.
5. STD's are far less common, especially aids.

My bottom line analysis is that Rio offers an incredible "in your face" blatantly sexual experience, where Buenos Aires offers an all-around satisfying experience for all the senses, and mongering takes on a certain elegance.

I'm hoping to study the nuances for years to come.

There is no city ANYWHERE in Latin America that can hold a candle to BA in terms of beauty or culture. BA is WAY more European than Latin. While Rio has an incredible landscape, BA is a more attractive city. Point for Argentina.

BA is WAY safer than any city in Brasil. Point for Argentina.

Working girls are MUCH older in BA (youngest I EVER met was 22 while average is about 28). In Brasil I had lots of 18YOs. Point for Brasil.

As far as age goes, you're probably right that the girls are a little younger in Rio on the whole (theres more gals in their 20s); but I'm in my 50s so I prefer the older gals, generally in their 30s and 40s.

As far as attitude goes, its hard to say, I've met friendly ones in Rio and BA and also bitches in both cities. My experience has been that I've had to be more careful about chica thieves in Rio than BA.

Thanks for comparing the two. I have not been to BsAs, so I cannot say too much about it outside of what I've read in the forum. Since we are on the subject and you two have been to both places, maybe you can shed some light on a few things that I have read in the BsAs forum.

What about the prices in BsAs?
I've read that some of the chicas from the higher end clubs like Madahos charge am minimum of $100 USD per hour and Black will ask for $300 USD, but will settle for $200 USD if you bargain with them long enough.

Drink policies?
I've also read that you are required to buy expensive drinks ($15-20 USD per drink) for the chicas before they will even begin discussing prices with you. I know that it works differently in each club, but I've heard that some clubs will sometimes make you buy 2 or 3 of these drinks for the girl.

Chica ages?
It just seems like the girls in BsAs are a little older than the ones in Rio. Rio is crawling with 20-22 y/o girls, but it seems like the younger girls available in BsAs are around their mid-twenties. Fact or fiction?

Attitudes?
Are the attitudes of the chicas in BsAs along the same lines of the girls in Rio? Most of the girls that I have been with in Rio have been sweet and always have a warm smile on their face. Are most of them the same way in BsAs?

Again, I'm definitely not able to say which one is better than the other (if either one of them even is) since I have only been to one of the two. Personally I prefer BA.

I've been to Rio 2Xs and next week I'll be in BA. This is my 4th trip to BA.

The girls are much better looking in BA. You get the whole range from blonds, & brunettes all the way to darker latinas. Theres a big variety of venus in BA: street walkers, cafes, bars, night clubs, massage parlors, & apartments.

BA is much safer to walk around at night than Rio, its a very cosmopolitan city with wide boulevards and streets and good restaurants.

But, there is one drawback: NO BEACHES.

Hi guyz,

I am planning my second trip to South America, but I am having a hard time deciding whether to go to BA or to Rio this time. I stayed in Rio last year for about 3 months and had the time of my life. Those beautiful girls all over Rio are just amazing. So the question now stands is "To go to Rio or to BA."

I would appreciate very much if some of our fellow mongers who have visited both the places can compare the two in their opinions.
