Thanks to all you "San Jose players." I recieved quite a bit of help on the board and several pm's about accomodations in SJO. I decided on the Hotel Europa w/ pool for around $58 a night. Money is not really a huge issue with me - but to throw away $25 per night extra at the Holiday Inn for a guest is a total waste!

Thank you for the help - I have found that the guys on this board (SJO) are very helpful and accomodating with all sorts of questions.

Well, I'm just about to leave, so thought I'd try to get some more fun in before I have to go back to the cruel, mean world.

There are a lot of fishing lodges on the Pacific side. I haven't taken any myself, but you should be able to find some interesting things to do there. There is some fishing done on lakes, (Arenal, etc) but I think you'll get much better action on the ocean.

There are a number of girls who will do 3 ways. Karla and Diane at Bar Idem. I'd check out Zona Blue and Bar Idem first. The Blue Marlin has some very nice looking chicas, but they can be very hit and miss.

I've heard of guys giving paid tours, but have no recent info on them. There are some escorts out there, but you will pay 2-10 times more than just going to a place and finding your own. I think paying $100 for EVERY Del Rey chica is also silly. I went into the bar the other night, and while there are some hot looking chicks, to pay $100 is just wasteful. When there are 50 chicas there, and 10 guys, you know the price is going to come down.

Why did you assume there would be action in Tamarindo? If you've read the forum, you'd know that you need to bring a chica with you if you want to be guaranteed a girl. Perhaps Jaco has a decent supply, but you'll do better financially and (probably) sexually with your own "take out".
