Based on your short stay and the place you mentioned in your PM, I would recommend going to Ally Pally early and transitioning to Blitz (yes, still there) if you don't find a winner in a couple of hours at AP. AP maybe at 8 pm and Blitz at 10 if you need to.

Lately I've found the crop at AP a bit better than at Blitz but of course you can find a winner in either. I've had a live in WG GF for some months now and what I see is an increasing trend to pull a runner with some of the PRCs. This wasn't much of a problem ten years ago but it is increasingly so. Long time lurker, always a bit nervous about posting, but here goes. Been living in AD for 1+ years. I started checking out the WG bar scene + AMP scene around town. I think that, unlike a lot of the mongers on here, I've got two things going against me: I'm younger and not in great physical shape. The second means that I have very little bargaining room. I've read countless AARs here and. Again, maybe I'm just a bad negotiator. I mean that even at the Ally Pally, not a single PRC that solicited me (and that's how it works there. From the moment you walk in) was willing to even talk for less than 600-700 AED for ST! I had this one experience where I walked in to the Ally Pally and THREE PRCs wouldn't leave me alone and insisted I take all three. They wanted 2500 for the three of them. Yeah, right. 2500 for three Russians. Yeah, I'd probably go for that. But PRCs? Give me a break. I negotiated them down to 1800, but still. That's way more than it ever should be.

Doctor. I don't know how I missed this the first time around, but I did. Please let me offer a little sincere advice.

If you practice good hygiene and dress nicely this should not be a problem unless you are morbidly obese and cause the girls to fear physical injury.

Africans, CIS, Arabs, and Fillis are not ladies I would recommend for you. I suggest that you re think PRCs. Here is my suggested plan for you:

Go to Ally Pally at least three times a week but go on weekdays, not Thursday Friday. When you walk through the door you will be pounced on by the aggressive PRCs. Tell them politely, "Not take a lady tonight". Buy your beverage of choice and set up a regular spot. Perhaps a stool by the post with the little drink shelf. Somewhere central where you can see and be seen.

Take your time. Observe. Ladies will come up to you. Treat them politely. If someone makes eye contact that seems nice and not too aggressive perhaps go over to her. Make it clear, "Not take a lady tonight". Talk to them. If you find someone nice offer to buy them water or juice. Spend a couple of hours and leave. When you leave make the rounds of the ladies you spoke to and tell them good night. Wish them good luck.

Repeat. 4-5 times over two weeks. On each visit when you come in make the rounds of the room greeting ladies you know. Try to learn their Chinese names. Then get your beverage of choice and take up your usual spot.

When you have established this pattern on maybe your sixth visit confide to one lady that you would like to take a lady tonight and ask her for suggestions as to which lady. She may volunteer or suggest another. Make it for a short time. Offer 500 AED and do not budge from this price.

The first time you have sex with one of these girls is VERY important. So, needless to say, I steer clear of the bar scene these days. I'm not trying to say I'm racist, but I don't like PRCs or Africans much anyway. If I were to go for a WG, I'd go for a Russian / Ukrainian / Iranian or Arab (I know, small pickings). However, given my shortfalls, it doesn't appear that this is feasible. At least not for an affordable price. Plus. I would need to get a hotel room, because my apartment security is like Fort Knox and a lot of my work colleagues live in the same building as me.

What this means is that I've pretty much resolved myself to the AMP scene. It's considerably cheaper, the outcome is generally the same, and if I choose properly I also get a good massage out of it. I've explored a number of the places on this board. Sometimes my experiences are similar and sometimes they are different. For example, everyone raves about how great the 19th floor spa is. I went there once and there was not even a hint of any extras. Will not repeat. There are some other places. Like the place near Corniche Hospital. Where the experience is hit or miss. First time there, no extras. Second time, great extras. Third and fourth, no dice. Will not repeat.

I've tried to find the place with the name of a mythical bird, but google maps and their own website are not very helpful. Plus, parking in that area is a nightmare. Given the lack of looks and good massage skills, perhaps it's for the best.

For me, the two most reliable spots are near the Souk Central Market. One is on Airport Rd. Between Hamdan and Khalifa (on the right, going north toward the Corniche). This one is 200 AED and extras really depend on the masseuse (Thais are generally a go and Flips not). The other is the popular one behind the Du building. This was hard for me to find at first because the directions on this website are often convoluted. What the hell does "opposite" mean? To me, it means across the street. Well, the place behind Du is not across the street. It is in the block of buildings behind Du and the Souk. If you walk along that main Road (forgot the name. It's the one that connects hamdan and khalifa one block east of Airport Rd) you will see the name and phone number of the building near the Liwa Exchange.

So, why this place? Well, it's cheap. Walk-in price is 140 AED. I've had five massages there and all were excellent. Even if there were no extras, it would be worth it. The facility is a bit run down, but the staff is good. No lookers there, but all good at massage and they most certainly offer extras. Now, HJ is +300 AED. I know some here balk at that, but hear me out. The net cost to you is 440 AED. Many of these other places are 225/250 + 200 for extras. So the price works out the same in the end. The other thing is that they don't rush. They take their time. I am a quick one, and they recognize that so they back off.

Again, no real lookers, a bit run down, but a damn good massage and very good technique. I don't think other extras are available, though the friend of my preferred masseuse texted me after I left last time. It was a lot of unintelligible Engrish, but I think the lady was asking me if I wanted a 'date. '.

The Bin Sidra in Carrefour won't serve you as very Arabic, need to find smaller ones and there are plenty of those in Abu Dhbai trust me. Don't go to pharmas in malls, go to ones in the side streets.

As Misha said if there has been a crackdown the larger ones will stop for a while but the smaller ones will be more helpful..........................On my last visit I stocked up with some antibiotics I may need if I get sick on the road etc and no hassles.

More than one year back neighbour Qatar stopped selling Cialis and similar without prescription. The authorities had some inspections, noticed missing inventory records and closed more than 10 pharmacies for a few days. That raid worked. Antibiotics are probably formally not allowed either, however I think they are more relaxed re antibiotics.

Might be something is changing in Abu Dhabi as well?
