Could you please advise me on a good hotel on the beach which is also GF? I RTFF and the Hilton was reported as very green. Any feedback on the Beach Rotana or other hotels you think may do? Has anyone heard anything about the new Shangri-La (which of course is a bit out of town)?

In terms of the best place to find PRC's, which is the one you enjoyed the most? 49ers? Crowne Plaza? HoJo?

Most hotels GF except IMHO Le Meridien

For me the Beach Rotana is nice, Hilton is good but far from the action )well OK 10 mins in taxt on Cornich at most). SL is lovely but way out of town a good 30 mins taxi from downtown AD.

RTFF re the PRCs - plenty recent reports from R11, me and Jimmy the One - PRCs everywhere just depends what you want to pay and how pretty/ugly/fat etc you like them.

Well, as you guys could have read from Wicked Roger's latest report, he took me out to many places in Abu Dhabi to introduce me to the scene. Mighty nice of him and much appreciated that he took the time to show me around the various places!

My 'experience' so far has been a few massage parlors in Dubai with a happy ending, all conveniently found by taxi's. Will post later about some crazy stuff that has happened in this area. Fellow Mongers

Had the pleasure of meeting Richard11 (R11) this weekend, a really nice guy and about time I met new faces in AD as so many are leaving, hibernating, on vacation.....

His first time here and good to just meet up, chat and swap information about his normal places of mongering. He will post FRs as and when but we just went around a few places in the capital and chatted, no picking up WGs (though IMHO the quality and numbers was down where we went – but is because of where we went as you will see)

First off Vincents in the Crowne Plaza because this is reasonably quiet (well a nice duo bashing out Jazz songs) and you can here yourself speak and be heard. Gave R11 and me time to acquaint ourselves and for me to give him some idea of things. As I said I am not an AMP man which he is so thanks to COP for his info and Jimmy the One for his PRC ‘massage’ contacts.

From Vincents we tried to get into Hemingways but too busy, so thought Chamas (the new Brazilian restaurant in the InterCon). I had explained the bars and clubs, the quality etc from my viewpoint, the costs of entry etc. R11 is like, does not like to overpay for poor attitude CIS and Africans (well I never go with Africans, CIS I have been tempted before but you guys know my normal tastes). So we went to Howard Johnsons (the Cellar and then 17th Floor). And you could not get amore different class and quality.

Cellar was dreadful virtually all male listening a truly awful band of CIS girls and a man with a synthesiser! Hopeless, no girls so we quickly scooted upstairs. AED 50 per head for 2 free drinks which is not bad considering elsewhere. As it is summer not as busy, and my feet did not stick to the floor this time. Predominantly (90%+) PRC but there was one African at the bar who immediately grabbed and pinched me while getting a beer – some things never change. Mainly Indian and Arabs looking for the girls and we were the only Europeans in the place so we stood out and had some attention that we waved away. Arabic dancing on the floor was OK but the girls not that great either – preferred the CIS band from a long time ago but then I do not frequent this place regularly unless there is a newbie ISG monger so I can at least show him the variety that makes up the capital.

So we quickly downed the drinks and went up the stirs to the Filipino bar which is AED 35 person (2 free drinks – am sure they meant bottles of beer but a draught was provided and we had no complaints). Band was OK, nice eye candy as the girls are cute. Did a reasonable rendition of Pink Floyd which is adventurous but was acceptable. R11 began to realise why I like Filipinas as there were a few cuties there, no WGs, all with friends and boyfriends but a nice place all the same. Thanks a lot CP & FJ for feedback. This surely is a seedy joint & I was lucky enough to escape unhurt. Last weekend went to Illusions, LRM. The entry is whopping 125 but includes a drink & worth. The quality of WGs very good, though mostly CIS. Got one good looking CIS for aed 900 (asked 1000). Suprisingly she oferred BBJ (usually CIS WGs have lots of restrictions) & tried 4 times till morning in different positions. Visited the Indian dance bars a few times and just take it as a laugh.
