I would generally disagree as have been there a few times to see ISG mates and girls never stopped. If you bring in the girl early and sit have coffee first then wander to room always easier of course...come in very late maybe the issue

Also I took girls there as stayed there for a change from the apartment.

It's in the desert and is a desert for what you are referring too (so are the group of hotels nearby.). Its an interesting hotel with some good places to eat. Worth an short evening out to look around as the architecture/design is interesting, but you will leave early.

I do not know if it is girl friendly.

It is GF...like most hotels in Abu Dhabi, but it is barren of WGs - unless you try a weekend when the bars sms to be full and there maybe to odd one or an "enthusiastic amateur"

Excellent summary - a great guide for newcomers to AD. One to add to the list is the Red Lion on the first floor of the International Rotana on Hamdan. Not a bad little bar with well-priced beer and a very mixed clientele. On the couple of occasions I've been in recently there have been quite a few larger ladies in there. I'm not sure whether that was purely by chance or if the Red Lion has evolved into catering for this specific niche, but for those who like a bit of meat on their bones (and I do) then it might be worth a look.

Yes I was alking about Ally Pally sorry if I did not mention the name. As you said girls are aged (many around 40es and up), and you said price could be cut down at closing time (between 11-12pm) as many bar but more late. This is as you said is the big advantage. Many of them will go to the Blitz, because first, it's free entance and then as per their looking most of them will not have chance to go to 49e because security will not accept them except if they go accompany with a guy.

Dear Softspaker, yes there is also 2 bars in H. Johnson but as far as I am updated it's still closed (the most busy one). It's for why I did not mention it.

Finally, note that I forgot to mention 1 bar:

-Rock Bottom Cafe at Captial Hotel

Timing: 12pm to 2. 30am (happy hours in the afternoon until 7pm). No girls until 6-7pm around. Best time to go is between 10. 00 and 1. 00am.

Entrance fee: up to 100 on Thursday & Friday with 2 drinks but if you arrive by 6-7pm, you will not pay.

Girls: Many from central asia, and russians ladies, some blacks and Chineses.

Price: 600-700 in average if you do not negociate. Good music, usually good band there from 10PM. A lot of expatriates (English and other Europeans) working often in the construction field with Bsix company, etc.

Again, as I said and as far as I am concerned, my preferred bar is 49e (just a personal choice). For what concerning fees, when you become a regular you will be able to escape to pay the entrance fees in the following bars:

49e, Rock Bottom Cafe and G- Club but you need to get closed with security.

Finally, if you take a lady a couple of time, it's very easy then to put the price down. I usually get a lady for 400 a night in average and 500 dhs even on a Thursday night. The girls if you treat them well will stay until 3-4pm the next day so you have plenty of time to enjoy several times, hehehe.

I am on the way to go to Qatar and will also stay a while there. I know it's not Abu Dhabi. But I am sure there will be something for sure. It's an emerging countries with plenty of hotels and bar to open soon. I will do a report in several month after all my findings. In the meanitime, if you know something about Qatar, feel free to let me know. Up to date, there is nothing really on this site about it.

Absolutely fantastic report !!! It captures everything in AUH with a nearly realistic rating. Just to add: There is one H. Johnson (near LMR) which has two bars. But it's as nasty as Blitz & prices are in the range of 300-600 LT.

I would add to #7, assuming the bar you are talking about is Ally Pally, to the right as you come through the main hotel entrance, that there are a few "advantages" to this place. For one, it's brightly lit, so there is little doubt as to what you are renting for the evening. Secondly, for the older PRC, which often provide a good experience, you can have a LT (or certainly a ST) in the 300-500 AED range. And finally, the early closing hour means that bargains can sometimes be had in the 11PM to midnight time frame on weekdays. After closing many ladies will go to 49rs or Blitz.

1. Blitz (Novotel)/5/10: Quite nasty bar, most are from PRC (70%), 20% black (ethiopian, Ghana, Nigeria) and the rest from East of Europe or central Asia (Uzbekistan, Russian, turkemistan,.)

Timings: 7. 00-2. 30/3. 00am each day

Rate: depend on the lady and how you negociate but max should be 300- 500 dhs for a night. Do not go more than that. Not worth. Best time to go after midnight. Avoid to go on Thursday (it's packed and extremely smoky).

Average looking: 5-6/10 but time to time you can find some 8/10 depend on your luck.

2. Sand hotel (basement): up to date, it's closed. Problem due to a alcohol licence. 6/10 Many russians and central Asia (Uzbekistan, tajikistan, turkemistan, etc.) and some blacks. There was some nice ladies but often quite expensive. (500-1000dhs/night). Arabic crowd.

3. Illusion night club (Le Royal Meridien) 8/10

One of the best place to pick-up a girls. Quite expensive (700-1200). A lot of russians, central asia, but also some arabic, black and Chinese (a few). Drinks are quite expensive as it's a 5 star hotel. Big arabic crowd again. On Thursday and Friday extremely busy, so price are very high. Very smoky. Entrance fee (100 dhs).

4. G club (Gauloise club- Le Meridien Abu Dhabi) 7/10

Same as before. Popular night club, with many ladies from central asia and russians and a good arabic choice also. Few Chinese only. Price can be high as before from 500/600 to 1000dhs) a night always depends on how you negociate. You find some very good looking girls but expensive.

Entrance fees: between 75-100dhs (2 drinks included).

5. The Trap bar (Dana Hotel) 6/10 for girls, 7-8/10 for the atmosphere.

90% Chinese, (looking between 4-7 max), rest are black from Ethipia, Gana, Nigeria or Sierra Leone. (a few are sexy). Girls always try to ask for 600/700 night but do not accept as you can go easily to 400 a night. Except maybe on Thursday. I would say never give more than 500dhs. Not worth for the kind of girl you can find there. Drinks are cheap. In my opinion, it's a good place to start to have some drinks and chat with some ladies and then moving up to 49e bar at the 15th floor.

Open every day from 12. 00pm to 2. 30am (happy hours until 7. 00). Too early in the afternoon, not many girls. Best time to go from 8pm to 12. 00am

Entrance fees: 50 dhs (2 drinks included), 75dhs on Thursday & Friday.

6. 49e Bar (Dana hotel, 15th floor) 8-9/10. My preferred bar. Just a personal choice.

A mix between Chinese and central asia (many from Kyrgystan, uzbekistan, tajikistan, etc.) if a girl says she is from Kazakhstan, so she lies. No one is from Kazakstan, as there is a big economic situation difference between those 2 countries. No Kazakhstan ladies would go to Abu Dhabi or any other arab country to do this job.

Usually Kyrgys ladies, etc. Would ask 600-800 dhs for a night but you can negociate to 500 a night sometimes 400dhs if the lady like you. I usually get kyrgys for 400/500 dhs a night (and leaving me only the next day in the afternoon but you need to negociate). The PRC will try to ask the same but never accept. Not the same level, central asia ladies are a level up when it come to sex and body. Most Chinese are not so young (almost 40 yrs). Do not alway trust a Chinese lady who say I am 27-28, meaning she is 35 minimum. The Kyrgys I met are quite young 24-28, with often very nice body, tall and sexy.

Closing time: 3. 00 am Most central asia girls arrive at 11. 00pm. So best time from 11. 00pm to 1. 30pm.

Entrance fee: 60 dhs (2 drinks included) and 85 dhs on Thursday & Friday.

7. Al Ain Palace, English pub (Al Ain palace hotel, adjacent to Le royal Meridien) 3/10 averahe looking: 4/10

All from PRC and several black. Close at midnight every day except on Thursday (1. 00m). What to say. Very pathetic bar. Not recommended. Entrance fee 50 dhs (NO DRINKS!)

8. Finally some extra bars where you can find a few hookers:

- Englsih sport bar, basement at Crown Plaza (city).

-PJ's Oreilly's Irish Pub (Le Royal Meridien), on Friday only you might find.

Getting into the hotel is no problem. The trouble only starts when you realize that there is a seperate guard on the entrances to the wings with the rooms.
