Warning: Wellness Spa under surveillance
Lo fellow mongerers,
Wellness Spa, known for its great marocan bath and semi-decent massages, has been raided twice by the police and is under surveillance. It's one of the few places in Abu Dhabi were ladies provide massage to male clientele, which is officially not allowed outside licensed hotels.
While the massage is decent (no sex, no hj, but very sexy touching once you visit a few times), I would suggest not going there for now out of fear of being present during the next raid. As I have recommended this place to other members of the board on previous occasions, please consider this a warning.
In any case, reliable sources said that the salon has stopped giving massages by ladies to men. Only known customers are still getting a female masseuse and even that is being restricted.
Too bad another one bites the dust, it was a nice place and the marocan bath was really something special, esp when you asked for soap massage only, so no scrubbing. The Fili girl who used to serve me would convienently never wear a bra, which made for some pleasant sights, mostly when she would shower you off: she sitting in front of you washing your dick while you look down her shirt. Again, never got hj, but didn't push for it either.

Blitz was still packed even though 49ers reopened. Possible reason is that the girls have to pay 2000dh monthly entrance fee. QQ used to go to 49ers, but is now staying at Blitz since they only charge the girls 1000dh. But she told me 49ers have better paying customers, she can get 700-1000LT whereas Blitz is usually 500.

Re hotels, seems what I said a week or two back about tightening up and paperwork is becoming more prevelant then. I said that places like the Millenium etc. now ask for passports when previously they ignored girls and you just had a cheery smile from the doormen. I once walked in with 3 girls and the doorman gave me five and was beaming! (The doormen are characters when you know them! ..and the sex was crap, not the 4 some I envisaged)
Prices, Love Tactics, 500 LT is about right for 49 or maybe the Ali Pally but Blitz closer to 300 would be about right, maybe pay more for the nicer girls or at the moment I understand it has the overspill from 49. The regualr girls in Blitz and outside go with some right rough folk so you should be able to get a good price if you are a 'kind face and easily satisfied' type in their opinion. If you pay 500 for an easy time you will be very popular. The hierachy for regular girls is typically 49 at the top then AP then Hojo and Blitz. One or two of the better ones go to Galouises. It is worth noting though that some girls move on to other venues if they can't get work in their preferred.
Nice guy, I certainly wouldn't be looking for a girl that was tired after dealing with a load of punters already today...would put me right off! One of my gf's friends was a master of balancing out punters and playing them off for money, stories and fitting several in during a day. Great stories but opened my eyes to how it all works. Sometimes would be 5 or 6 guys in a day and she had 2 or 3 all paying for a residents visa that I knew about!

Intercon is not as far out as the Shangri La just the wrong side of the island and a taxi ride but at least is not as bad as being in Dubai as the traffic is not that bad late at night despite Salam St being closed off.
Try Crowne Plaza as very reasonable very GF (ask LT) or Al Maha Rotana Suites (ask Jimmy the One) as closer to the action like Blitz and 49ers
I was in Blitz last week too with Kyla - band was crap, too many PRCs for me (am a Fili lover...) and after while we left and had fun

As a side note, since I came to AUH, I was offered four times free sex with a girl desperate for a place to stay. Your analysis of AUH is dead-on. Very strange economics at work. Prices have gone up, perhaps, but I have not been aroudn long enough to notice. Stories from others confirm, though, that opening prices of 1000LT/500ST is the norm in Blitz, these days.
I always felt proud of *only* paying 500dh LT at Blitz, and then you're saying that you are able to get LT for 300. Damn! But great to hear, will simply pay 300 next time (I never negotiate up front, makes you weaker I feel) and see if they want me the next time I see them.
I still wanna try the "massage only, no sex" angle to see if prices come down even further. Often, sex is not that important to me at 3AM, but nice cuddling is.

Blitz & Intercontinental Hotel
I was in AD last week and decided to go to Blitz and check things out having been away for two years.
Blitz was heaving when I got in although there were plenty or girls; mainly PRC with a few Eastern Europeans.
I was approached by a very shy PRC who it turns out is called Wavy.
Description.
About 5 ft tall, very slim build and dressed like a librarian with a striped jumper and a long grey skirt. Her age, in the lights of Blitz looked in the region of 25 but in reality, having seen her in daylight I would say closer to 35 although her body is certainly more like a late teen.
She was quite a shy character although all was good fun for 500AED and nobody questioned us as we entered the hotel. Wavy is a talkative girl, quite shy, very slim build and not very experienced. DATY produced a stunned look on her face as I am not entirely sure she had ever been on the receiving end before although she certainly enjoyed it. The following morning I was the recipient of a cracking BBBJ to completion which was enthusiatically administered until about 30 seconds after I blew at which point she was in the bathroom making noises like a tomcat with a spiky furball.
A couple of nights later I met her again and we headed back to the Intercontinental. Sadly, the fun police were on duty.
The desk manager demanded paperwork and would not let her into the hotel because the hotel has a policy of original passport or work permit only, no copies regardless of their quality.
The following night I organised to go back with another PRC. I asked about paperwork and she confirmed that she had her passport with her. Again the fun police were out and she had a copy rather than the original. No entry was permitted.
There are two things to glean from this.
1) The Intercontinental Abu Dhabi is not really GF.
2) If you find yourself having to stay in this overpriced place make sure the girl has real paperwork and not a copy.
The intercontinental is certainly not worth the money. It is too far out, the staff in the restaurants and bars are poorly managed and even without their Victorian School Teacher attitude I would never stay there again.

And after 2-3 clients I can see that tactic working well, as you are 'cream' on top of what they earned (no pun intended).
In general the capital is still expensive, rents are not coming down like Dubai , where friends are able to rent 2 bed fllats for under AED 100,000 (here in AD twice that price and still the landlords can get it - crazy pricing). And if they know the rooms are to be used PRCs etc they will try and rip them off so for the WGs I dont see prices coming down, just a problem in the number of available punters.
Blitz last week was very busy but if 49ers does open tomorrow (as reported by LS) then where will the girls go. Those regular at Blitz may see less punters than usual. Different dynamics here than Dubai.

Strange Economics
Abu Dhabi is heading in the wrong direction. Although hotels and car rentals are starting to cut prices driven, I would think by the economic situation, the WGs have not. Now I realize that some of their expenses have gone up, particularly visa expenses, but the loose cash in the hands of mongers has to be contracting.
The norm in Abu Dhabi PRC market has increasingly become 500AED. I even hear this number mentioned for ST! I have yet to pay 500, in fact I've maintained my 300 norm for LT but it requires a bit of work. Being a "nice guy" helps. Treating ladies with humor and respect helps. Being nicely dressed and not drunk helps. Being really old helps (hey, how many times could he do it!)
But my latest tactic is to work a stable of ST queens ... some very nice, and offer my 5-star bed after they've had 2-3 clients and just want to crash. In fact they seem happy to get another 200-300 for a LT which often goes well into the next day. NG 99 always gets some interesting stories of the evenings sales activity and sometimes one for good measure before sleeping. The morning activity is always great as they have slept well and feel no pressure. It's a win-win. Now if any of my regulars start disappearing from my sleep over crew I'll be kicking myself for posting this!
