Located at Strand Hotel. Was out on Saturday with a friend and her cousin. Got there around half 9 pm, its a very small place 80% of the tables had reserved tags. Has a live band / DJ. Looked rather dead and was thinking of finding another place. But a bucket of 5 coronas for 100 was tempting so stayed. BTW no entry fee. Ordered some burgers and chicken lollipops, which was just edible! The band started just after 10. One of the girl singer's lower dress was just stockings and panty! The place started to pickup after midnight. The reserved tags are just put there for the regulars. By 1/2 am the place was rocking and full to capacity to the point people waiting outside. 2 good looking pinays on their own requested my friend if we could buy them a drink as their 'date' hadn't turned up. I knew that was a game but WTH, one of them was really hot. I'm sure they were part timers! Unfortunately my friend date wouldn't let me near them though we had them join our table for drinks. My date wouldn't even dance, didn't leave my side! Hardly a dance floor but the patrons didn't seem to mind. Draw back for me is the place being so small and over crowded. But definitely a place to try out alone, I'm sure something good can be had on a weekend. Definitely not a regular pickup joint as most of the people were couples coming in or groups of friends. We left around half 3 the place was still rocking. Bucket of 5 coronas for 100 is a good deal.

Talk to any of the girls in dubai and if you mention abu dhabi, theyll tell you they got tons of customers making the 1. 5 hour drive.

I agree with the sentiments below. I had a couple of nights at LM which is adjacent to the new 49 ers last October. Standard there was much lower than the halcyon days of 2000-2010.

Rates are higher, girls are more jaded & a lot less fun. The bar that replaced Blitz was also a shadow of its former self.

Abu Dhabi used to be as good as Manama for casual fun. Now it's around the same level as Muscat.

I do not have the level of experience you have in Dubai, and my observation is purely based on two outings in AD. But I find this statement a bit conflicting to my personal experience. I am not new to mongering and have pretty high standards when it comes to women. And I found a good assortment of mid-20's.

I am sure you got lucky. And I wish I would to. But in general, it is not worth wasting an evening in Abu Dhabi and hoping to get lucky. Unless, of course, one is desperately short of time.

-Many of the mid-20's girls will, on inspection of the passport, turn out to be late 20's / early thirties.

-rotation is slow in AUH, many of the providers have been there for years. Dubai, there is always a fresh supply of talent.

-pricing is generally better in Dubai

Well I have four nights in Abu Dhabi and two nights in Dubai. I am sure between the two locations I will at least have one epic experience. I like a bit of variety in terms of scenery. I like the slower pace in Abu Dhabi and I am then planning to sample the Iranians and Syrians in Dubai.

I have been in Abu Dhabi for over 16 years and it used to be a heaven for mongering in 2006-2009. But for past so many years, I go to a spa for a quick release when the tension is too much. Otherwise, I head to Dubai. My 2 cents.

The reason I booked corniche is on the assumption that Cristal bar will have the Arab talent. However reading trip advisor it seems like the hotel is being used for quarantine or something so most social stuff is dead. Can someone confirm if there are working girls in the bar or not. Is there a better spot to find Arabs?

Do you think Tryp will be too much of a dive? The booking is refundable so I am considering to either find another place or head to Dubai instead.

49 ers had good selection last week. I went on a Thu and took out a Kyrg. There were numerous Uzbeks that were really nice.

From the Dubai forum I recall you are a senior in the Dubai scene. Not sure how the AD Uzbeks compare to the ones in Dubai but I was pleased with what I saw at 49 ers. Going rate is 600 for 2 hrs, 1000 for overnight.

If you have a choice I would suggest LM due to convenience. Though Southern Sun had nicer rooms.

On my recent layovers in AD I had called a few places to check their cover charges. And having experienced the weekdays and weekend action, I highly suggest a weekdays action if your plan allows that.

Weekend: all include 2 tabs.

- khorosho 100.

- 49 ers 120.

- illusions 150.

Weekdays: all include 2 tabs.

- khorosho 50.

- 49 ers 90.

Weekend experience has been poor for me. Girl to guy ratio is low. And I thought the quality was just not there. Too much competition. So if you must choose a weekend bring a larger wallet.

Imo, if I were to pick a day, I would almost certainly pick Thu evening (personal experience). The clubs weren't super full, good girl / guy ratio.

Recent overnight layover in AD on a Sat evening. Checked out 49 ers and looked for a repeat with the Kyrg in my last encounter. She wasn't available. So I decided to not take the 120 cover and check out Khorosho. Cover at Khorosho was 100. Parking at 49 ers was 25.

That decision to not go into 49 ers was the first of numerous bad decisions that day. Khorosho had very poor selection. Perhaps 2-3 WG's that were 8's among a group of 100+ hungry guys. Spotted a cute Uzbek but she was grabbed before I could strike a conversation. There was another Uzbek who was tall and cute and was super flirty with everyone including the bouncers. I started talking to her. First words out of her mouth was the price (1000 for whole night) before anything. Though it felt too aggressive and a mood killer, I negotiated her down to 600 for 2 hrs /2 shots. Then she started nagging about taxi money and time and other stuff. Think something I said to her totally pissed her off.

Out of pure desperation (it was already 12:30 am. Had to leave hotel at 5:30 am to catch flight) I took a Turk who wasn't so bad initially. Seemed like a 5-6 max, looked 35 though she claimed 25. She was flirty and fun. Check in at SS was easy. Once in room I started to feel like an idiot. Best to think with the head and walk away than to think with your nutts and make a poor call (such as this time).

The girl just wanted to make the pop and leave. Body was 3/10 and that annoying moaning was so loud that I felt like punching her. Popped first quickly. Then an an award silence for 5 minutes. Now she wants me to pop a second time so she could go. After 45 minutes of action little man wouldn't pop. And she's exhausted out of her mind. I just wanted her gone but also wanted my $$$ worth of pop. Sorry its business. So I took over and after another 15-20 minutes of friction I popped on her. Her first reaction was "eww". Wtf?

She left in a hurry after that. I just lied down in acknowledgement of the idiot I was that night. That was the ultimate lowlight of my mongering life. 0/10 experience.

Thanks folks for all your guidance. Had a recent stay at LM and chose 49 ers. It was a Thu evening - 90 cover (was initially quoted 120 BTW).

I went at 10 pm and realized not much was happening yet. Came back at midnight and there was a lot going on.

I was seated at a table with 2 Kyrg girls. The first (sitting across from me) immediately caught my attention. Young spinner, super cute. But OMG so much attitude. Not very forthcoming / responsive. The other girl was friendlier but wasn't my type. Looked around and was pleased to see a good 8-10 WGs that were 8's. There was a good mix of ethnicities imo.

After a few minutes I was able to switch spots with the other girl at my table and strike a conversation with the young one with the attitude. Agreed for 2 hrs for 6 reds.

Check-in at LM was a breeze.

At the room the girl opened up more. She's a 23 YO Kyrg who seemed very fresh. She has a "hard to get me" attitude. And I really enjoy that to be honest. We ended up having a wonderful time. She played some nice arabic music on her phone and had an amazing way of singing along. Chatter for a bit between the two pops and learnt more about her. She did leave a little sooner than 2 hrs (I gave her one of my drink tabs) but as I was really tired from travelling I didn't mind.

All in all this was an amazing experience. She left me her number. Which I mistakenly lost and later regretted heavily (more on that on next review).

I would (and have already tried to without success) repeat with her in a heartbeat. Just that I won't be back in AD in the foreseeable future.

This is Hanna. It's been a long time since I've seen her, but I know she's still around and still popular.
