On reflection maybe could have been less hurry and changed the emphasis slightly.

When I said 'many' in relation to them coming here thinking of getting a real job then rather it was a response to A Sunny's description of the girl who related her story. In my experience 'many' girls have a story they came here on the expectation of getting a real job, or continue to suggest they would like to find a real job. My original post maybe implies 'many' is 'the majority'. Also of course it means if you choose to ask about why they are here rather than they volunteer give their story to you. Most girls I always like to have a chat and get to know a little, take interest, better for me and maybe for them. Not really one for jumping straight in the sack me if I have a choice.

The majority I'd agree are likely know what they are getting into. Especially when you see real sisters, cousins and even a real mother and daughter at it!

I guess when I talk about the business attitude it's my exposure to so many of the girls 'out of hours' and hearing so many stories. Miss X doesn't do business but many friends are ex-business or still at it. Seem to have so many stories of playing clients, particularly less experienced guys than many people in this forum, I'm amazed how they get away with some things. I can see how I have been played though specially when you see connections with girls later.

Don't you think though 11B repeat punters are still dealt with in a 100% business way? Some girls would sooner have repeat business with a safe client then risk someone new for maybe an extra 100 or 200 Dh. Of course the repeat client will call them or likely respond to their (missed) calls making more business for future. They also become friends sometimes who may help them out with additional costs like sick parents! Repeat clients also mean no bar entrance charges and if you get about 10 or so regulars in your phone you probably have enough to keep you going most of the time. That's good business planning.

Actually when I was refering to the 100% business attitude originally I also had in mind how they spend and attempt to save money away from their work. Generally prices of things in AD seem to be about 2 or 3 times that in China, consequently girls (in my experience) seem to save every Dh if they can, unless they are on a clothes or handbag shopping spree. Overheads are kept to a minimum so no tips in taxi's and taxi fares preferably extracted from punter. Makes a big difference over a week or a month of working.

Like that description re 'many water'. Yes, so true, really think for the first time ever sex here means in some cases at least they come to enjoy it rather than simply duty. I've been with quite a few very new girls and it can be an interesting or frustrating experience. There are those who won't let you try or get relaxed for DATY as it's considered dirty or it tickles, and those who are simply amazed and find something in sex they have never had before. 'ai yoh, tianna...many water coming!' (or something like that) is something I like to hear!

Very true, and why I like to hook up with a girl just back from a home leave. They have stifled 'desires' as well.

The PRC's are very pragmatic, though they are not as hard as one might presume in reading your statement. And I wouldn't say they are totally business oriented. Certainly a number could make better money than mine, but repeat business with a nice guy (I hope), in a safe environment, having some fun, a bit of "normality" playing house, does count for something with a number of them. Like you say, a win-win situation.

However, they are good at playing for sympathy (read 'setting the scene for more money'), 'spinning yarns', being economical with the truth but almost certainly the story is true.

Now here, MY experience the OPPOSITE. While a few (PRC's) might explain WHY they are here, most don't. As you said, they understand it's bad for business - I want to have a happy time, not be brought down; ruins the facade. Not to say they aren't honest; they're just pragmatic, and if THIS is what is required to take care of the family... But it's FEW and FAR between that I felt that I'm being set up for "more", and I am QUITE familiar with the "papa fall down, break arm, go hospital; buffalo die..." spiels. (Though I will say, it did happen the other night, but it was a straightforward request: she'd asked for 800, we'd agreed on 600, then, back home, she tried for the 800 again, with 'explanations'... Like I posted, my response was 'let's go back to the bar', and that was that. But looking back, that was rare and remembered specifically for its rarity).

A Sunny - It's probably true re the story. This is typical of many girls here as many worked in factories at home and many come from villages. What they do here is far removed from their life in China and the two lives are totally seperate (like many mongers here I'm sure! ) Families think they are secretaries and waitresses and never even consider what they are doing beyond that. Often the girls, at least in the initial stages, do not see themselves as prostitutes, they see places like the AP as a potential hunting ground for a husband or else someone to 'help' them with money. Many would be great assets to the big companies! I always thought I played the girls but I have been amazed how many times I can look at my successes and situations from a different viewpoint and see I have been 'played'. What probably isn't true is your estimate of age...Chinese girls seem to look considerably younger compared to other nationalities but then seem to wake up one morning at around 50 and look 60! WR - PRC contingent is variable. Many of those in HoJo's have failed to secure business in AP and then move on to HoJo's just across the road, or sometimes go to Blitz which is free to get in and try for business (see my earlier posts re Blitz etc. in August). I've picked up a couple of gems (and many 'ok's) in HoJo's but many in there are decidely dodgy looking, probably explains the dim lighting. Both places are a bit of a dive and open to some seriously grubby looking locals, the local youths and other characters you probably won't see in AP or 49.

You can be lucky anywhere. We stopped to talk to two of Miss X's friends a few days ago...both are 7/8's to look at and both were going out a bit late as wanted more business and were heading to HoJo's (AP already closing). I'd love to shag one of them, mid-20's, long legs, very pretty face (wish I'd met her a long time ago but now likes the money too much) chatted to her a few times but no chance of shagging in current situation. Wingman led me to a bar high up on the building where he had previously spied a lot of PRCs – things were looking up with a reasonable PRC travailing up in the lift with us, but we were far too early and the place was deserted. The PRC, headed elsewhere. The only upside was we were charged 20 AED for two beers. A group of PRC’s arrived, but they were blokes – we moved on.

Atmosphere (?) Royal Meridian 10:35 to 12:30

I may have got the name of this club wrong. However it’s on the 4th floor and I understand there is another club called Illusions on the 2nd Floor.


49rs. Al Dana Hotel 9:30 to 12:00

Arrived around 9:30. We were stopped and told we needed to pay 40 AED – but two drinks included, so very reasonable if you are used to Dubai pricing. The band had already started and the place was lively. This is one of my favourite UAE bars.

Nice FR, Illusions is where you were on the 4th Floor, expensive as well especially the weekends as the locals come out to play and the WGs have high price expectationssome in excess of AED 1500 LT (basically 6 hours)

49ers band is great fun and good, one of the better ones in AD. As for Safari (likely the place you wnt in Hojos) the quality must be picking up as normally 2/3s at best. COP can you enlighten me on this as you are know to the PRC contingent in town.

Try Manila Bay and Ratskys next time for local Filipina but not WG - few WG Filipina in the bars

I had been in this Filipino bar before; my friend said the band was new and very good. The place was pretty sparse, The band was very good and had with three good looking Filipina singers including a little spinner with a very powerful voice. Music was less to my taste, ballads and pop rather than rock but very professionally delivered. Apparently the place gets very busy at weekends with lots of civilian PI eye candy.

50 AED entry fee including one drink, WGs 100 % CIS somewhat reminiscent of Rocafellers in Dubai. I was accosted by a large Ukrainian shot putter, not my type and moved on. The place was filling up and there were some very nice looking girls. Many were very nicely dressed. I spotted a tall, oriental ‘stani, Short skirt, long legs, boots, nice face. I was tempted. Eventually I went over to interview her and I thought it was highly likely I would make a deal. Got through the basic introductions and she barks “buy me juice!” The Illusion some how shattered, it was either lack of English or she is practicing being a dominatrix.

By now it’s getting late and a heavy day was ahead. The big head was back in control and I headed back to the hotel alone to sleep.

Second Night.

My choice this time, we were heading to 49rs. I had been apprehensive as I had seen an advertisement advertising the brand new band, however, on further reading this was another bar called 49rs in darkest Deria.


49rs. Al Dana Hotel 9:30 to 12:00

There were a number of PRC, one or two CIS and lone African. Rather like the Seaview in Dubai M/F ratio is misleading with a lot of non mongering customers. It was the same band as before Ramadan and they are excellent. They really rock and the two Filipina singers are very hot.

WG numbers picked up through the evening. While I did spot some of Barri’s heavier PRC’s with a John Wayne walk, Girls, my regular would call “Farmers”, but there were also some very nice ones, (Seaview rather than Rattlesnake). The African remained a lone African and the CIS contingent increased mostly older and heavier but not in the T54 category. Later there was a Russian stunner in hotpants, fishnets and thigh boots.

There was a group of Filipinas but the looked like civilians out celebrating, and were known to the band.

PRC marketing was subtle, mostly standing close by and trying to get you to make eye contact. I did a few interviews, finally with a elegant looking girl in a black cocktail dress, she was tempting. But again it was getting late (for me) and another early start was scheduled for tomorrow. Work is the curse of the mongering classes.

The Hotel.

I stayed at the Al Maha Rotana on Hamdan Street, I was very happy with the accommodation, it’s a dry hotel but GF. I observed comings and goings, and I my wingman had a guest recently with no Hassel and no request for ID. When I told girls where I was saying they knew the place was GF. It is also well placed with several pickup bars close by, Sands Hotel, Howard Johnsons, Ally Pally and the Royal Meriden all in walking distance.

Guys, I have previously posted several months ago about being able to pick up in the malls. You sometimes get the wink or more from PRC ladies out shopping. However, don't make the mistake that one guy who came out here did and that was to start chatting up girls in the malls unless they show definate interest. Remember the country we are in, it's the UAE and men approaching women particularly Arab or even Filipino's for dates is pretty alien to them. Even many Filipino's are quite reserved, many are married or not expecting or used to advances off western guys. Granted some are great fun and chatty but it's not across the board.

Most of the women we are used to are obviously a different breed but it doesn't apply to all ladies. I also know for a fact that there are plain clothes LE and security systems everywhere in the malls.

I hope no one is offended but I've seen one westerner in trouble for pushing the boat out a little too far and it's straight to jail here.

1. Filipinas - always an itch I've never scratched, has there been any confirmed increase in available Filipinas in AD? I noted a post a week or so ago that had sighted some available girls in 49ers?

2. Malls - in Dubai it seems that malls are a fertile hunting ground for semi-pro or freebies. Does the same hold true in AD, and are there any tips anyone can share? Also, is the Marina or Abu Dhabi mall better for such action?

Malls - in AD I have never really hunted but there are a few as I see them. In AD Mall they are generally on the second floor around Starbucks hanging around. Eye contact, smile etc and you may get lucky. Also many Filipinas are waitresses so there are a few who will engage as well. this has worked for me in the past

Same for Marina Mall but they hang around the ground and first floors.

Really pot luck MMH, and beware as some may not be WGs but they may still be up for fun

Most Filipinas IMHO are not bar girls unless tehy are non WG and they go to Manila Bay, Ratskys, JoJos etc.

Well thanks to this FF I visited twice the MP in the Royal Appartements Hotel
next to the Grand Continental hotel.
Massage cost 100 AED and 200 more for HJ.
Both are worth the visited and it's easy. You enter the building and take the elevator to level C. Next to the elevator there is a small desk with a Chinese girl. Pay them 100 AED and enjoy.
I had two different girls and both were ok.

I also visited AP on saturday evening but honestly it is not my style. Hunting with 50 guys after maybe 20 chicks.... Everybody 's choice...
