4th trip to KL coming up and did Penang last year which was a dud, now trying Kuching first time so a few questions please.

1. Been RTFF and other sites on Kuching (hard to get info esp up to date) Is the best area to stay down at waterfront (Chinatown I believe?) Hotels like Pullman, Hilton et al. Any good hotels a step down from this. Need pool, good buffet bfast, GF of course and possibly close to the scene.

2. Seems like there are lots of massage parlours. Me not a real fan prefer take home to hotel. Any FL scene? Heard Wechat is good? Any recommendations for pubs, clubs, disco for FL?
