I could not agree more. I'll bet I spent 40 or more nights up on the 7th floor through the worst of COVID. I don't say that to brag. It was pretty stupid but, I can fill a book with my stupidity in Tijuana. My point though: I caught COVID. I know with certainty which girl I picked it up from. But it was not bad for me. And after I got the all clear, I was right back at it. So I might still have some natural immunity. I was vaccinated and I am still within my 6 months. So I figure I've done all I can. If I get it again, I was meant to have it. This sounds foolish even as I type it but if I'm going to kick the bucket from a night of partying in Tijuana, well, it's better than an unexpected car accident. Who knows what the future holds. We've got to maximize the time we have. Obviously, I take precautions to limit any damage I can do to others. But at this point, I don't think we even know what precautions to take. COVID has already stolen so much from us for 1.5 years. Am I foolish or reckless? Maybe. But you can't take it with you when you go. Just my opinion and completely respect the decisions of others to not follow my idiocy.

I planned another trip in about 2 weeks. I'm expecting circumstances may change. But I'm fine with it if it's something like the speakeasies.

I've read a lot of figures and opinions on here. Particularly regarding Delta and reinfection. What I'd like to add is just be aware of what the figures actually represent. The number that is being pushed heavily by the US govt is the number of vaccinated that have caught it is small. That is correct. But it's extremely misleading for several reasons. First, we don't measure the numbers the same way for unvaccinated. A better metric would be identifying how many of the newly infected have been vaccinated. That would give us a better estimate of vaccine effectiveness. But that's not really possible. As others have said, vaccine efficacy may wane. And we certainly undercount asymptomatic vaccinated cases because they aren't even testing in many cases.

The other thing I'd highlight, and admittedly, I take these figures with a grain of salt, but Baja is not yet showing the spike that some states in the US are seeing.

In the end, do what you are comfortable with. If you have underlying health issues or an overwhelming concern of infection, wait it out. The girls will be there on the other side. I'll be sure to keep them warm for you. LOL.

Don't know about others. But my long term effect is brain fog. My short term memory is shot. I am having difficulties remembering basic shit like names or people or things. I can describe them, but I sometimes forget what the fuck they are called. Never happened before.

You're just getting older. My memory is shot as well. I have to write shit down or put it on my calendar. If I lost my phone, then my life would be f'd. Im bad with names, but can recall details. It really sucks when you meet a regular and forget their name, but you know they like their clit licked or finger fucked. I draw a blank when I have to recall their name. Just have to remember their preferences. Plus we are inundated with so much information at our fingertips. Grandparents were able to recall minute details of when they were kids, but I bet if they had smartphones and internet, shit would just get brain dumped.

Surgeons removed chunks of cancerous liver. AFAIK It has not spread to other organs, but the virus is still in there attacking.

I've got to be immune to covid. I'm pretty sure I had it in March 2020 at the start of this mess. I'm vaccinated since March. Just spent three weeks in Eastern Europe partying like a college kid on spring break. The vaccination rates there are real low. I put on a mask maybe 3 times in three weeks. Had to have a negative PCR test to fly back. Was a little worried I'm not going to lie. But my test came out negative. Partied in Tijuana a bunch during the pandemic and never caught covid.

What part of Eastern Europe? I've been obsessed with Romanian music and not sure why. Beautiful women and music. My friends tell me I should go visit Eastern European countries. One is married to a Hungarian.

Would be so nice to sit in the open air of a leafy and breezy courtyard romancing hot and sexy Mexican girls. During the shut down last year Hotel Korea erected a huge tent over its parking lot with fans blowing, $2 beers and girls sent over from Chavelas and HK. That was a healthy and sexy set up. I liked it a lot. But when the bars reopened, girls went back to their bars, left Korea with a few old and ugly putas.

Coahuila and the alley should be closed to car traffic and bars put up tents out on sidewalks for guys and girls to party all night. The weather is warm and dry enough. Lots of bars and restaurants in So Cal have outdoors courtyards with space heaters for al fresco dining.

During the shutdown and before vaccs I went to speakeasies and bars just about every weekend but did not get infected. It's now known vacced people can get reinfected with new highly transmissive variant the and spread the virus, even asymptomatic. My immune system is pretty strong, but It's still risky to me. I don't want to get knocked out for months or die..

Would have liked to have visited Hotel Korea. (don't know where it's at) but sounds like they had a good thing going. Coahuila would be Great if they shut it down. Or at least on the weekends etc. Makes so much sense but I am just an ignorant gringo.

Thanks for the feedback Captain. I think I am pretty much on the same page as you. Two weeks ago was different as I assume two weeks from now will be. I feel it would be better in my case to wait until after Labor Day to see where things stand.

I have tried being in denial but as you say going back to Square 1 (isolation) doesn't seem to be a bad idea right now. At least for a few weeks to see where this Delta is headed.

Sad to think this could have been avoided in part with a better response to the vaccine program.

And YES you are somewhat protected with the vaccine from Delta but not 100% and we unfortunately have many examples of this now.

I don't want to be burdened anymore by Covid than I already have been. I'd rather be chill at home "bored" than busy with an illness.
