I notice a lot of bitter people on this board. If you go outside and socialize, then higher probability to catch something. Never heard of someone getting an STD from a handy at the house so just stay home if you're scared. I am not scared of C19, but if it was Ebola, then yeah I'd probably not want to fuck in the DRC. One day we all expire and we don't know when that time will come so just enjoy the ride.

The body can only fight off virus and bacteria if there is enough white blood cells to produce antibodies. If low of the right kinds of WBC, the virus will kill off antibodies and take over the main organs, likely the lungs, and cause side effects that can kill the infected.

Do a blood test, watch your WBC level and assess your own risks.

That sucks Solo. That's the worst scenario I've seen. And that makes me wonder if the Delta is not starting to mutate into something worst right here in the USA.

    White Blood Cells

In my small social circle of fully-vaccinated friends, at least 5 have been tested infected with CoVid-19 again. 1 died, 2 hospitalized with ventilators in the past 2 months, 2 young and healthy ones are very sick with pulmonary symptoms.

    What are white blood cells?

Your blood is made up of red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma.

Your white blood cells account for only about 1% of your blood, but their impact is big. White blood cells are also called leukocytes. They protect you against illness and disease.

Think of white blood cells as your immunity cells. In a sense, they are always at war. They flow through your bloodstream to fight viruses, bacteria, and other foreign invaders that threaten your health. When your body is in distress and a particular area is under attack, white blood cells rush in to help destroy the harmful substance and prevent illness.

White blood cells are made in the bone marrow. They are stored in your blood and lymph tissues. Because some white blood cells called neutrophils have a short life less than a day, your bone marrow is always making them.

    Types of white blood cells.

Among your white blood cells are:

Monocytes. They have a longer lifespan than many white blood cells and help to break down bacteria.

Lymphocytes. They create antibodies to fight against bacteria, viruses, and other potentially harmful invaders.

Neutrophils. They kill and digest bacteria and fungi. They are the most numerous type of white blood cell and your first line of defense when infection strikes.

Basophils. These small cells seem to sound an alarm when infectious agents invade your blood. They secrete chemicals such as histamine, a marker of allergic disease, that help control the body's immune response.

Eosinophils. They attack and kill parasites and cancer cells, and help with allergic responses.

He keeps a close eye on each person coming in and if they walk past without temp check he calls them out and politely informs them that everybody has to do it. These temperature scanners and floor mats that Tijuana business owners are required to install are mostly useless sham. Part of what I would call "COVID Safety Theater".

What medical science has now established, nearly all of the COVID transmission happens during early stages when the transmitters have no symptoms. Many COVID carriers never develop fever or flu-like symptoms. Not to mention, these temp scanners are unreliable, and don't work right in my observations. I had a stomach poisoning and high temps during one of the my visits, which none of the temp scanners at nearby Osco's ever detected.

And those wet rubber floor mats at the front of many businesses, no idea WTF those are all about. I am sure wiping your feet on a rubber mat prevented exactly zero cases of COVID.

This is typical Mexico for you, create an appearance of "following rules" to appease the bosses. Whether those rule accomplish anything useful or serve any purpose is irrelevant.

It's chica friendly but she must have ID. As for strip club chicas joining a monger in Ticuan or any other non-Zona hotel, you should RTFF because this has been discussed multiple times.

BTW, almost every worker I know in Tijuana got their vaccines, from my dentist office to the people that worked in the malls to the chicas in the Zona Norte. I think we the USA donated a lot of vaccines to border cities of Mexico such as Tijuana, and the folks of Tijuana took advantage of the offer.

    Maybe. Maybe not.

This week the CEO of Pfizer said that their Covid vaccine effectiveness drops to 84% after four to six months.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/28/pfiz...ix-months.html

I suspect that might be true.

But I also suspect that Pfizer's CEO is trying to drum up interest and business sales for Pfizer's third (booster) shot.

He already has made a big sale. This week the president of Israel and his wife got Pfizer's third (booster) for themselves.

https://thehill.com/policy/internati...ster-shot?rl=1.[/QUOTE]I agree. The CDC has always recommended the vaccine for folks who survived earlier infections.

Jinxx: Don't you wish you had gotten vaccinated in May or June?

This time I'm almost sure I got it in a public food establishment. One of those gastropark food court places in Tijuana. Are you vaccinated? If not then it's only a matter of time till you catch covid. This "delta variant" is some potent shit. You can run but you can't hide. It'll catch you sooner or later. All last week when I was miserable burning up with fever I was cursing myself regretting that I didn't get vaccinated when I had the chance. Now they even got that 3rd shot that boosts your immune defenses even stronger.

I'll add that I've been working a lot of hours, been under a lot of stress, and haven't been eating properly every day. So my body has been in a weakened vulnerable state. But even if you're fit living a healthy lifestyle that won't stop you from contracting covid. Being fit might cause your symptoms to be minimal, compared to someone who isn't in great health, but it doesn't mean you can't catch it then pass it on to other people.

Good news: Mild covid-19 induces lasting antibody protection

Quote Months after recovering from mild cases of covid-19, people still have immune cells in their body pumping out antibodies against the virus that causes COVID-19, according to a study from researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Such cells could persist for a lifetime, churning out antibodies all the while.

The findings, published May 24 in the journal Nature, suggest that mild cases of COVID-19 leave those infected with lasting antibody protection and that repeated bouts of illness are likely to be uncommon.
