Was in Tijuana last night & there was about the same number of police & LE as usual. I was disappointed that there was not more police by the Hotel CeCe. There was a few drug dealers there. If there was some the Constuticion & Nino's Hero's that would get rid of the most of the drug dealers. Also noticed that Adelita's was still closed.

The crime & cartel violence appears to really spinning out of control. Hard to say how much the Zona has been affected at this. We. All need to use extra caution. !

They come and go like they have been. More of them seem to walk the street though or hang out for a while.

Made a visit Monday afternoon. Saw a lot of military presence and wondered what was up because it's a weekday, and a slow Monday too.

I did not really understand until I got home Monday night and popped on the news, only to see that 4 Americans were kidnaped in Matamoros (Border town to Texas).

All border towns are dangerous because it is the smuggler's gateway to the US market, and cartels will fight to the death to control the gateway.

Well, at least we got 2 of the 4 back alive.

Apparently they offer housing for them and have chicas from El Salvador, Columbia, Venezuela, etc. They had some exotic looks, but I was already drinking with the chica. I asked why she didn't work at HK, and she said she is new and doesn't know the area. I said she would make killer money dancing in HK, but she would have 150-200 other women to compete with every night. She then asked if I'd take her on her day off, but I declined politely. I just got her drinks at $10 and they get $4 cut.

I asked why hang out with me and she said I was tranquillo and most monger brothers are not respectful. I guess the first thing they ask her is if she offers BBBJ which turned her off. I guess even sex workers have standards when it comes to how you ask about their services. I wasn't interested in taking her arriba so sorry didn't get intel, but just found it interesting that Chicago and Deja Vu have foreign chicas. She said $200 in Mexico is roughing it, but she heard for a Colombian that $200 in Columbia is reasonable. It could be possibly the women from Adelitas are moving around to the other clubs throughout Tijuana.
Good info KB. At what time did you visit. I'm just trying to figure out if it's a good place to stop by on a Sunday around 9 pm.

I remember the strip club I liked on Revolution trying to get a cover but I'd usually ask if I could take a walk in first to look around, if they said no I would walk away and usually they called me back. Not sure if you drove or took a cab but some places will pay the taxi a commission to bring clients to the club so if you came by cab they might of been stricter on the cover.

    A cartel hit.

It's a cartel hit. Sicario walked up to her and shot her point blank. It's not an accidental shoot.

I have seen an old woman selling candies, mumbling "cuanto, cuanto," may be she was selling without paying taxes to cartels.

It could be Sinaloa and jncg killing each other.

Likely a hit on a dealer or a mistaken in identity civilian. Every couple of months they sweep the zona of dealers, and a new group replaces them within a week. But sometimes from a different cartel, and there is a turf war. Ask a girl in the alley how often a homicide happens and they will tell you scary shit.

Compared to usa everyone kinda minds their own business. So I let my guard down but I really shouldn't be walking around any of these streets.
Sometimes the spidey sense doesn't work as well when you're not in a familiar environment, I catch myself having to re-calibrate sometimes too.

This isn't just happening in the Zona but it's a daily routine in the city. The biggest difference so far this year is that they have already had about 40 women killed. This seems to be getting people to make more noise and they are expecting a large March next week March the 8th for international woman's day.
