Posts: 657Don't worry, be happy, Tijuana isn't Like the Rest of Mexico per Jackie888?
Jackie888's advice of essentially "Don't Worry, Be Happy" and take another hit on the bong cause all that bad stuff happens somewhere far far away in other parts of Mexico any good?
Todays news from Borderbeat: "Tijuana, Baja California Mexico - 3 Man Team Kidnaps Man in Broad Daylight in Middle of the Street.
By Sol Prendido 7/07/2021 11:30:00 AM 61 comments.
"A new video from the Mexican underworld has just surfaced online. For this broadcast a man finds himself in the throes of (fight) ing his assailants from kidnapping him in broad daylight in Tijuana.
His attackers are dropping blow after blow on his body in the hopes of subduing their victim. Knees jabs and kicks are also being utilized against him. The thugs are snatching him down by his hairs every chance they get, they're trying to tire him down.
The victim is resisting by fighting back as much as he can. But in the end they manage to knock him unconscious while motorists gawk and just drive away. No one bothers to help him whatsoever.
At the last moment a car with front end damage who had been stationed at the tail end of parked vehicles speeds out into the avenue.
The 3 man team successfully pull off their crime without a hitch. Phase 1 of the plot to kidnap their victim is complete. . . . "
Only question I have: Was that "Jackie888" being knocked out in public by a kidnapping gang in Tijuana and thrown into the trunk of a car in broad daylight to be chained to the floor of a dungeon until his ransom is paid? Jackie888 are you still free and giving out free advice not to don't worry and be happy in Tijuana? LOL Suggest tourists follow my advice to not flash wealth and stay in your Tijuana hotel or Club at night with lots of security around. . . Kind of describes the HK Club! Probably the safest club in Baja California!

Jackie.
$27 to install rotors and pads is a very good deal.
For average cars, not the super complex MBZs, BMWs ect, Tijuana's mechanics can diagnose the correct problems and fix them quickly and cheaply, when the best shops in OC would take months and many visits, but they could not find or fix the correct problems.
I suggest bringing oil and filter to the Refracc shop on O 'Campo. They charge only $5 for labor, put the car on the rack and check for any other problems or preventive maintenance. Buy the right parts and bring them the next time. They can replace the parts for you quickly and cheaply.

Posts: 6574 more suspects held in Mexico border attack that killed 19
"Mexico City (AP) - Authorities said Thursday they have arrested four more suspects in the weekend shootings in the northern Mexico border city of Reynosa that killed 19 people, 15 of whom appeared to be innocent bystanders.
Another suspect was detained earlier after being wounded during the apparently random gun attacks Saturday.
Prosecutors in the border state of Tamaulipas said the latest arrests came during raids that also freed 18 kidnap victims, four of whom are believed to be USA Citizens.
In one raid on a house east of Reynosa, police found 10 kidnap victims, two of them Americans. One man had ben abducted three weeks ago and was still being held even though relatives had paid a ransom for his release, authorities said.
A USA Woman and her 3-year-old daughter from Edinburgh, Texas, were found in a raid on another house. They had been kidnapped when they entered Mexico to search for the woman's husband, who had disappeared earlier.
The other 14 kidnap victims were Mexican citizens, ranging from nurses and an engineer to store and business employees, prosecutors said. . ."

Might want to avoid flashing cash and expensive jewelry or cars in Mexico and not leaving your hotel at night. . . Also only drinking from sealed cans or bottles to avoid waking up with your wallet gone.

I thought nothing is worse than eating HK's dead-fish pussies, but Artiste is even meaner hehe.
Had no idea Bar Reno has a sewer. Also I thought all Tijuana's feral dogs are processed into chivo birria at tacos stands and Chinese chow houses?

What can go wrong with your Camry? A taxi driver in Tijuana told me his old Camry had gone over 1 and a half turn on the odometer, which was 1.5 million miles. It was an used car bought from California but everything on it was original despite all the deep pot holes and high curbs jumping at cars hehe. Of course he drives slow, unlike me.
If you can cross quickly into Tijuana, bring your own oil, filter, coolant ect, mechanics at Refractionary can change oil and flush radiator for $5, at the same time checking for any oil leaks, broken or bent parts under the car. Once they confirm the problems buy good parts and bring them back to them to replace.
I had a small engine oil leak, only a few drops a day but it made my garage dirty. Dealer wanted $1,200 labor to seal, independent shops wanted $800, the guy at Refracc charged me only $130. It was 10-hour job. Engine is now dry and clean, running smooth and strong.
Well there were some tapping noise in the engine bay in acceleration, especially in maximum -performance launches hehe. I thought they may have screwed up the timing chain so I brought the car back. The guy refused that it was a timing chain problem as he took all pulleys and the cover off but never touched the timing chain. If the chain was off by only 1 tooth, it could bend valves or crack head. He was trying to make me pay 200 pesos for a new inspection but I refused and pressed the 1-year labor warranty. Finally he relented and test drove the car in the parking lot. He quickly came back, tightened 2 loose bolts at the top engine mount. Car ran smooth again. I had a similar engine noise problem in another car that took many OC shops a whole year and they could not find and fix it. It was a 10-hour job. It was dark when he wrapped it up. He had to put the car on a lift, took engine mounts off and jiggled the engine up and down to remove pulleys due to a very tight engine bay in that car. A big job like that you need a lift and special tools with 2 guys and 4 arms to do properly.
Anything a man ever wants in his life he can have them all quick, good, sweet, tasty, sexy and cheap in Tijuana hehe.
