That's about $2,700 a year. Crazy. No wonder the cops resort to bribe and corruption to supplement this so-called "income".

    Tijuana Policia Hiring.

Went by City Hall and picked up a flyer and some free coupons. Starting pay $4000 pesos a month. HK girls can make that in less than a day, tax free. FYI. The motorcycle cops like to hang out at gas stations near intersections and get you when you speed up to get through the green light before it changes. Speed limit absurdly low - 30 Kilometers per hour. About 23 miles per hour. Cuidado, the ticket is more than 2000 pesos.

Hacked Banco Multiva ATMs in front of Valentina.

    To Monger Hunger.

3 of us withdrew cash from the Banco Multiva ATM in front of bar Valentina on August 11 2018.2 had our cards hacked; the 3rd guy has not checked his bank statement. Those ATMs definitely had blue-tooth reading devices installed and have been stealing from everyone who used them. Avoid them like a plague. It's safer to withdraw money in the US then exchanged for pesos at the money booths.

Bank Ameriica found the suspected withdraw, canceled the card, credit me the lost money and had me file a complaint online for them to prosecute the thief. My bank will deal with Banco Multiva, who can trace the transactions back to the exact hacked ATMs and hopefully the hackers. 98% of violent crimes in Mexico went uninvestigated.

I remember talking about this subject not long ago. It was advised against risking debit / credit card activities in and around the Coahuila Strip. Some bros only make cash transactions and bring a sufficient amount of cash with them. In case of an emergency need for more cash always use reputable bank branch locations away from shady ATMs and people.

Correction: ATM fraud alert -Banco Multiva not Scotia Bank

Saturday night I stuck 2 debit cards into the Scotia ATM for pesos, but both were rejected, could not be processed, before it asked for any PINs. So the Scotia ATM could not have copied my debit cards numbers and PINs.

7 weeks ago I was trying to withdraw money from the Scotia ATM but it was down. I had to use the Banco Mulitva machine in the alley. To make sure I won't be ripped off for big money by an unfamiliar machine, I used a debit card with low balance and gave it the PIN. That smaller debit card was breached this week. So some criminals, may be even Banco Multiva's employees, tapped into the Banco Mulitiva's "secured" data stream and copied the account number with the PIN, sold it to someone who copied them into a fake card, and withdrew $300 today from an ATM in Kansas. Damn. My bank suspected a theft and canceled the card. They are also trying to recover that money.

Just a heads up to the bros, not to use unfamiliar ATMs. I have been using the Scotia machine next to Adelita for 15 years without any problems. I think it's secured and will try it again with the new debit card. I have to go into my bank web site and program specific overseas locations where I withdraw cash.

ATM fraud alert -Scotia machines next to Adelita.

Saturday night I stuck my personal debit card into the trusty Scotia ATM next to Adelita trying to get some pesos to donate to the chicas' orgasms.

I have used this ATM for 15 years without any fraud problems. But the next morning on Sunday someone tried to withdraw $302 from an ATM at Golden Plains Credit Union in Garden City, Kansas. Lucky my bank detected suspicious activity so it blocked the withdrawal, but it pissed me off. Some criminals were able to tap into the data stream and copy the card data as well as the PIN#. This problem has not happened to me in the last 20 years, ever. I am guessing criminals can tap into the data stream coming from anywhere in the world. So any ATM may be vulnerable. In this case the thieves are in another state, may be Kansas, and went to local ATMs to withdraw. They had to know the PIN to withdraw $300 plus $2 fee.

Another bro also reported theft out of his ATM card after using the machine in front of bar Valentina.

Effective immediately I will change the PIN and stop using debit or credit cards in Mexico.

Shooting at school girl corner last week.

    To Artisttype.

Saturday night I was eating Tijuana's best shrimp coctele at the school girl corner on Constitucion.

A witness said a guy shot and killed 2 women who work at one of the stores within 100 feet of that corner. He quickly dropped the 2 women on the sidewalk with only 2 bullets, so it was a pro hit. There were no collateral damages. The witness said there was likely problems with some shady transactions, like drugs.

Saturday night half a dozen young girls were out at that corner, kidding around in their short plaid high school skirts, pretty young smiling faces, long legs, big boobs and all. My heart and sexy life must go on in La Zona, hehe.

I had an Uber pick me up across the street in front of the OXXO. Seems to be a good pick up spot.

Guys, standing around Night Clubs or Strip Club any where in the world late night is not a good idea. Over $1-2, just get the hell out of here. Safety first, no reason to take big risks for little money. Live to party another night!

I never have a problem getting a Uber at night. But perhaps that's because I typically leave the Zona by 10 pm.

I've also gotten into a lot of trouble walking around for better cell signal for uber at night. I don't do that any more. I just pay the five bucks for the cab and save the money by using uber on the way in or the 75 cent bus which I prefer anyway its more exciting to get on the bus with all the Mexican people, some are sexy Mexican woman, and feel like I'm in another country. You can take the bus home if you leave before dark and are willing to stand in the sidewalk although I usually just give it a minute because that street is bad news.

The Uber dispute is a non-issue now. I take Uber when I am heading back to the border these days. I use the taxi van's within Tijuana and for longer distances.

Understand, what I met is you should not be standing around in front of H. Kong or in the Alley late at night, it is just not that safe anymore. You do not want to be standing around for 5-10 minutes, late at night. Better safe then sorry.

    No worries.
