Posts: 6517Antonio Moises AKS El Moy CJNG's sicario arrested
CJNG's hitman Antonio Moises AKA El Moy was arrested driving a black Ford Explorer a few blocks from Las Chavelas in the same afternoon, for the shooting of 2 dealers.
He had been arrested a number of time for weapons charges but was released. He was also being pursued for the murder of a Tijuana policia a few weeks ago.
CJNG has been trying to drive out Sinaloa cartel, muscle in to sales spots and trafficking routes in Tijuana. Expect further violence in the near future.

Posts: 6517The price of a human life
The sidewalk in front of hotel Edouardo has been a hot spot for drugs sales for decades. Buyers are mostly workers and stragglers in La Zona.
Before 2008 drugs sales here were brisk. When the dealers showed up at night, 2 dozens men and women would jostle in a long line to buy their 50-peso packets of rock cocaine. Dealers would hide their stash in the utility holes on the sidewalk, sometimes on top of the air conditioner inside Las Chavelas.
In the last 5 years drugs sales here has gone down drastically. Typically a team of 2 dealers would run back and forth across Callejon Coahuila, mumbling "Cuanto, cuanto," selling to pedestrians and cars small 50-peso packets about every 15 minutes. They sell about 10 hours a day, 40 packets for 2,000 pesos or $100, out of that they would earn 30% commission, $33 a day for both, or $16.50 each.
A number of dealers have been shot to death at that and other nearby spots in La Zona over the year by rival cartels for the right to sell. Dealers know they will eventually get shot to death but still take the death risks to earn $16.50 a day. That's the price of a human life in Mexico.

Like El Captain says just be smart and keep a low profile and try to act respectful and nice. You will be fine.

Posts: 529Thanks for the info, Captain. Falls in line from the intel I got from a taxista couple weeks ago. The cartel heads must be pissed these dumb drug dealers are bringing unnecessary negative attention to their businesses. I too have seen a couple of them dealing back in the alley, out in the open without a care in the world. Always found it odd they werent even being discreet about it since the army and national guard are always conducting their rounds in the area. Hopefully the message has gotten through to them to stop messing around in the zona so people can continue to monger in peace.

Posts: 1068Tijuana. - The man arrested for carrying out an armed attack yesterday Tuesday inside the Las Chavelas bar on Coahuila street in the North Zone, and who shot at agents of the State Attorney General's Office to try to flee, is the suspect in the homicide of the agent of the Municipal Police of Tijuana, Alejandro Arcos Salazar.
This is Moisés Antonio alias "El Moy", 26 years old, who had been arrested on at least three occasions for various crimes related to drugs and weapons, but who was released.
"El Moy" was not only identified by the intelligence areas of both the Prosecutor's Office and the Municipal Security Secretariat as the alleged perpetrator of the murder of the municipal agent, but at the time of his arrest yesterday, he was carrying a squad-caliber pistol. . 40 with which he tried to kill and injured two men in the bar, which tested positive for ballistics with the weapon used in the murder of the Municipal Police.

Also, the truck in which he was arrested, a black Ford Explorer, is the same one he used the day of the crime against the municipal agent and which was videotaped by security cameras.

Carpio Sánchez confirmed when asked by Punto Norte, during the morning session of the governor, Marina del Pilar Ávila, that "El Moy" will be accused of the attempted murder of the two subjects in the bar, but also for the murder of the policeman.

Posts: 65172 shots outside Las Chavelas
A bro with connections to Tijuana's policias sent me pics of 2 guys laying stiff on a big pool of blood right inside Las Chavelas' back door.
The 2 guys have been selling drugs in front of Las Chavelas, Azul's and across the street in front of hotel Edouardo for weeks. I have seen them sell small packets of white powder and mota buds to pedestrians in the alley, thought they were authorized dealers. I heard Tuesday afternoon some guys walked up to them in front of Edouardo, shot both in the chest on the street, not inside the bar. The guys started running inside Chavelas to hide but more shots rang out. Both collapsed on a huge pool of blood right inside the back door.
The pics show the guys in the black Tshirt with blood on his chest, the one in blue teal Tshirt with wounds on his right butt and leg. He had an Oxygen sensor on his left finger. The pics were taken before and during the time they were being given aids on the floor. Policias and EMT guys were in the pics, so pics were taken by LE. Cannot post these bloody pics for obvious reasons.
Looks like the cartels are struggling to control their territories, killing off each other's dealers for the spots to sell a couple hundred $ worth of drugs a day. Another dealer was shot to death in front of hotel Rapido for the same reason. The bros should maintain very low profile, plead poverty with the putas, stop raining greens on stage, and stop feeding food and tequila shots to the meseros like they are your chums. Most HK's putas and workers are linked to the cartels and they will give information to them to curry favors. HK monitors lots of clients, maintaining IDs with real names and addresses with videos and HD pics.
Naturally HK's owner was very upset that he pays big protection money but the violence was dragged into his bar, negatively impacting his business. Don't try to piss him off more hehe.

Posts: 529The article says "2 people attacked with a firearm" so maybe it could mean a pistol whipping instead of someone shot dead? Like others have said, how did a firearm get past security and metal detectors? Unless it was an inside job from someone within the club who's connected. 🤔.

Posts: 140Same here, after arriba sessions, I've been kicking back in Chavelas hanging around with the chicas, so this is hitting too close to home for comfort. There was two chicas that got caught in the crossfire. I haven't heard the status on their conditions nor the condition of the two men that were the target.

Nothing,
Shootings in Tijuana's bars are not surprising. I witnessed with my own eyes in front of the bar on Constitucion next to Libra Parking in broad day light, 2 meseros got shot to death on the sidewalk with people and many paraditas hanging out. A woman was also shot to death at that spot one night. The putas were blase' about people shot to death right in front of them, like seeing a dog got run over by a car, continued to grab guys and sell their pussies as usual.
Last Sunday night another filthy, run down, shrunken old woman, with blood shot eyes, was hanging out at the same spot mumbling. "Cuanto, cuanto. " They were drug addicts themselves, dabbling in unauthorized sales of 50-peso bags of meth in cartel's territory, knowing the risks of getting killed by cartel, but would still do it to feed their own addiction.
May be the sicarios were looking for the guy in Chavelas who's stupid enough to date old, ugly women and ugly enough to urge a noob to sell drugs to mongers in the alley. But how did they smuggle guns into Chavelas with metal detectors at the door and security guys frisking? Perhaps security guys were in cahoot with the sicarios, let them carry their big guns in to shoot stupid guy.
Damn, at Chavelas? So basically inside Hong Kong SMH. Maybe keeping the Chavelas name for that portion of the club was a good idea after all since it will keep Hong Kongs name out of the headlines if anything like this goes down. Just a couple weeks ago I reported about a massive brawl near the small stage in the back area of Hong Kong. I was right in the ramp area, in the middle of the club when it broke out and high tailed it out of there.
