Posts: 140A high ranking member of an org was captured earlier this week, so it's a protests of sorts against the government and an pressure tactic with the hopes of them being released, with everyday people caught in the middle. The burning of Oxxos and burning of cars / buses to shut down highways being their tactic. It had been done in GDL, Jalisco and Guanajuato (Western Mex) in the middle of the week, and now in Juarez, Tijuana, Rosarito and other Baja cities yesterday.

From what I recall, last time the gov went head to head in 2019 with a different org, the gov captured who they were looking for, only to be released a few hours later since the gov was outgunned and the org went scorched earth on innocent civilians.

I think it said that the New Generation Cartel is imposing a curfew from 10 pm-3 am from Friday to Sunday? Some one with better Spanish, please help translate. US Consulate issued a shelter in place for Americans I think.

Posts: 529Damn and I was feeling kinda down because I've been under the weather the last couple of days so haven’t been able to go to TJ. Just been here thinking about the last couple girls I banged at HK. Now I don't feel as bad, perfect time to take a break from the clubs and chill at home after all I guess. Be careful fellas.

Posts: 242010 pm Friday night. Zona Norte went into full lockdown. All bars including HK Adelitas Chicago closed by orders of the military. All business whether it is the barber shop or the fuck motels closed down. About 10 pm Friday night.
Stay safe. BTW the Cartels are really pissed because a couple of their leaders were arrested. I think they have looted about 30 OXXO in Western Mexico.

Wednesday night and Thursday morning shit hit the fan in Guadalajara and Guanajuato. Buses and Oxxos were set ablaze. Today shit hit the fan in Juarez with 11 reportedly dead. Now there's reports in Tijuana of similar things happening.
The US Consulate in Tijuana twitter account posted a warning. Looks like there's a lot of turbulence in Mexico at the moment. Stay safe out there.

Posts: 6515Street dealer arrested in alley
Was in the alley Saturday afternoon. It was sunny and hot.
2 Policia Municipal pick up trucks stopped at HK's back door. 4 cops went out and cuffed one of the street dealers. New dealers keep showing up every week at that spot, so policia will never arrest all of them. At least policias are doing some work.
A cartel's spotter always stands on the balcony of the bar over the entrance of Lira parking at the alley's east end, looking straight down the alley with a phone and a beer in his hands. Any cops move in he would call his dealers. They have enough time to disappear. I am surprised they arrested one guy this time.
Squads of Guardia National soldiers, in full battle gears with automatic weapons, were patrolling on foot and pick up truck on Coahuila and the alley, around the bar block and South in the cathedral's plaza. They stopped a car in the alley near HK's back door and did a long search but found nothing and had to let the driver go. Looks like Mexico is spending money and manpower chasing street-level drug dealers.
