There is a couple of sources out there suggesting that the Covid Delta is infecting double vaccinators, but not hurting them and making them silent carriers. The main reason is that the RDNA vaccines were designed to protect people from serious illness, not immunity from catching the Covid.

So for those guys who are still unvaccinated. Now is a good time to think about your choices because 99.5% of Covid deaths are unvaccinated folks. I personally know of very rich people who are paying serious money to fly to the USA just to get their vaccination.

I think some of those that haven't been vaccinated have antibodies already. I enjoy freedom of choice and those that are young and healthy should not be forced but if your older and have health issues then you take a risk. And it's not just very rich that are flying here to get the vaccine. I know families that have flown here to get the vaccine and they aren't super rich.

Most people probably don't need to put their wallet in the tray. I do, since I have a steel dogtag chain that I use to lower the risk that carteristas aka pickpockets and choke out ratero gangs can get my wallet. My dogtag chain already saved my wallet with my ID and pesos once from a choke out ratero attack on Consititucion.

I have never been asked to take my wallet out as it has no metal. While not as good as TSA I do feel it is helpful so glad they do it. Couple years back someone got a gun into one of the bars with security so its not "great".

They're just going through the motion to give an impression that they know what the fuck they are doing.

Most of those security scans are pure theater. I went through once with a battery charger in one pocket and a vape pen in the other. The machine beeped and I started to reach into my pocket to take them out and the security just waved me through.

Having a vape on hand is really one of the best advantages in Tijuana.

I think it's common to drop money in La Zona, especially when you are drinking and distracted and have the money in same pocket as the phone. I would be shocked if the door guy was ripping people off. That's a quick route to sleeping with the fishes from their bosses.

I don't drink and always aware of my surroundings. I've had meseros take my $20 and never return with my $1 tips. Now I just go directly to the bartender and get change to avoid the hassle of getting ripped off.

Don't be shocked. This has happened to me as well. Headed up to the room with a girl from HK. Went the back alley door and when we were climbing the stairs up to the room the door man told me I needed to scan my forehead for temperature. He had my attention by waving his hand near the temperature reader. Had money in my right pocket. Counted it before heading to room, when got to room what was in my right pocket was gone. I know for a fact the guy pick pocket me!

I keep my wallet in my pocket. Last time coming into HK from alley side, I think the security guy probably took $20 in one dollar bills. I had a bunch of $1's and did not notice it until I sat at the stage going to tip the ladies. It could have fell out of my pocket, but most likely think it was during pat down. The pat down seemed more concerned with what was in my other pocket and drew my attention away from wallet pocket. Who knows, it could have been swiped, fell out of pocket, or a lady could have swiped it. It makes me think I should bring a zippered Fanny pack under my shirt, but $20 isn't too bad. At least I came back home safely, don't have diarrhea and had a good time.

From the alley, last Friday I put my wallet in the tray only to see a local walking real fast toward it. I was ready to punch him in the face had he reached for my wallet. The security guy was too busy stopping another monger trying to come through. We made eye contact and he turned away.

From now on, I'll hold my cash in my hands as I go through the detector.
