Caught in HK with pen or glass-frame video cam

Last Sunday I was sitting, drinking with 2 noobs in the middle of HK in front of the giant TV. The security captain came by, sat down, politely asked the noob about his pen or glass-frame video cam. Noob was not even wearing glasses and I did not see any device on him looking like a video cam. So I told the security guy he must be mistaken with someone else and he backed off.

Apparently a guy looking like him was ratted out or spotted on security cameras video recording in the club. Security is pretty tight in HK. Taking pics of your friends in the club is OK, but I would suggest the bros respect the girls' wishes for privacy and take their pics only with their permission. If caught one may lose his phone or video cam, may be roughed up and banned from the club. If you use your phone in the club, keep it down low so you are not suspected of recording. A few times security guys came by asking me about raking girls' pics. I just showed them the pics of my friends and they were very polite about it. A guy knows a way to route all new pics to a secret folder so security cannot find and delete any pics.

A guy was trying to secretly record a session with a girl in Cascada with a Gopro. HK girls are tech savvy; she quickly found it and called in security. She was mad enough to call in policia to prosecute. The guy was scared shitless, pulled up his pants and ran off across the border back to the US for protection hehe. He was so scared he never came back to HK again. The morale is not to do anything against others' wishes, especially pissy young girls, or they may cause a big problem. Ask them nicely, may be bribing them a little, you will more likely get your wishes.

A few HK girls are open for all-out sex and porn recording in Cascada. Ask around. Lots of girls would do it. You may have to pay a little extra but those clips are probably the most erotic porn you will ever see in your life.

Feel free to substitute the name of your town. I'm confident you had more than 1 murder last weekend. That's the point, in case you're still confused.

I'm guessing the "high ranking gang member" won.

Yeah, you see quarterly "round-ups" of lone-wolf dealers but they're not going to touch a cartel-protected dealer--at least not for long.

Hargrow's post is about Rosarito / Puerto Nuevo is relevant since it's near Tijuana and involves a visiting California man (how many of us are going to Chicago? Which I repost here.

Muni cops are the most underpaid, under staffed, under budget, zero rotation. So they are the easiest to corrupt. You can offer the carrot or stick. Take the money or risk getting your whole family wiped out. They're all locals. Everyone knows where they live. On the other hand, even the Army cannot be trusted because they have shitty rotations. Shitty rotation means everyone knows where you live and where you stash your family. The only reliable group is the Mexican Naval Infantry, affectionately known as the Marines. They are frequently rotated. So it is pissing difficult to identify their family and corrupt them. The worst thing about Mexico isn't that it is corrupted. Hell, we have a ton of corruption back here in the states. The biggest problem is that Mexican corruption is tied to violent organized crime. On the other hand, we just had 400 shootings in the states. So it is difficult to figure out which is worst. By the way, that is 400 shootings over the last weekend. We are not talking about year to date.

They have a office near where the police substation used to be. The private security helped to reduce the muggings that we saw a few yeas back. Much depends on when the different agencies decide to crack down.

    Street dealers arrested

Despite cynicism about Tijuana's policia being controlled by drug cartels, they do arrest street dealers.

Last couple weeks there are no more dealers and front of hotel Edouardo, rest Azul's and hotel Michoacan / Rapido. A Sunday afternoon I saw about 20 undercover cops having a long all-hands meeting inside Libra parking before they fanned out, most likely going after street dealers.

I have seen uniform and undercover policia hiding at the alley's end watching street dealers in front of Edouardo. When they made their move, the dealers scattered and ran into the hotel 's alley open to Calle 1. Hotel Edouardo has built a front door to prevent dealers using it to escape.

One afternoon a policia truck stopped in front of the School Girl corner. 2 policias ran into hotel Rapido and quickly collared 2 guys, dragged them out to the truck. They seem to know the bad guys and their targets and never bothered gringos and mongers hanging out in that area.

Arresting all street dealers would be a very big task. Tens of thousands Mexicans, young and old, males and females, are so poor, ready and glad to take the jobs selling drugs for the cartels. It would be far more effective to follow the money and prosecute the top guys in cartels and government, who directly or indirectly involve in drugs and human trafficking.

Latest news said after the US' arrest of the ex defense minister general, Mexico is no longer cooperate with DEA and has severely restricted its operation in Mexico. Street dealers are not the gravest threat to drugs addiction problem in Mexico and US, it's the top government officials who have massive power and the resources and means to sponsor and support criminal enterprises.

Good luck with that plan. You're not talking regular "mordidas" to cops and politicians. La zona is run by the most powerful cartels on the planet. They don't pay mordidas--they kill people. Any cop or government would be out of their minds (and into the morgue) if they bucked these people. Hell, the army won't even take them on. That is a delicate "ecological balance" nobody wants to fuck with.

Well, obviously they're not. They have open only 4-6 stations out of 22. They've been throttling border traffic for months. It's the government's passive / aggressive way of saying, Stay the fuck home!
