Comparing agencies, Ciaplus has a not so good reputation among the local guys on gpguia. People on that forum give the most props to Karlamodels / Scortshow, which I think is the same operation.

For those of you who are not at least moderately comfortable with Portuguese, I do not recommend the escort route. The reason is unless you can be very specific, you will not get girl you specify. If another girl shows up, it will be difficult for you to call the agency and explain yourself.

Here was my approach and take on the whole experience. I did my research on the sites provided here and selected www.ciaplus.com. Picked out 5 of the girls, wrote down their names and along with CIAplus number headed off to Vanity. Had the guys reception call the service (they actually have their number on the wall along with other services). In about 10 minutes Priscila was there.

In summary, I would say unless you can describe the girl you are looking for with specificity and are willing to maybe send a girl back once or twice until you get what you want an escort service in Rio might not be for you. The agency did everything they said and charged exactly what they said. They were prompt delivered as promised. My thoughts are that the girls employed generally are ones with nice bodies but not as attractive as the better Help or termas girls.

Festinha/Despedida -- When you hire multiple girls for a small party (usually the agencies have deals for 5 girls). "Festinha" literally means "little party." "Despedida" literally means "a farewell." I think they are referring to a bachelor party. Beware of substitutions, as I mentioned in my post below. They will virtually never send the five girls you pick unless you are a complete Nazi about the whole thing.

Dupla -- Two girls (presumably for one guy)

Garota -- Brazilian slang that means "girl" (I think it may be closer to "chick" in English without any particular negative conotation)

Flemengo -- "Flamengo", maybe? This is a an area of Rio.

Pernoite -- Could be command form of "pernoitar" which is "to spend the night". If you see this word alonside a price, I would say you are probably looking at an overnight rate for the girl.

By the way, you would be crazy to pay an agency girl for overnight. Agency overnight prices are nuts -- usually R$400+. They are not really in the business of doing overnights. You do much better with a freelancer. If you want an overnight with an agency girl, get her phone number and have her come over on her day off. The thing you need to realize about Brazilians is that most of them are quite willing to screw you over as long as they think they can get away with it. However, they generally are NOT confrontational, so if you call them on their bullshit they will usually backpeddle like crazy. This principle applies to EVERYTHING in Brazil, not just agencies. If you allow yourself to be fucked, you will get fucked -- hard and repeatedly.

When dealing with Brazilians, keep smiling and be pleasant (nobody likes a "chato"), but also keep working out in the back of your head every possible angle they might use to fuck you, and do your best to head it off. The best way to avoid getting screwed is to be very precise and insistant in your demands and do not pay until your are satisfied. Once the money is out of your hands and into thiers, you have very little leverage with these people. While your money is in your own pocket, you have ALL the power.

There are a lot of stories similar to yours over on the Hotside forum -- and not just about Ciaplus. The deal is that the agency girls are frequently busy on a call, but the telephone girl won't tell you that for fear of losing a customer. So she will send out another girl as a substitute and hope you're horny enough not to care. Sometimes the girl will actually be available, but the telephone girl will throw the work to another girl who hasn't had any business that day.

According to Hotside, festinhas are notorious for substitutes. If you order a festinha with 5 girls, odds are good that at least 2 girls that show up will not be the girls you ordered. Sometimes as many as 4 girls will be substitutes. Almost all of the agencies will do this if they can get away with it.

Another scam, again acording to Hotside, is that a lot of the girls who claim to be "completa" (available for anal) are not. Even the one's that say "sem frescura" (without fussiness) or "faco por que gosto" (I do it because I like it) are not gauranteed completinhas. The big cop out is that they only do anal with guys who aren't "too big". Once you actually get to the act, she'll say you are just too huge. (and what guy is going to argue with her on that point?)

My advice is to call early in the day for a nightime apointment. All the girls should have their schedules open if you call early enough. If its really important to you to get a particular girl (especially if she doesn't work under the promocao) make it clear to the telephone girl that you will absolutely not accept any substitutes. If any other girl shows up, you will turn her away without even giving her cab fare and call another agency.

When the girl arrives, you will have to pay her up front. This is an unfortunate practice peculiar to agencies. You should never pay a freelancer up front. If you want a particular service, like anal or cumming in her mouth, make sure to verify with her BEFORE you give her the money that she will provide that service. In general, Brazilians will keep a deal if you make your demands up-front and specific.

If at any point you get a "dealbreaker," (they send a substitute after you told them you wouldn't accept one, the girl won't do anal after agreeing to it, etc), do NOT take it lying down. No Brazilian man would EVER put up with that bullshit. Brazilian men expect and demand good service, and so should you.
