Hi there gents,

have any of you some advice regarding action in Beynost? I am coming there twice a year for 2 days (business only) so never had time nor chance to try something. I ussualy stay in hotel Lyon Est, once I saw some possible action girls there but could not try. Any suggestion will be really appreciated.

Visited Lyon this weekend and engaged in some mongering. Unlike Paris, where the SW's are rude and stupid, Lyon SW's are most congenial and some are multilingual.

Rue Port Du Temple & Rue De Republique had a day track. Very limited selection and some price goughing going on. After trying this on foot got in the car and went for a drive.

Glad I did. Discovered a very unique spot, Rue Vuillerme, look it up on ViaMichelin.com for exact location.

Rue Vuillerme is a short street behind Quai Penache, nestled in an industrial area. On this Rue and also on nearby Cours Charlemagne and Quai Rambaud can be found numerous parked panel vans. The bulk are parked on Rue Vuillerme.

The panel vans upon inspection from the front have curtains drawn and are occupied by SW's using the van as a bedroom.

Apparently the local police rounded up all the vans in town and made this location the "approved" location. One can park their car on Rue Vuillerme and walk the area, chatting up the SW's in their vans.

Action starts at 10AM and goes most of the night, 20E CBJ and 40E FS are standard. A wide and varied selection of flavors and shapes, some with high mileage, some not. All in all , quite unique and most inventive I must say.

Let me be very clear: there are no brothels, pick'up bars, massage parlor sauna or any other public places that offer paid sex in France. Paid sex can be offered outside with street action, in a private appartment or at your hotel with an escort, BUT NOT in a public place. If it is offered, it can only be a ripp off.

In a swinger club, once the entrance is paid, sex is offered for free. But for a single, it is hit or miss. Sex is not guaranteed. A good advice for a single is always to call before, and be smart dressed, it will be easier to enter. Avoid the afternoon's, there will be mostly singles.

I didn't actually experience any women in Lyon but when I was there a few months ago (Early to mid february 2005) I was walking down the street out of my hotel in the night. I saw some young french hookers on the corner, and tried to go up to them and ask how much but they didn't speak english and ignored me when they foundout I did!!! Also, a minute later an undercover cop car drove past. These girls may have been working with the cops to bust people!! Also, closer to my hotel there was a dodgy transexual sitting at a cafe, looking out the window all day, watching us walk past. At night apparently, him and another transexual attacked a girl in my tour group for some unknown reason (whether he was trying to snatch her bag we're unsure of), and later that night before I had foundout about the attack, I saw him eyeing me off on the street, swearing at me under his breath and looking back at me for some unknown reason. Watchout for those people, they're dangerous!!! I really found those streets of Lyon quite unsafe, and wouldn't even risk it there. Because of 1. getting ripped off and not getting anything, 2. not speaking french, 3. getting mugged, attacked or killed, or 4. getting arrested by undercovers who would bust the legitimate hookers, or by the hookers who are really undercover cops!

Lyon update

After some time I would like to update my "Lyon Report" adding more infos and correct some others.

A) Street Action Update
Some more action can be found on the Rhone quai (quai de Serbie / Quai Augagneur) between 8.00pm and 11.30pm (although I had some sightings as early as 5pm). SW usually are beautiful young girls from Eastern Europe. Prices are around 50 (for a quickie in the nearby parking lot) to 200 Eu (for 2 hours at their place) - of course depending on your negotiation skills.

B) Centre de Relax Update
You can find more addresses in the "Gratuits" (which are magazines made of free ads - The best is "Paru/Vendu"). You can find them sometimes in small containers outside bars and shops or in the hotel. Check under relax/Personal (speaking French is a must since you may have to call to get the address).

C) Escorts Update
The Escorts presence in Lyon is growing rapidly; just search the internet for "escort" and "Lyon" to find some interesting proposals.

D) Saunas Update
Saunas seem to suffer from lowered attendance; maybe is the economic crisis but people seem not as eager as before to spend money of pure fun...anyway for the details
Griffon - limited attendance but still viable
Terreaux - now pratically gay/trans only
Histoire d'Eau - last time I checked the sauna was on sale. Maybe a new owner will come out and straight things up (see my previous report).

E) Swing discos
Hit as saunas by the economic crisis, in detail:
Carpe diem - After the owners split in disagreement the club took a plunge for the worst. Now the club has a new name ("le 17") and a new owner. I was told that some renovation was planned during summertime. I'll report on my next visit.
Eviden's - the club is now pratically deserted - it seems that the club has lost his momentum and falled back into almost emptyness.
NEW ENTRY
Le number one - 158, av de Pressense (within the Parc) - it's a bit difficult to find a not exactly downtown but inside a "business complex" mixed with several other companies
This club is a real gem (sparkling new with friendly atmosphere). it offers saunas during afternoon weekdays and swing discos during evenings and weekends. The attendance is normally high and hot (mostly the very same people that fled from the carpe diem) and this club has become my new reference point in Lyon ( just as an example, the first time I was "personally greeted" by the owner wife who has no problem jumping in the action).

Since there is no report on Lyon, France, and since I happen to know fairly well the action (repeated 6-mo work periods), I would like to start my contribution to this fine forum with some infos about getting laid in this wonderful city. At the end of each item I summarize prices and what I liked/disliked (averaging the different providers / experiences / establishments).

To Jackson: Lyon may deserve a chapter on its own, after all it is France's 2nd city.

1) Street Action:

1a) In the afternoon (3.00PM to 7.00PM), SW can be found in the narrow streets of the "Presqu'ile" (the city center) mainly between the Saone river and "rue de la republique" ("rue du port du temple" is a good starting point). Just walk around and, when you'll see some ladies waiting on the street for seemingly no purpose, estabilish eye-contact and smile; almost invariably you will be approached with a "je t'ammene chez moi?" (do you want to come to my place?) - all have private rooms available nearby so you do not need to worry about finding a place for action. Providers are typically professional on the mature side (40/50 yo)

PRICES:
BJ at 30 Eu, FS at 50 Eu, no A-level offered.

I LIKED:
No need to have a car, private room is included, SW were mostly friendly, clean and provided unrushed service.

I DISLIKED:
A tad too old for may taste, with some feelings of worn-out.

1b) During the night (10.30PM up to 3.30AM) you can find some action in the area below the "Perrache" train station (around the "Avenue de Charlemagne") or on the river "quais" (both Rhone and Saone); drive around and scout the area. SW are on average younger than above but, since there is also some drug dealing going on, it's possible some SW are also on drugs; in addition, this area is also known for some transex so double-check to avoid surprises. After pickup, you will to drive somewhere and perform in the car or go to a hotel (mine was close) since there is no viable accomodation nearby.

From 50 to 150 Eu depending on what/where (A-level possible).

I LIKED:
Provided A-level (in the hotel).

I DISLIKED:
unsafe environment, plenty of transex, no accomodation, expensive for quality

1c)
Late afternoon (5.00PM to 7.00PM) there is some action next to the "ecole internationale" in Gerland and the nearby area (close to the football stadium). Mostly foreign girls (from Albania, Hungary, Senegal, etc.). Again no accomodation but around the stadium there are plenty of parkings that are empty in non-playing days; so just drive to the far side and you will enjoy some privacy.

I LIKED:
Nice good-looking chick.

I DISLIKED:
language barrier, rushed service, lack of privacy was offputting.

2) "Centre pour hommes":
Some places are advertised as "centre de detente corporel" (body relaxation centers) or "centre de soin" (care-center) expecially on the "Lyon poche" - a small weekly booklet you can buy at any newsstand - check the last pages. You can go directly (if marked with "sans RDV" or "pas de RDV", i.e. "no appointement necessary") or phone in advance to set a time (advisable). Speaking french is a must since very few girls speak english. Upon arriving, you will be presented with a menu of
choices (if you want the girl topless, naked, use of the jacuzzi, etc.), you will pay and you will get a massage according to your choice, ending with a HJ. If you are known and liked (i.e. a repeated customer who is also nice, clean and respectful so that the girl can trust you), then some - albheit not all - girls will be willing to go some "extra miles" for a price but please keep in mind that attitude pays more than money here.

"first timers" - 40/50 to 120/160 Eu (depending on options)
"extra" - 160/180 Eu for FS, 220/300 Eu for A-level

I LIKED:
Nice clean environment, unrushed services, mostly good-looking girls.

I DISLIKED
Need to pay repeated visits before gaining confidence, on the high end of the scale may prove too expensive for the service offered.

3) Escort
Lyon won't offer much in the escort scene. Most of the escorts are located in Paris or Geneve and they will travel to Lyon periodically or by appointment. I have no direct experience w/escorts in Lyon but I was recommended "Arielle" (http://www.arielle-escort-lyon.com/presentation.htm). You can find some other info on the net.

For sake of completeness, I'm also detailing other ways to get laid but be advised that from here onward we are now dealing with FREE SEX and NOT prostitution.

4) "Saunas clubs":
In Lyon there are clubs defined as "saunas mixtes" (details below). Since most of these clubs are "members only", they will reserve the rights to register customers and eventually to select/deny access - registration is free but you may be asked to show proof of ID, so keep one with you on the first time.

Once inside, you will be assigned a locker (with lock and key to keep your valuable and your clothes), disrobe, walk in, have a sauna, get familiar (ability to speak french advisable but not necessary) and then test your chances. All the clubs have
a small bar (no alcohol except beer) and rooms w/various levels of privacy. The female attendance is made by "swinging" couples and dissatisfied/oversexed single women.

4a) Sauna du Griffon - Place du Griffon (roughly opened from 1pm to 11pm mon/sat)
Small club w/friendly staff and a solid base of regular customers. Good if you are looking for quality over quantity/variety. Give time to be known and you can be sure to have your share.

4b) Sauna du Terreaux - 6, Place du Terreaux / 12, Rue St Catherine (opened 2pm to 11pm/2am) Medium sized club, unfortunately attendance is slowly moving from hetero to gay; it's still worth a visit though.

4c) Histoire d'eau - 1, Rue romarin (check opening hous)
Adverising as a "Club naturiste" (i.e. nudist club) this club is the newest and by far the largest (includes a pool and a steam-bath) however it's also the most controversial; the owner has quite a name for his bad temper ( sometimes even irritating his customers), the place had hygiene problems in the past ("improper" use of the pool and the hamman), the staff and even some customers seems to be very rough. Since the place advertises as a "nudist club", some customers are not at all interested in "swinging" and this may cause misunderstandings and sometimes confrontations. I visited several times and frankly I did not like what I witnessed. If you still want to go then my advice is to be careful and alert.

PRICES:
Towel at 25Eu - Bathrobe at 30/35 Eu.

I LIKED:
GFE experience, real mutual sex pleasure, no money involved.

I DISLIKED:
Clubs may be full on one day and empty the very next, impossible to predict attendance, a few singles may be intrusive and "overcompetitive"

5) "Club prive non conformiste":
These clubs are the the saunas night brothers - basically "swinging discos" where you dance, socialize and get laid. As per the "saunas", you are required to register and also to dress properly (no jeans and sneakers). All clubs have bars (alcohols up to wine/champagne) and periodically issue dedicated nights (i.e. Couples-only, SM,, Bi-Women, gang-bang, etc.); in these cases you may be requested to comply/adapt/dress to the theme. Opening hours are 5PM to 7PM and 10.00/10.30PM to 5.00AM. Note that it's not uncommon to exchange phones and keep the connection alive with private evenings in someone's house; so this is a good way to get a stable mistress.

5a) Carpe Diem - 17, rue Hyppolite Flandrin
Very nice club with small dance floor and underground cabins, the staff is very friendly and helpful in introducing you to the regular customers thus greatly facilitating your task. IMHO the best attended club in Lyon.

5b) Why not? - 313, Rue Duguesclin
Large club (with sauna/Jacuzzi available but not included in the entry fee), with some "coin calins" ("private corners"), no private cabins. Nice environement but it seemed to me that it was focusing more on being a disco rather than a club prive. Maybe the customers were too eterogeneous to properly mix, maybe there were too single males, maybe the couples were more interested in dancing instead of swinging; for whatever reason, I was not impressed; maybe you will be.

5c) Bamboo - 24, Rue St George.
Club with a solid name but IMHO it needs to refine its selection process, since it tends to overselect singles on some nights and allow anyone on others (maybe to generate some $$ flow). So on some days it will be almost impossible to get in, in others there will be plenty of horny men competing for the few available women - lemme tell ya, a stressful experience. In addition, compared to 5a and 5b, customers are not as classy and refined.

5d) Le Diamant - 24, Rue des Macchabees.
Small club, it was recommended to me by a friend but when I went there it was consistently almost deserted so I don't think it's fair to comment, maybe I was unlucky or went the wrong days.

5e) Eviden's - 6, rue Ste Marie des Terreaux
The oldest club in Lyon, it's tiny (almost no dance floor) and offers an underground space with a large bed and no privacy whatsoever; so you have to be confortable with people looking at you. It's really a "swingers club" with little space for anything else (dance, chat etc.). After some time of decadence, it's starting again to gain some attendance. To check again in the future

Couples at 35Eu - Single men at 65 Eu (4 drinks included).

I LIKED:
