If you go to the temples you will be approached by young children selling postcards and stuff. I wish I wanted this stuff but I never do. I did buy a fan because it was so stinking hot.

Free food and drinks. Funny.

But then we were driving home and he knew I had cash (I didn't have any left at this stage) and he asked if I wanted a girl. He called her and drove me to see her. Ohhhh. Melting heart. There is a strip of massage shops near one of the many night markets. They have seats and those little fish outside. The are all legitimate if you stay outside. But they will grab males and say Air conditioned room. This means private room. This means the girls want a tip. Their asking price is $25 or more and they will take off their top and you can touch. But you can get it for $7. They will all agree to $7 but they will spend the entire massage asking for money if you do not agree. I kicked on out after 20 minutes of her asking. It was a double massage. She wanted $25 for each of them. I said I had already had a happy ending so I didn't need another. She insisted I have another one. She went from 25 each to 20 each to 15 each to 10 each over 25 minutes of me saying no. It was such a shit massage. It was like I was dealing with one of those phone sales people who call you up. IN the end I said to her If you say one more word I will kick you out. She spoke again and I said haha get out. And she was shocked so once again I just raised my voice Get out. I don't want you in here. I was an idiot then and gave the other girl who had said virtually nothing the $25 even though $7 was plenty. The same thing happened several times over the next few days. They all go on and on for money. The walls in these places are very thin and the same thing was happening in the next room. The man only wanted a massage because he was going home to a gf. But they insisted. Starting at 35 and dropping to $10 or whatever over 30 minutes. It is constant arguing. Ever massage here is done with 2 girls. They are masters at upselling. One girl will grab you on the street and bring you in and her friend will then we with her and they will ask if you want a double. The price is $3 per 30 minutes plus a tip of maybe $7 for whatever you can get for the girl. The tip is the same if you pay $5 for an hour massge instead. Price per girl.

I will share 3 experiences.

1. After a night out I was walking back to my hotel and passed 3 girls on bikes and one dude. Two of the girls looked like ladyboys and the other might have been. Get out of my room now or I'll call the police. She kept calling and asking for $5. I just raised my voice into a shout and told her to GEt out now. Haha. She left. No tip. And me and my money were safe.

Siem Reap is a very touristy town (if I were being extreme, a tourist trap, compared to the rest of Cambodia). The most striking evidence of this is how neat and clean the city is compared to others in the country. Most people come here for the Temples and to my surprise, some just fly in for that and leave, without seeing anywhere else.

My experience: I stayed 2 nights and got the hell out, so I likely missed some things, though I don't regret not having stayed longer.

I stayed at the Alliance hotel which is girl friendly.

So, what does it have to offer? Less, I would say, but still something. The going rates here are higher, as one would expect, for Khmer and barang alike.

After looking around aimlessly along "Pub Street", I asked a Tuktuk driver who promptly drove me to the outskirts of town, to the two long, crossing streets of "beer gardens" which mostly serve Khmer. Outside of each stood a number of women. I walked in to a few, got a beer, smoked, called a few over, none caught my eye, none spoke very much English. The clientele was exclusively Khmer which made me feel a bit out of place. One girl (Vietnamese of course, those scammers), when asked, quoted me 60 dollars, which I promptly rejected, paid the bill, left. About to leave back to the hotel, I bumped into a Belgian who I asked about the scene, and told me about a place called "Mickey's" which he was going to. I called a tuktuk and followed him there.

DAY 1.

I happened to arrive during their New Year and the place was packed. The first night I tried Mickey Bar and there wasn't much talent at all, mostly 5's. Had some searching to do for the first two days in siem reap. As one report had mentioned "lane next to park hyatt" and another had mentioned "lane next to maharaja restaurant". Let me give you the low down on my experiences, as I went to three parallel lanes. These lanes will be there on your right hand side if you are walking on sivatha road, from Park Hyatt in the direction of pub street. Yes, Park Hyatt main entrance should be on your right hand side.

#1 = lane next to park hyatt = does not have any massage parlours, so please don't waste your time. (Exploration on Day 1)

#2 = lane after mickeys night bar / blue wave bar, going towards Angkor night market/ (Exploration on Day 3)

This lane is about 200-300 meters long and leads towards the night market. There are at least 3-4 massage parlours on each side of this lane. In this lane, everywhere, printed pricing was $8 for 1 hour oil massage but all were giving discount of $2 on the printed pricing! This street had slightly better quality of rooms and places than the one mentioned below in #3 lane. They all had massage chairs stationed outside next to the street so I am assuming that tourists and locals get foot massages done in the night after or before visiting the famous Angkor night market. Asked at 4-5 different places for "boom boom massage" but no one was ready. At 3 places, girls were ready to give "special massage" which meant only hand job. All refused blow jobs and sex. One said YES for Lip kissing / DFK, but then was not willing to remove her clothes. While another one said "no touching my body"! Pricing for the "special massage" varied from $10 to $20 after negotiations! I liked 2 women (1 each at 2 different places) but did not end up doing any business because of the girls' pre-conditions and the pricing associated with their pre-conditions. I Thanked GOD / ISG / and forum members in my head! Pricing = She started from $30 and I countered with $10. She confirmed at $15 for 1 pop and 1 hour. I realised that I had landed up with a "dead fish", but what the heck, her pretty & innocent face / cuteness / excellent young body had made me rock hard, I put on the CD and I pounded her for the next 15 minutes before I came with a shudder. She, on the other hand, did not display any kind of emotion / panting / excitement / arousal / enjoyment! But hey, I did manage to score with a PYT, and so I did not have any complaint about her "in-activity"!
