I found a place just off the main Sok San drag, it has UK in it's name. You'll find it in Google maps quite easily. I was able to negotiate 2 hrs oil massage for $10 (down from $13) and HJ finish fore $10. Pretty good way of killing a couple of hours during the day. With massage places, I recommend that you ask if there are private rooms. That's the best indicator for extra services.

Ill be in Siem Reap in just over a week. Not a mongering trip but I think Ill check the scene and find X that you mention. I booked my hotel for 2, because I always do just in case, no idea if my hotel is girl friendly. But I think I read here hotels generally have a problem bringing back girls in Siem Reap? Ill have to read up again, as sell as get my Tinder back up and running.

I'm def interested in the tuk tuk bar you mention? Can you share how I might find it. I'm definitely not looking forward to the terrible loud music at typical bars here and in phuket. Would love to play my own music.

I put up at Apsara Centerpole (it's couple of minutes walk from Pub Street and paid about 20 dollars a night). Both nights I came back around 2 am and no one was there to ask questions. Better would be pay / book for two.

The problem with tuk tuk bars is there are 4-5 together and all play their own music. Although you can play your own music but so will be others and it gets messy. These tuk tuk bars are located right across the road from X bar. Get to X bar (terrace) and look towards your right. You can't miss these bars. Brightly lit and loud.

I went with a tour which started from One Stop Hostel. 6 usd for guided tour and 37 usd for Angkor what entry. If you want to catch the sunrise you will have to leave at 4. 3 am.

Long post alert.

I was bit hesitant to visit Siam Reap to be honest as the forum seems less active compared to other cities in the region. However I must admit it was a very different experience compared to the rush of Phuket / Pattaya / Bangkok. Currently I'm in Phuket and it seems crazy. Cutting the story short, let me summarize my findings and updates.

Day 1:

I had signed up for Temple Run the next day and it starts at freaking 4 am so obviously couldn't pick up any girl for the night. So I went here based on the recommendation below.

This place looks legit from the outside so that I can avoid walk of shame. I opted for 90 minutes body massage and the first masseur is a legit one and it lasted around 30+minutes, I was ready to just let it be normal massage until she switched with younger and more attractive looking lady. I strongly suggest that you email the hotels / guest houses you are considering and asking if you can bring a guest to your room if you book for 2 people. I say this based on my experience, particularly in SR. Some are guest friendly, there being two types of "friendly". Some will allow with no extra charge; some will allow for an additional fee; some prohibit unregistered guests to go to rooms. Of course, this applies to accommodations in almost all cities including BKK.

As told before, I fear that my trip to Siem Reap will only be temple visits and some massages I checked in at dating sites. Already got a date with a nice gal, we will meet the first night.

Was taken by a local guy to a KTV. Not all the girls are willing to go with a foreigner, but the guy managed that I was able to get a nice khmer girl.
