This one will be a bit brief, as I'm using a phone. Until I DL a good secure browser for my MacBook that I can delete after the trip, my writing is a little cramped.

Got off a Koreana flight from Seoul around 22:15, was out of the airport in 20, where I was greeted by the receptionist / tuk tuk driver that took me to the Bunwin. Paid 50/ nt for the suite, which achieves expectations, though slightly off the beaten path--from my frequent RTFF, I've found this to be a recurring theme. Anyhow, by the time I was showered, changed, and ready to hit Pub St. , it was 1 am. Well, I slept none of the 11.5 hour flight to Seoul from California, and all of the 5. 5 hour flight to Siem Reap after the fact; it was either Pub Street on scotch alone in my room. With that said, I hit it up in the hopes of seeing one of the MPs at 1321'19.9"and 10351'11.4" (Google now displays that street as simply "Night Market St", by the by).

Get down to Pub St, and although it's looking fun and active, that's not what I'm looking for At that moment. A bit of primer on myself; I'm a dark-skinned Black guy, later mid-20's, with a very (at times described as "generic") American accent; in the DR I'm often confused for a Haitian until I speak. I say this only to provide you a sense of context, because I know that whereas I enjoyed the atmosphere of late night Pub St. , it very much struck me as a touristy drag. Going to try Hip-Hop tomorrow, provided I get a pop in first. The moral of this story is that anything not in Pub Street is basically empty or closed after midnight (on a Friday, nonetheless).

Speaking of getting a pop, I rolled over to the street where all the MPs are, and it was pitch-black, to my chagrin. Had a few tuk-tuk drivers proposition to take me to boom boom, and in addition to a motorcycle girl posted on the corner to what I'm now shortening down to NM St, I saw a Viet stunner turn the corner down that street as well. Tempted to follow her down said dark alley, but my big head won out and I walked back down to Pub St. To have another brew at Temple Bar as I waited on my tuk-tuk to swoop me up. About to take an hour nap, go get "Angkor what at Sunrise" off my bucket list, and hopefully get a massage or some proper action. Stay tuned; going to try not to peter out on this trip report, wish me luck!

Are you actively mongering or are you just in the area for Angkor what? Tried to get an idea of what Pub St. Looks like right now as I'll be there next week for a couple of days to start off my SEA trip.

You may have picked two ladies who were not Cambodian or who were Cambodian muslims. At a guess they were possibly Rohinga from Burma / Myanmar. That would have explained their interest in seeking Angkor what.

I have also met Cambodian muslims before. I think they are from the remnants of the Cham people. Some are virgins until they marry, or so I've heard. But there was one lady in Snooky who I found out much later was Muslim even though she was one of the most prolific around. She once offered me ST even though her expat boyfriend was in town, apparently sleeping it off in his guesthouse.

Actually where is the best place to hunt? I don't see any suggestion from anyone.

Arrived in Siem Reap a few days ago and my experiences mirror what other posters have noted about the town. It's a nice enough place and the AngkorWat ruins are amazing to see and it's not possible to visit all of them in a few days.

However, the night life is not all that great. The main Pub Street area and night markets appears to mainly exist to fleece backpacker tourists and upscale market adventurers. I noticed only a few potential SW's near the corner of the Red Piano and 11 Street but nothing in the clubs such as Hip Hop located on the opposite side of the river across from the Pub Street area. Mikey's had woeful looking ladies and the massage parlors had an assortment of unattractive fat ladies barking at me as I walked by. I was also constantly pestered by tuk tuk drivers.

However, I stopped in one massage place called Cool Sense directly next to the infamous Mikey's as there were several cute girls working there (at the massage place). I selected a very cute girl who gave me a nice massage but it soon became apparent there were no other offers forthcoming. Towards the end of the massage, I mentioned that I planned to visit AngkorWat the next day but due to her poor English skills, the girl thought I was INVITING her to Angkor Wat with me. I decided to go along with it anyway as it is free for Cambodians so no additional cost to me except the tuk-tuk to the site, which I would pay for anyway. I also asked her to meet me after work, which she agreed to do and she asked to bring another friend from work who spoke good English. We met outside my hotel as she did not want to come into the hotel lobby.

I quickly discovered her friend spoke no English. Apparently, the English speaking girl, if she ever existed, was busy. So we went to the Red Piano for drinks whereupon I discovered this girl and her friend also did not have I D's. Any chance of further encounters went out the window with this news. And the other girl said she was hungry but fortunately the restaurant had stopped serving so got out of any further expense and bid them adieu after they drank some fruit juice as they did not drink alcohol. I ran into again later in the evening at HipHop but I did meet them both the following morning and took them to Angkor Wat for their first visit but by the end of the morning, I thought that I must have selected the only two virgins in all of Cambodia for company.

I can confirm that extra services are offered at the massage place with the ladies in red on the road to the night market. They aren't color-coordinated during the day, but there are usually a few ladies available then as well. It's about halfway down the street on your left as you're walking towards the night market. I've been there twice recently and was offered a BJ for $20 during my one visit and "boom boom" for $25 during my other visit. Both girls were in their late 20's and decent looking, but far from spectacular. Nothing more than a HJ seems to be available at any of the other places on that street.

Also, just a word of warning. A few recent posts have mentioned the SWs at the Pub Street intersection, but you should know that few, if any, of those are natural-born ladies.

I think you would have better luck picking up a tourist or backpacker at Angkor what or Angkor Thom during the day. A little bit of game goes a long way here. The Pub Street scene seems to be rather boring with a few inebriated coeds around the Temple Bar. Overall, the nightlife scene has little to recommend. I went to HipHop and sat outside as the music inside was deafening. The Red Piano is a nice place to sit outside and watch the world go by. It also had the best Cuba Libre (rum and coke) I have had in Asia. It is even listed on the menu properly as Cuba Libre as one would order it in the Americas. I think they added some bitters to it.

Anyway, surely there are a raft of European / Aussie / American girls on their vacation more than willing to share the love? What would you suggest in terms of backpacker places to meet these types,

1) In Ochheuteal beach, Dolphins and JJs attracts the backpackers and freelancers. Scene occurs later in the night.

A lot of girls hang out in Ocheuteal beach during the day time. Not a real pick up scene, but if you have game, it can be done.

Monkey Republic has a lot of backpackers around.

There are party boats that goes to the islands. You can take day trips. Never done it, but it seems fun. It will be a boat full of drunk, young people.

2) In Siem Reap, it would be Pub Street. Doesn't feel like a meat market, but many westerners around. I didn't see many streetwalkers, as reported by some people (I was there 2 years ago).

3) In Phnom Penh, the backpacker scene was next to the lake. But too bad they filled up most of the lake and kicked out the backpacker scene. The scene, whatever is left of it, moved to Street 172. Too bad; the scene on Street 172 doesn't seem that good.

4) Your best bets to pick up backpackers would be Bangkok's Khoa Sanh Road and Vang Vieng in Laos.

So I booked my trip to Cambodia on Friday past and have been RTFF ever since!

I have surmised that SR is more about Angkor what than you know what, but hey, it beats being in the UK! I'm heading with low expectations in terms of mongering, knowing that PP and Sihanoukville await, sandwiched between two weekends in Bangkok! As I sit in my living room in the miserable surroundings of Britain, a Bangkok sandwich sounds quite appealing.

Can anybody confirm if Blossoming Romduol Lodge is girl friendly? I have undertaken the usual forum and Google searches, but to no avail. That probably means no and from what I have been reading, it won't make a whole lot of difference! But you never know, find a gem and keep her in your contacts for the duration, better the devil you know and all that.

Anyway, surely there are a raft of European / Aussie / American girls on their vacation more than willing to share the love? What would you suggest in terms of backpacker places to meet these types, should the Cambodian / Viet search fail?

I will be sure to report my finding during and / or after my trip.

Feeling frustrated, I decided to try Top Town as it has been mentioned in prior reports. I arraigned for my Tuk-tuk driver from Angkor Wat to take me there last evening. It is about a 15 minute drive from the center and would be difficult to find unless you knew the city quite well. However, it is on the main road going to Phnom Penh though this particular drive takes you north for about ten minutes before taking a left on a dirt road for about 1 k.

The mama san was sitting outside and quickly walked me inside. There must have been close to 40 girls sitting around the main room. However, the mamaSan brought me to another nearby room where I sat for a few minutes. I told her that I wanted the girl to speak some English and she quoted me $80 USD for short time. About 20 girls came in the room and nothing over a 7. I finally asked 2 girls to sit with me with the intention of choosing one and renegotiating the price with the mama. Both the girls were older, perhaps early 30's, and claimed later to be childless so that was a surprise. Anyway, after my initial discussion, it was revealed that neither girls would kiss and the mama san said none of the Cambodian girls here will kiss on the lips. It was also indicated that no Vietnamese girls were working there so that option was out. Flummoxed and not pleased by this news, I decided to at least increase my odds of a good experience by selecting both girls, an ultimate really bad decision. I told Mama San, I would take both girls for long term for $100 total. She got on the phone with someone and she agreed to the price though said they would have to return after two pops so not exactly LT.

Back in the room things headed south quickly. First, neither girl would allow me to touch her nipples or breasts, DATY was totally out of the question, and a BJ, covered or otherwise, was also not on their menu. Frustrated, I put my shirt on and told them to leave though realizing that I was probably out $100. They then said 'oh it will be great sex anyway'. Basically, decided to forge ahead but it was predictably terrible. The girls pussies felt like the texture of burnt toast. That is what happens when no DATY is involved -- and they both had a Bush like the jungles surrounding Angkor Wat! After all this nonsense, I had difficulty having an orgasm and one girl had the audacity to ask if I smoked Ice. No, I said, it's the sex that sucks. Both were issuing the standard fake moans, etc. and one girl constantly was on the phone talking to various people including the Mama San according to the other girl. It was without question one of the worst sexual experiences I have ever encountered in SE Asia. I think that I will stick to viewing the ruins for the duration of my time here.

In other words, my recommendation is don't go to this place. I realize that I could have selected another girl (s) with possible better results but I am bit doubtful based on the performance of these two. BTW: the tuk tuk driver told me the other place in REP mentioned in prior reports had closed.
