It has been almost two years since I was last in Siem Reap, but I paid $10 short time. If I remember correctly $5 was also available but I paid a bit more for some extras. There are several small brothels around town in the 'original' Kmer style - basically a shack. The only one for which I can remember a location was near the Golden Temple Villa - a cheesy tourist hotel in which I stayed for $15/night. This house was across the street on the way out, I think few hundred feet towards the main street.

In siem riep this is an option as well,numerous freelancers at martinis and places like zone one have cute beer girls.

In a country where the prices in the major city, are 10-15 ST, it seems really a non-sense to be asked for 80, or even 45.
Simply ridiculous.

That is an option, yes, but my hotel quoted $25 for the service. That makes it less attractive since the prices in Siem Reap are already high for this area.

Plus, you don't get to choose your lady - unless you want the hassle of sending back the ones you don't want.

SR is a very small town. It's easy to get around by tuk-tuk, and most of the drivers know how to help you get what you want.

Thanks for your current report as I will be visiting in a week. I too would have gone around like you and wouldnt pay those high prices after reading all the solid advice here. The lady you ended up with was a good choice and thanks for the pics.

Well, here’s an update on this season’s prices at least.

Managed to escape my tour group after dinner and asked a tuk-tuk driver to take me to Sok San Palace, as recommended here.

Lots of flashy lights outside, and inside the fishbowl looked reasonable – about 20 girls in all. Mostly young, some quite pretty, but the papasan guy was asking $80 US for a 1 hour massage and boom-boom. Not what I had read on this board, so I discussed lower prices with him but it was no deal. Eighty period. No bargaining. I left.

My tuk-tuk driver was still outside, and he said he knew another place, so off we went and it turned out to be Madonna’s across the bridge and further on from Martini’s bar. Much lower scale, dimly lit, lots of girls (about 30 in number) but also lower quality, although one caught my eye. Asked the price from the mamasan - $50 for 1 hour. Same story, take it or leave it. No bargaining. I left again, not willing to pay this much when I had read otherwise here.

The tuk-tuk driver took me to a third place – almost next door to Madonna’s, called Bopea. A former hotel (cheap one) now a straight-up bonking shop, much better fishbowl presentation than Madonna’s, better girls too, and $45 – again no budging from the price.

At this point it was clear the prices are fixed and you have to accept it or go back to your hotel and have a wank. There was a very cute girl on the front row, number 38, so I asked for her, paid the guy at reception, and then he told me it was strictly one hour and only massage and boom-boom – no blow job. He repeated this with emphasis. Then he said they’d had a customer who refused to pay because he didn’t get a blow job. I said, OK, cool, no blow job, thinking wtf?

When she came out of the fishbowl she looked quite young, so I asked for her ID and age (this is not the place to make a mistake like that) and she turned out to be 23. Upstairs to a long corridor of empty rooms, and in to a bare bedroom with two single beds side by side, a desk and a shower/toilet. Reasonably clean.

She was very cute, very pretty, and very inexperienced. Actually, the massage was good – she did know about that –but when it came time to boom-boom she got all coy and shy. I had to coach her through it. In a way, this was kinda fun.

Nice body – though she had some red marks on her skin that looked odd – and nice trimmed bush. But everything was played very safe, all covered. No kissing, no daty, NO bj – just boom-boom.

But the boom-boom was very good. A Khmer girl. No English whatsoever. And very enjoyable.

It seems there’s a major convention coming into town next month – some 25,000 people per day expected for a cultural exhibition of some kind. Lasts two months, December to January. Maybe this is affecting the prices.

The khmer disco place was zoneone,recommended by a local.Only cambodians but there were nice beer girls and I believe they may be available after work.Otherwise martini dancing is fun and open all night.

It is easy! At any place where sex is sold, there is an attendant, usually male.
Observe what other customers do. Take your time. I spend from half an hour to one hour just looking around. Girls who are busy would come out in about
that time. When you find a girl you like talk to the attendant, how much would it be for the whole night for this girl? that`s it! if you think it is too high
move on. There is no shotage of massage joints in Siem Reap.

There is a bridge close to the old market you have to cross in order to visit
these massage places. You don`t even need to take a tuk tuk. I think they
open for business at 7.00 pm. The street is not paved. When in rains it sure
is muddy!

Someone reported that ¨Hollywood¨ massage is closed. There are others on
the same street. I remenber one with a big parking lot. Is is on the right side
as you pass the bridge. Girls, over 50, sit in rows. If you get to the parking
lot you could take a look at them. They would not see you, they face slightly
to the right.

If you find a good place, report it, that way we will help each other!

Phnom Penh is a bigger place. Probably you need a tuk tuk. A while back one
of those drivers took me to a place where I found a nice girl for $10, all night! I have no idea where this place was! It was night time!

I Visited Phnom Penh and Siem Reap At the end of 2005. Yeah! There are at least six massage places on the street straight past the bridge, by the old market. I took three girls in three different nights from Hollywood Massage for all night to my hotel. I paid $20 for each. Sure they wanted more, but, if you walk away prices will drop!

It is a fish bowl set up. There are few tables in front of the girls to sit and have a beer. Seems to be a popular place, girls are always on the move, they are all Vietnamese.

Before reaching "Hollywood", on the same side there is another joint, massage place, it has big parking lot, it must have close to 100 girls, both Viet and Cambodian. I paid $20 for a girl, all night! They looked to be over 18, all young.

I also visited Tokyo Massage, they were no better than the girls at Hollywood and the pimp asked $50 short time!

I would like to ask, how one gets a girl for a whole night from those fishbowl massage places? Do you just negotiate with a papason and pay to him for a whole night?

Problem is I will be in SR for about 3 (maybe 4) days and dont know if I can hold out that long without a decent bonking (without spoiling the market price of course.)-- You know that withdrawal syndrome can get real nasty--ha ha

Update: Hollywood is closed now and DoReMi sucks. I found another one opposite the Old Market: Sok San Palace (ST 25$) with some pretty girls. It is just off Sivatha Bld at the corner with Roof Top Bar.

Top Town seems to be more Japanese oriented.
