we've seen it in eastern europe, as the economic opportunities increase/improve, less women are considering "the nuclear option"
south america is no different. look at brazil, do you think americans would have celebrated getting awarded the summer olympics as much as they have? as far as i know the excitement has only recently slowed down.
but i'm not a "glass half empty" person. as more people become jaded and disheartened, that creates a more sophisticated market. meaning when just being white and american largely allowed you have the pick of the litter, its become much more diffcult to find success.
depending on your definition of "success" of course.
this being a dating thread, is there an "end game" involved?

As someone who long ago was ranked number 38 for messages received from chicas in all of South America (shows you how easy things were back then), I imagine that they have gotten married and are fat and living in the States or Europe, or are on Hi5 or Badoo. They have certainly gotten much more picky as far as the guys they are interested in goes. I dipped my toe in the water with a Colombian site, no young cuties messaged me, only got nibbles from age 30+.
