I've previously spent quite a few months in Geylang & contributed many reports re Singapore.

But I haven't kept up with what's up in Geylang & Singapore in general in the past year or two.

Were there any significant changes I should be informed of? As in prices, LE activities, visas, meds allowed in, best time of year to visit re girls, etc, for examples.

Been lucky to get a contact of a South India woman, had fun. This is an independent.

It is been very hard to find India girls around for action.

A simple search in the local forum would turn up a half dozen local Indians unless you are fixated on Indian Indians, and independent (does being independent matter?

Just thinking whether the downturn in the economy in SG and probably other parts of Asia will have an impact on Geylang prices. I spoke to one papasan at a Lorong House and he said traffic has slowed somewhat over the last few months, but wouldn't negotiate on price. Wasn't sure if we might see the standard rates of $150/$100/$50 go down at all.

It would seem that girls expectations for prices have gone up, judging by feedback here. But some bargains also reported.

LE activities seems to have escalated, esp in Geylang and around massage shops.

YMMV at any particular point of time.

Thanks for your advice. I appreciate that there is no hard and fast rule. I would never even have considered it if it wasn't for the simple reason that I want to see her. I do however know that she has regular overnight bookings at the shop and a lot of them are non-Chinese. I also know that for overnight Singaporeans pay half the rate other nationalities pay. She told me so. I know she is very popular because of her looks and service standards.

I guess you've probably seen some creative pricing in Thailand as well. I know there are clubs / ladies in Pattaya that will try their luck if you don't look like an experienced negotiator.

The reason you do not see LT rates mentioned for Geylang is that if you are not Chinese or Malay the pimps will make up a price on the spot and try to squeeze you for whatever they can get. If you are clearly a tourist then you will pay through the teeth, and if you are a seasoned Singapore veteran then you will be able to speak some Chinese, Malay, or at least some Singlish and also be able to negotiate some decent prices. But the biggest reason you do not see LT rates for Geylang is that LT is not very common there. Takeaway, and LT are not common operating models in the legal brothels of Geylang. Streetwalkers are a completely different story.

Sorry if this was not a lot of help but it's the best you'll get for Geylang.

I have RTFF but cannot find any relevant information on longtime charges at the Geylang shops. A Thai girl I am friendly with has moved to a shop in Lorong 16. I realize that rates are different to Bangkok but wonder if somebody has any recent information on overnight and take out charges.

There is a different charge for anyone that is not Chinese or Malay.

According to her overnight bookings can only take place at the shop as they are not permitted to visit customers at their hotel overnight.

There is a different charge for anyone that is not Chinese or Malay.

During the day a girl might be able to go out but the rate is the normal hourly rate irrespective of the number of hours and has to be back at the shop by 6 pm.

She is still relatively new in Singapore and only gets one day off in 3 months.

Come and stroll along lor 16 to 22 and hope for a catch.

Or go online and look for agents claiming to have movie stars and sometimes. Be prepared to be scammed.

If I assume you are an Indian. Why look for rare Indians in Singapore?
