I didn't want more time but that approach did not work either.
Can you share some house numbers that will accept foreigners for local prices? Thanks.

I arrive in Sing very late. About 230-3am. On Jan 2. Does anyone know if there is likely to be any action at that time? I have a 20 hour transit and was hoping to combine an LT room with some sleep and some non sleep. I'd appreciate any advice from old hands in Singapore.
Thanks Qb

Posts: 187Where did you find the Filipina? I came across a few in the cheaper hotels (usually trawling for business elsewhere), but not on the regular Geylang strolls. What I did meet in Geylang wasn't the greatest experience, Filipinas are best sourced elsewhere in my opinion.

Was in Geylang recently. Why does that sound like a prison name?
Anyway, hotels are fine and cheap (by Sing prices). Higher cloors are 'long time' so less noisy. And of course it's Singapore anyway, so no one's going to give you any grief. So funny to see the Chinese so restrained (or 're'trained? )- anyway.
Did a PRC. Real babe. Tall, slender, 24. S$80. Big Chinese tits, BBBJ. Though she tried to get it covered at first. Then banged her mish. She was gorgeous and so wanted to see her face rather than turn her around. Very good. She gave me her number, tole me I was really big (BS). But I didn't call her again.
Second was a filipina. Big ass, singing all the time. Waste of money (S$60).
Seemed I was the only white guy on the stroll there. But cheep beer. And the Thai girls were always flirting.

As foreigners, we are always going to pay more than the locals.

Some of those pimps can be a real pain in the arse but you are unlikely to get into a physical confrontation unless you're looking for it. The closest I came was after one grabbed my arm and I told him very firmly to let go. Laughing at his threat in front of his 'boys' made him more angry. I figured they wouldn't want trouble, but remember, if it comes it'll be mob handed. Best just walk away.
New visitors should be assured Geylang isn't dangerous, for anyone with common sense incidents like these are minor and infrequent.

This happened to me the other day, so I decided to share this experience. I was walking between Lorong 18 and 20 (the dark alley) and one of the pimps offered me a girl for 30SGD. This was around 5-6pm, busy time. Being aware of the prices, pimps' commissions, and the time of the day, I didnt believe him. I asked him again and he repeated 30. I gave him 50 and he returned 10. When I asked "why?", he told me 30 for the girl and 10 for the room. I told him that I have my room (81 star) very nearby. Since I have not yet selected a girl, I asked him to return my 50. He told me no and tried to play tough [even told me that if money changes hand, you loose it]. This fellow is like high school age, a bit chubby, wears glasses, 5.6 height, is nothing like a tough guy. His tough talk was more entertaining than intimidating. Anyway, I extracted my 50 from this fellow applying non-violent means. He didnt stop his tough talk and kept saying that I am not a man and I should leave the alley. It makes me think whether these pimps are capable of harming anyone or they like talking tough.

If you use a hotel, the staff are obliged (by law) to ask for ID. Hotel usually implies at least the possibility of an overnight stay, so the ST rooms that Dimension refers to (clan houses, p4p dives etc) aren't hotels and won't require ID.
This rule is applied strictly, especially by larger outlets. Even in a Hotel 81 outlet I'd used scores of times before where I was well known to the staff, it was impossible to check in without a passport (away on a visa application). The ID requirement shouldn't be a problem unless you think the Mrs might somehow get hold of the hotel check-in record, for a normal monger John Q Law (Singapore style) has not the slightest interest in your activity.

No offense meant, just a word of warning.
