I have an overnight in Singapore. Intend to stay at a Fragrance or Hotel 81 hotel. Can I take an FL into my hotel room at these places? Will the hotel allow it? Are the FL's willing to go to a bule's hotel room?

By the fourth day, anyone visiting Singapore should be over their jetlag. I awoke at 8 and decided to see what Geylang had to offer. Apparently, it wasn't much. However, there was one strange incident. From a distance in the parallel alley to the blvd. , I saw a tall Asian girl who was overly dressed seductively and had on lots of makeup. This provider looked like they were trying a bit too hard. As I approached, I knew it had to be one of those legendary SE Asian ladyboys. Singapore as a tourist destination leaves much to be desired. I guess that is why they are building (apparently around the clock) that big, epic casino to rival Macau. The area around the Hyatt includes Brix, the bars at and near the Marriott, Lucky Plaza and, of course. Orchard Towers. Read the details in the forum anbd then ask questions.

Had a chance a few weeks ago to experience Geylang for the first time. Stayed at Palace 81 thanks to recommendation from Gamma Ray 007... certainly nothing special, but decent and clean and about as central to the action as you can want. Higher level rooms are reserved for overnight guests, so there is less of the come and go action there. It was a little odd to see the occasional tourist group of elderly folks arriving at these Geylang hotels... I wondered whether the travel agents had warned them about the ladyboys hanging around out front!

As others have said, Geylang is mongering 101 - if you have problems finding a girl there, you are pretty much hopeless, as there are hundreds of girls out every night, and everything is pretty much available all day as well. Meandering the alleys and lorongs to get the feel of the ethnic groupings is fun and educational - you can see different costuming, experience different price schemes, and find out who speaks your language. Most of the action is on the even numbered lorongs to one side of Geylang Road... but meandering along the other side on the odd numbers was also interesting and had the occasional women offering a good time.

I tried a couple of the thai houses on lorong 6 and was not disappointed... others have posted numbers of girls so we can find the same one, but I ended up just choosing someone who looked good, and she was. One girl I had a good conversation with said she would be there for about 2 years before saving enough money to go home. The streetwalkers said they were there much shorter times...

I also took some good advice from someone here and chose an Indonesian streetwalker for enthusiastic service and good English skills... I was indeed served well! Geylang is definitely not a place for every taste - it lacks anything remotely like subtlety... and 'class' is not a word that easily conjoins with 'Geylang'. It's fast food, and if that's what interests you, definitely check it out. Indeed, even if you don't like fast food, it's a side of things in Singapore that should at least be seen if not tasted. The best time is late evening in terms of taking in the massive street scene on the lorongs and side alleys... I did not regret my time there, but I knew after two nights that if I stayed there the whole time, my cock would definitely fall off.

In the last few days in GL I had some more great experiences and I took in all three PRC gals and two indo gals.

The Indos offered the best price to service ratio but I do like the PRCs because they are much more beautiful and they are clean in their habits.

I will be taking a business trip to Singapore soon. I have read the forums at it seems that Geylang is the main place to do most mongering. I just wanted to know if there were any particular places in Geylang that were particularly outstanding? I have been to Thailand and there are some places that seem to be good year after year. I am only asking because I have a tendency to want to explore far to many places that I should. My experience is that higher price doesnt necessarily mean better service in Geylang. If you were liked by the girl, then you got lucky. I had some of my best experience with inexpensive Indo girls. Never had any luck with nice looking PRCs.
